Marketing and Communications Officer
We are recruiting a Marketing and Communications Officer to champion and manage the PAPYRUS brand and support the delivery of our projects and services through data-driven campaigns, across email, organic social, and paid digital marketing channels.
What you will do:
Support the day to day running of social media platforms to promote our services, increase brand awareness and drive engagement with our audiences.
Act as the lead for paid social media and web campaigns, working closely with teams across the charity to fulfil individual campaign goals.
Work with different advertising platforms, including Meta, TikTok Ads Manager and Google Ads to promote PAPYRUS services to new audiences.
Produce regular campaign reports using analytical tools to optimise and inform activity on other channels.

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). ABOUT THE ROLE
EVAW’s communications officer will help inform the public and media stakeholders about violence against women and girls (VAWG), influence narratives about this abuse and inspire change.
Responsibilities include growing our online presence and media profile, creating engaging (audio)visual content and writing accessible and informative press releases, web pieces, social media posts and more.
The postholder will have an eye for design and a finger on the pulse of current trends, with strong written skills, a commitment to accessibility, and an understanding of social change and the UK’s media landscape.
You are likely to have some experience in a communications, media or campaigns context, working on VAWG or another human rights/equalities issue, and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.

CFG promotes remote-first working, although we do have office space at our registered address in Southwark, SE London for those team members who prefer an office setting. Hybrid Working: Connexional Team staff based at Methodist Church House have a hybrid work pattern which is currently 2 days in the office, and 3 days remote.
About the Role
We are looking to appoint an Internal Communications Officer who will play a critical role in developing and shaping the organisation’s internal communications for the staff of the Connexional Team.
The post holder will work closely with Senior Managers to ensure that the Team’s values, mission and updates are effectively communicated to all Team members working across several sites and from home, to foster a cohesive and motivated work environment.

In this crucial role, the Internal Communications Officer will be responsible for establishing and managing channels for staff feedback to leadership, producing engaging content for various channels, and organising and delivering internal events.
The successful applicant will also provide support and training for staff on communication tools and practices, encourage staff to be ambassadors of the Church, and plan and approve regular communications to be sent out to employees including staff newsletters and newsletters from Team members.
About You
The post holder will have at least three years’ experience of working with an internal communications context within an organisation and will have the ability to develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with the organisation’s values.
You will be able to articulate messages clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, that are tailored to various internal audiences. Exceptional writing, editing and proof-reading skills for a range of communication channels are a must for this role.
You will also have strong organisational skills with the ability to lead projects, work collaboratively and be proficient in digital communication tools and platforms.
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal and listening skills with experience in building relationships with key internal stakeholders.
You will also have the ability to develop a deep understanding of the Methodist Church’s mission, values, and objectives to ensure alignment in all communications.

The Head of Public Affairs and Campaigns will be crucial in helping us to strategically build relationships with advocates and champions for our work in Westminster and Whitehall, across key industry bodies, sectors and networks and at a local and national level. This includes overseeing our programme of events and working with colleagues across the organisation to develop and deliver high-quality campaigns that effectively build support for the changes we want to see.
This is a hands-on role that will work seamlessly with the Head of Communications and colleagues across the wider organisation to plan and deliver a powerful, coherent, and integrated communications and influencing function. The successful candidate will be proactive and tenacious in horizon-scanning and seeking out opportunities where we can most effectively influence the work of others. You will also be responsible for developing and co-ordinating policy positions and approaches that are attractive and actionable and achieve buy-in and support from others.
You will line manage three individuals and have dotted line oversight of the work of Communications & Campaigns Officers in our Action Areas, as well as general responsibility and oversight – along with the Head of Communications – for the work of the wider Communications Team and influencing activity across the organisation more broadly.
