As Senior Fundraising Manager, you will play a leading role in securing new partnerships of similar scale and impact. You will bring a strong track record in new business development—identifying, cultivating, and closing significant corporate relationships.  You will design compelling partnership propositions, manage high-level external engagement, and ensure alignment with YMCA’s mission and strategic priorities.

This is a senior position with scope to influence both the direction of YMCA’s corporate fundraising strategy and the culture of the wider team. Managing a Senior Fundraising Officer, you will provide leadership and guidance, while also contributing to a collaborative and ambitious environment across the fundraising team.

The successful candidate will be an experienced fundraiser with demonstrable results in winning new corporate partnerships. About the role

The Facilities Team is responsible for ensuring that our residents have a safe and well maintained living environment and that Your Place meets regulatory compliance standards as a Registered Provider.

The Facilities and Compliance Co-ordinator will be working closely with the Facilities Manager and team, co-ordinating technical support, including day to day repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, health and safety compliance, facilities management, environmental management, and the administration of business continuity arrangements.

This post will involve working closely with contractors, consultants, and senior colleagues

Other responsibilities include

• Co-ordinating day to day maintenance, planned and cyclical/housekeeping administration, reporting and job allocation via iCompleat finance software, Salesforce & Pyramid maintenance databases.
• Checking specifications, quotes, and working with contractors on job pricing.
• Raising of Purchase Orders, tracking through to job completion
• Checking all compliance documentation Is In place eg. Risk Assessment and Method Statements and any Permits to Work
• Uploading job sheets, and all related documentation Including invoices and certification
• Overseeing a contractor’s diary and ensuring all regular checks are carried out.
• Ensure H&S policies are up to date and liaise with relevant consultants on reviews, and ensuring new starters have H&S information and guidelines.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive compliance recording data base to ensure that we meet and evidence regulatory responsibilities.
• Monitor and track through to completion health and safety issues from the daily building Inspections
• Working with the Facilities Manager and Senior Maintenance Officer to participate in Contractor and or building audits.
• Working with the Facilities Manager and Accounts Team to review Facilities management accounts on a monthly basis to ensure all expenditure is accurately recorded.
• Working closely with Facilities Manager, Impact Specialist and Head of Compliance to co-ordinate day to day management of compliance activities including monitoring of compliance, running reports, identifying non-compliance, proactively manage any potential non-compliance, data entry, maintaining property information, data quality updates, providing supporting documentation for reports, KPIs, etc.
• To ensure Facilities' KPIs are kept up to date and reported to SMT and Premises Sub-Committee in line with internal reporting timetable

About you

Experience

• Facilities / Maintenance and or property management background.
• 1 years experience in compliance administration is a must
• Experience of managing health and safety in the workplace would be an advantage.
• Experience of delivering Facilities related training, including site induction an advantage.
• Experience of working within a soft and hard Maintenance services environment.
• Experience of tendering maintenance and Facilities contracts.

Skills & Knowledge

This is a mission critical role that helps us build seamless, smart, and compliant operations for our organisation. The overall remit of this role is to:

1. Support on key aspects of financial management across budget development and forecasting, monthly reporting, and managing our external finance partners.

2. Managing domestic and international payroll via our employment partners, and managing vendors and contracting. 

3. Support on general operations across systems and software administration, and compliance practices.

Financial Management + Forecasting

• Support work on annual and multi-year budget forecasts, based on programming needs and organizational trajectory 

• Develop and maintain budget forecasting tools for departments to manage their annual budgets, to help inform strategic decision-making

• Manage organization’s cash flow to ensure financial stability across restricted and unrestricted funding

• Allocate staff, program, and operational costs to appropriate grants and work with finance partners to create budget systems to assign and track that spend

• Oversee work of our external bookkeeping and accounting partner–Jitasa–and serve as their main point person

• Develop cost types and appropriate coding for all expenses, and manage correct use of them

• Ensure all expense policies and internal controls are in line with best practices, up to date, clear and accessible to staff, and consistently referenced

Payroll + Vendor Payment

• Oversee and execute payroll cycles for all employees and contractors, through our domestic and international PEO, and vendor management platform

• Oversee  relevant local and state taxes and reporting, in line with US PEO requirements

• Responsible for payroll administration such as new hire documentation and processing standard payroll on a monthly basis and any payroll changes

• Manage contracting process, liaising with outside legal counsel when required

• Get vendors, contractors and new contracts set up in our contract management system

• Run due diligence processes in accordance with our due diligence policy

• Ensure and execute reimbursements for all employees in line with expense policies

• Prepare and issue any relevant tax documents for vendors and contractors

Funder Engagement + Reporting

• Work with the fundraising team to develop programme budgets for proposals 

• Manage financial reporting requirements during and at the end of each grant cycle

• Review draft donor agreements prior to legal, and set up grants in Climate Catalyst systems to allocate staff time and expenses accordingly

Annual Reporting + Compliance

• Support the Board Treasurer, CEO, and Jitasa in coordination of annual reporting to relevant authorities 

• Support annual audit preparation by serving as the internal coordinator for all requirements and documents as requested by auditors

Business Operations + Additional Support

• Manage all software and team systems, including access, permissions, and renewals

• Ensure all systems and data are managed in compliance with GDPR and other data protection legislation

• Ensure team data protection policies are up to date, relevant and adhered to

• Serve as the main point of contact to Climate Catalyst’s insurance broker and manage insurance policies – ensuring all policies are clearly accessible and paid in a timely fashion.

