Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

We are now seeking an Events Virger to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the Cathedral’s worship and events programme.
The Role
As Events Virger, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of services and events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and resetting the Cathedral for services, concerts, and special events. Assist with the setting up and removal of all content and furnishings requested for this activity.
- Opening and closing the Cathedral on a rota basis.
- Ensure the efficient cleaning of the Cathedral with effective use of time and materials and without the need for supervision (the team of Virgers are responsible for all the Cathedral cleaning).
- To be on duty, in accordance with the rota, on Sundays, Festival Days and other occasions, in addition to other routine duties.
- Maintain vestments, altar furnishings and vessels and prepare them for all Services.
- Operating sound and lighting systems as needed.
- Support and assist Chaplains, Guides and other volunteers as required.
- Safeguarding donations and collections.
What We’re Looking For

- GCSE-level education and previous experience as a Virger.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre CIC (SEEAC) is a non-profit organisation registered as a community interest company that provides community-based support to members of the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) communities, especially those underrepresented and marginalised migrants and refugees in the UK. Our website. This is a part-time role to lead SEEAC’s engagement with the East and Southeast Asian Communities. The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for reaching out, building and maintaining a solid network with community members, identifying and understanding communities’ needs, liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders who can provide relevant support and assistance, and supporting the development of communication materials for the communities. The post holder will work closely with members of the SEEAC staff team, volunteers and partners in organising and promoting community activities and disseminating information to the community members and relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you must have 2 or more years of demonstrated professional experience working in a community setting or a non-profit organisation involving social justice issues (as an employee or a volunteer) and strong organisational and administrative skills. We expect you to demonstrate proven ability to organise events and activities. You also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality, as well as a good understanding of project planning and budgeting. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and, preferably with a command of at least one of ESEA languages. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked as part of a diverse team and have exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of quickly establishing good relationships to respond sensitively and confidentially to all stakeholders. We would also prefer you to have experience of working directly with ESEA communities or other minoritised, racialised or migrant communities and/or have good knowledge of ESEA cultures. Those with lived experience of the issues faced by migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum and/or their family members are encouraged to apply.
You will report to the Programme Manager and collaborate with all members of the staff. At times, you will liaise and collaborate with SEEAC’s stakeholders, such as volunteers and partner organisations, to design and convene activities that effectively support communities’ needs.
Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members and communities, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Depending on activities and event planned, the post requires occasional work in the evening and during weekends within contracted hours. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 12-month fixedterm contract, on a part-time of 3 or 2-days/week part-time (0.6 or 0.4 FTE) basis, for a January 2026 start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week). About the role

You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with an Events and Engagement Officer.

Job Summary
Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. This newly established role in the income team reflects the growth of MHI’s partnerships and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious corporate fundraiser with a passion for digital mental health. MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating several major partners to support our core services (Shout and The Mix) and the development of three new digital mental health products. We are now looking to focus on these key partners, while expanding our portfolio of new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with high value corporate partnerships, including the delivery of employee engagement activities and communications, fundraising events and challenges
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement
- Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to steward and engage partners and prospects, including thought leadership, communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activities
- Support with business development, utilising Salesforce, Pearlfinders and LinkedIn to identify and track opportunities

Essential
- 3+ years working with corporate partners, including building at least one new large corporate partnership

Refugee Welcome Officer

The Refugee Welcome Officer is an exciting and unique role, supporting groups across the county who engage with the Social Justice Network to take part in the Afghan Welcome Project. You will assist with group formation, volunteer recruitment, training and provide ongoing mentoring to ensure their success.
As Refugee Welcome Officer you will work closely with the groups, local authorities, the Home Office, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and other key stakeholders to source suitable housing, matching families to accommodation whilst ensuring compliance.
You will build and maintain effective relationships with local agencies, councils, community groups and other sponsors to facilitate resettlement and share best practices, as well as taking the lead for coordinating recruitment and training and support for volunteers. You will also maintain DBS checks, training records and provide ongoing supervision and guidance.
In addition, you will assist with grant applications, fundraising initiatives, marketing and awareness-raising through social media, newsletters, events and community presentations.
You will have a strong passion for supporting resettled families and enabling local communities to be welcoming and inclusive. You will have experience working with volunteers, community groups or charitable organisations, and preferably experience supporting vulnerable individuals or families, including refugees or asylum seekers.
Knowledge of housing processes, private tenancies, and local support services is important, as are excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. You should be confident influencing, negotiating and problem-solving in complex situations.
Experience of delivering training and supporting volunteer development, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle and a willingness to travel within Kent, London and the Southeast is essential.
The Canterbury Diocesan Board of Finance employs this role on behalf of the Social Justice Network (SJN), a UK-based charity that works to promote social justice, inclusion, and support for vulnerable communities. One of SJN’s key initiatives is the Afghan Welcome Project, which supports the resettlement of Afghan families across Kent, London, and the Southeast of England. The project works in partnership with government bodies, local authorities, charitable organisations, and community groups to ensure refugee families are safely housed, supported, and integrated into their local communities.

Issues of low income, debt, lack of skills, poor mental health, forced displacement and isolation are complex and closely interlinking, trapping communities and individuals in a web of poverty. Barnardo's is seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join our Fundraising & Marketing Directorate as Interim Head of Individual Giving. This is a pivotal senior management role, responsible for leading a team delivering a supporter and data focused fundraising programme, inspiring the public to donate, do more and build loyalty through authentic and compelling communications aligned to Barnardo's strategy. It is a critical income stream—raising over £13 million annually.
About the Role
As Head of Individual Giving, you will lead a high-performing team of fundraising specialists across regular giving, cash, raffle, lottery, and legacy marketing. You will support in the development of the long term growth plan, work in inter disciplinary teams on campaign development and delivery supporting your team in this new way of working and be responsible for executing the plan so that it drives growth in acquisition, retention, and lifetime value of supporters.

What You'll Do:

Job Purpose
The weekend Home & Settle Project Officer is responsible for responding to referrals received over the weekend from both Royal London Hospital & Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will work with the manager on Friday to deliver services and plan visits on the weekend for you to attend.
The service supports people returning after a stay in hospital, helping them to settle back at home, regain confidence and support with some practical tasks, e.g. shopping/cleaning. You will manage referrals, carry out assessments, and in liaison with the manager, allocate service users to Discharge and Settle Worker caseloads. You will provide direct frontline support and co-ordinate visits to the service users’ home in preparation for their return home. You will work collaboratively to lead and manage the weekend service to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users. The service is time limited, up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust, build confidence, and settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks

Act as the first point of contact for all referrals over the weekend across both hospitals.

Meet with patients in the community and/or hospital and carrying out assessments and risk assessments.
