The ISM is now looking for a Knowledge Hub & Resources Manager who will create, manage and deliver the ISM Group’s resources and professional development offering across a range of platforms including digital and print. This is a key part of what the ISM offers to its members and the wider music sector and it is vital that resources are relevant and of the highest quality. The Director of Corporate Partnerships will lead the development of strategic corporate partnerships with key organisations in priority sectors, generating significant income for Kew, influencing and supporting the implementation of nature positive strategies across the business sector and helping to facilitate business voices in influencing key audiences. THE ROLE
The Engagement and Communications Officer (ECO) is part of an exciting new ‘Building Capacity Project’ which seeks to develop the skills and capacity of communities on the west coast of Scotland to deliver the aims of the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest i.e. protect and restore Scotland’s globally important temperate rainforest. The Woodland Trust has secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for this project's initial two-year ‘development’ phase.

The ECO will support the Project Development Manager, project team members and local staff working in three landscape-scale project ‘hubs’ (in Argyll, Morvern and Torridon). The role will provide opportunities for audiences to connect with Scotland’s rainforest and build the skills and capacity needed to sustainably restore it. This involves working with communities, organisations and specialists to a) raise awareness of Scotland’s rainforest, b) facilitate volunteering, on-the-job training and the sharing of learning about how to restore it, and c) inspire a long-term commitment to look after it.  

The ECO will plan and deliver communications and engagement activities during the project's development phase, and support the Project Development Manager to create a comprehensive activity plan for the delivery phase.  This includes surveying audiences to benchmark attitudes; managing a launch event; using existing (or establishing new) local and regional communication channels to reach audiences and share progress; co-developing with partners a series of meaningful engagement opportunities; supporting project ‘hubs’ to develop their own communications and engagement plans and monitoring the impact of project activities.

This is an 18-month fixed-term position. Should our funding bid for the subsequent five-year ‘delivery’ phase be successful, we hope the ECO will remain in post to support the delivery of these plans. 

THE CANDIDATE
You will have experience building relationships with a range of stakeholders including community organisations and are comfortable collaborating and engaging effectively for different outcomes e.g. learning, consultation or facilitation. 

You will be able to confidently organise and deliver a range of events from online webinars to community gatherings; have working knowledge of using social media for marketing, capturing interesting content and writing engaging stories, and you’ll be happy self-managing a diverse and varied workload. 

Plus you’ll have experience working as part of a project team, supporting funding bids, budgeting for, and reporting on the impact of your activity. Oh and have a genuine interest in Scotland’s rainforest of course!

A full UK driving licence is required so you can travel across the west coast when required. Access to your own vehicle would be ideal.

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease (PVD) - a serious condition that can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting, and light-headedness. PVD can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised or well-understood.

One day, you might be writing content for our website and social media channels, and the next, you might be welcoming respected speakers and attendees from over 30 countries to our scientific webinar.

The Digital Content Manager role sits in the Knowledge Dissemination Department of the Schools Division. OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Line Management and Leadership

• Work proactively alongside the Service Manager to ensure the service and team meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators, and work in line with professional codes of conduct.

• Be part of the operational on-call Rota for providing out-of-hours support across the operations directorate.

Risk Management

• Follow relevant risk assessment and management procedures, share relevant information with others as necessary.
• Ensure all case recording and information is accurately recorded in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR.
• Alongside the Service Manager, champion, and act as a point of reference for safeguarding concerns within the service(s). Ensure all staff attend relevant safeguarding and training and use knowledge to coach and advise the team.

Property and Housing Management

• Ensure the accommodation in which residents live is clean and maintained to a high standard
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance issues are correctly reported and managed through to completion.
• Ensure a provision of high quality housing management service is provided to residents. 

Financial Management

• Support the Service Manager in managing the service budget and review monthly management accounts: Set budgets and ensure resources are maximised.
• Promote effective cost control mechanisms and other financial activities.
• Maintain financial management within the service.

Other

• Some of what else is included: Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours

Main Tasks: 

Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Coordination  

• Recruit and maintain a team of twenty active volunteers from the local community to assist in community building initiatives.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Multimedia Content Producer to join the Marketing Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. This role will support the Senior Creative Lead & Design Manager and Head of Marketing & Brand to create, commission and produce a wide variety of creative marketing materials, focusing on photography and video assets. 

