Volunteers are at the heart of MDUK’s work, contributing their time, skills, and passion to raise awareness, fundraise, and deliver community-based support. By fostering inclusive, meaningful, and well-structured volunteering opportunities, the Volunteering and Support Group Officer will help ensure that every volunteer feels valued and equipped to make a real difference in the lives of the community that MDUK supports.
In this role you’ll work with the Volunteer Engagement Manager to ensure that volunteers across the organisation are recruited, trained and managed effectively, so our volunteers feel supported in their roles, and get the most they can from their volunteering.
You’ll additionally support the organisation of in person and online activities which provide a supportive, welcoming space for people affected by muscle-wasting and weakening conditions to meet with others – both in their local area and online across the UK. You’ll provide support to the volunteers who chair and coordinate these events, ensuring throughout that meetings and events meet the needs of our community.

About this role

The Operations Manager is a senior leadership role with Home-Start Wandsworth, responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness of the organisation. Job Summary
As a key role within the Fundraising Division, the Legacy Marketing Manager will work to achieve the essential long-term legacy income that helps Anthony Nolan to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
You will do this by shaping and implementing our legacy marketing plans to achieve our long-term income goals. You will develop an audience-centric and insight-driven legacy marketing programme to attract and steward potential legators. You will also have line management responsibility and oversee our legacy administration work.

- Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.

We are seeking a Finance and Governance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the Trust’s finance, governance, and back-office functions. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective charity governance. While not involved in field-based project delivery, the Finance Manager plays a strategic role in supporting the organisation’s mission by enabling robust financial planning, reporting, and operational support. Our service provision in Hounslow & Hillingdon includes number of refuges supporting survivors and their children.
The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based services staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.
The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.
Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting. In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.
You will have knowledge of relevant Criminal and Civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.
As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.

About the role
As Support Services Manager you will support the Lead Myeloma Information Specialist, the Peer Service Co-ordinator and Support Group Co-ordinator to deliver their respective services. Our fundraising
The Bureau is almost entirely funded through grants and donations – without our supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. Over recent years, we’ve grown to a team of 35 people with an annual income of £2.8m, backed by a committed network of trusts, foundations, and individuals.
This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team as we build on those strong relationships and explore new ways to diversify our income.

- Work with project leads to take their ideas and build a strong case for support, translating complex issues into powerful, accessible narratives for funders.