• Fill out and maintain all relevant lobbying documentation for the US, Europe, and any other relevant jurisdictions

• Ensure that all policies, trademarking, and terms of service are up to date on our website

• Support in material development for Board budget presentations

• Manage existing technology and equipment inventory and procure new equipment for all new hires and support in onboarding and offboarding as required

• Identify and implement systems and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Key areas of accountability

• Develop, maintain, and evolve a multi‑year fundraising strategy (3‑5 years) aligned with Headway’s strategy, priorities, and risk appetite.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who has performed at a director level or equivalent, ideally at a charity with a UK-wide reach.

You will be able to nurture and develop the fundraising team, building a strong culture in line with the organisation’s values, and motivating others to achieve shared goals by using your working knowledge of various fundraising disciplines.

You will be a skilled communicator, able to build relationships with and instil confidence in internal and external stakeholders including donors, supporters, and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

About the role
We are recruiting for a Fundraising and Marketing Support Administrator to join our Supporter Experience team based at our offices in Plymouth. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.

As Fundraising and Marketing Support Administrator you’ll be a proactive member of an office-based team that provides excellent support to the Alzheimer’s Society’s Fundraising and Marketing teams, enabling them to extend the reach of the organisation and raise vital funds to support those affected by dementia.

You’ll contribute to the success of different teams and functions across the organisation by completing a variety of administrative tasks including processing donations, answering queries, thanking supporters, handling complaints and maintaining accurate database records that reflect and enhance the customer experience.

About you
Joining us, you’ll be able to complete a range of administrative tasks, using your organisation and prioritisation skills to manage your time and workload effectively. - Assisting other parts of the Fundraising and Marketing directorate with their administration and fulfilment of campaigns.
- Responsible for your own workload in handling supporter queries/feedback, donation processing, and other administrative tasks.

Young Carers’ Project (YCP) Manager

Contract: Full-time | 36 hours per week.

Location: Kingston Upon Thames, with some hybrid working.

Kingston Carers Network's Young Carers Project (YCP) provides information, advice and support to young carers in Kingston. Our services include a weekly youth club and drop-in sessions, respite activities during the school holidays, one-to-one mentoring and targeted family support.

We are looking for a committed, proactive person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to lead the YCP team in supporting our amazing young carers, aged 5-18, who all have a caring responsibility for a family member. We currently support over 4000 carers, including over 800 young carers, who are caring for a relative or friend with a disability, illness, mental health problem or substance addiction. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan and deliver a range of activities and support to young carers to ensure that the project aims are achieved. Experience of working with young people aged 5-18 years is essential.

Job Purpose:
The Operations Assistant provides support to the HR and Operations Manager by taking day to day responsibility, under guidance, for various facilities, safety and administrative processes, including HR administration, as well as responsiblity for locking/unlocking of meeting rooms, routine health and safety tasks and other matters that contribute to making the office a pleasant and functional environment in which to work. 

The duties will also include giving regular support to the Fulfilment Manager and under their guidance, process orders and support with despatch and deliveries, in addition to providing holiday cover, when the Fulfilment Manager is away.

About the Service

As part of an innovative pilot project, funded by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, Solace will be providing two specialist workers to support victim/survivors engaged in the perpetrator behaviour change programme as part of a conditional caution. The programme aims to address perpetrators behaviour and increase safety for victim/survivors. In doing so, it is essential that the V/S has holistic support to ensure any risks are identified and managed.

This is a pilot project and it is expected that there will be a considerable amount of testing and learning, trailing new ways of working to meet intended outcomes.

About the Role

You will be working closely in partnership with Police forces in North London, as well as the Hampton Trust, to provide support for victim/survivors engaged in the CARA programme. You will also be supporting Police Officers to discuss eligibility for the programme and conditional cautions. You will be developing and delivering a series of training and learning sessions for the Police. As a new project, you will be developing key partnership relations, to strengthen collaborative working between the Police and Solace. You will provide light touch support to survivors whose partners are engaged with the CARA program, assess risk and share key updates with Hampton Trust and the Police to ensure safety.

About You

We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG. You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, experience of dynamic risk assessment and providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG.  As this is a pilot programme where the delivery model may change, a flexible and adaptive approach to your work is important as well as willingness to contribute to programme evaluation. Part of your time will be spent ensuring that Police colleagues have the information they need to effectively administer conditional cautions so you will work closely with Police, Hampton Trust to develop different training elements, a willingness to develop and deliver this material is essential.

A relevant qualification in VAWG is essential, as well as willingness to undergo Police vetting.