You will work across all areas of SSAFA, so your creative talents will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work, this will allow you the ability to flex your content production skills to different audience types and a wide range of outputs. You will work from creative concept to asset completion and be able to lead on the development of our video strategy and planning. This is a new role within the organisation so you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the future direction of multimedia content, in particular focusing on video content strategy. 

You will have access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software, and actively encouraged to develop your skills and proficiency in areas you may not have experienced, some skill in using other Adobe products such as InDesign is desirable, but not essential. 

We are looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail, bags of initiative, creativity and innovation. This role will offer plenty of variety - no two days will be the same - but you will need to juggle different creative projects, be able to prioritise, communicate effectively and work collaboratively. 

About the team 

You will be joining a well-established team of marcomms professionals, ranging from Designers to Case Study Managers. You will have plenty of opportunity to interact with photo/video freelancers as well as other internal departments, such as Fundraising or members of the volunteer network. 

About you 

To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:

• A portfolio of video or photographic projects demonstrating; creative concept development, collaboration others/colleagues to produce creative assets. 
• Demonstratable experience of planning and managing a pipeline of photo, video or audio assets, and working collaboratively and effectively to achieve engaging content that supports SSAFA achieving its KPIs.
• Demonstrable experience of organising a photo/video shoot, including briefing photographers, videographers or others. 
• Demonstrable experience of creating compelling multimedia content that drives an emotional connection with the audience. You may have undertaken parts of this process such as crafting a storyboard and briefing the delivery, or you may have taken video footage to edit varying assets. 
• Experience working with a marketing or communications team to support the creation and delivery of digital assets for active TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social media accounts, including knowledge of different digital and social media advertising format would be advantageous. 
• Excellent skills in Premiere Pro (or similar) 
• Some skill in other creative tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. would be advantageous.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as needed. 
• Experience of working in a commercial, public or not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial.

AAUK are seeking a Head of Trusts and Global Markets to lead  our dynamic Trusts and Global Markets team to deliver a target of ~£4.5M in 2024 while seeking growth for the future. The role provides leadership across four key areas; Trusts in the UK (including our strategic partnership with the People’s Postcode Lottery), Trusts in Liechtenstein, Partnerships and Philanthropy in the Gulf (primarily Qatar and UAE), and Philanthropy and Partnerships in Singapore and Hong Kong. The role provides strategic direction to each of these areas, supporting the Senior Managers to navigate internal systems and relationships while seeking opportunities for growth and innovation. 

The post holder willplay a key strategic and lead role in the Philanthropy & Partnerships team (P&P), comprising Philanthropy, and Strategic Funding & Insight sub-teams, in order to ensure maximum collaboration, a joined-up approach to donors and increase income across the P&P team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds from trusts and foundations, as well as managing our global investment portfolio. Working  collaboratively with the Co-CEOs, board and Senior Leaders  to engage and promote  the work of the Trusts and Global Markets team, as well as working collaboratively with colleagues on humanitarian emergencies, ensuring Trusts/regional markets' support is maximised at these times.

Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining relationships with key trust and foundation donors
Developing fundraising strategies to secure funding for our programs and projects
Managing our diverse global investment portfolio to achieve financial growth and stability
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of our investments and adjusting strategies as needed
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in finance, fundraising, or investment management, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A solid understanding of trusts, foundations, and global markets is also essential.

The Foundation is currently in a period of organisational change, with a number of projects constituting change for our colleagues. Key Responsibilities

Working closely with senior leadership, the People & Culture team, and Corporate Communications team to support and deliver effective communications through a range of organisational change programmes.  

Leading communications advice and delivery for change within the Foundation, particularly on HR/ People-related changes and internal projects.  

Develop and execute a communications plan, aligned with our internal communications strategy, to support effective internal communications on the work to review our organisation’s operating model. 

Delivery of communications to support the in-sourcing of our Fundraising function (against a stage 1 plan which has been created) including staff and partner communications, stakeholder management, and Fundraising supporter communications.  

Managing ongoing change communications activity in relation to the in-sourcing of our Fundraising function, including monitoring of feedback channels, developing communications materials, any further development of existing messaging, and supporting information cascade.  

Supporting the Foundation with wider internal change as this work develops, advising on and creating key messaging, communications assets such as FAQs, and use of relevant communications channels.
