Partnership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £38,814 - £44,581 pro-rata (depending on experience and FTE)

Location: This is currently a blended-working role with two in-office days (Tuesday-Thursday) during term time and the flexibility to work from home during school holidays. Occasional travel to schools and events will be required.

We are currently based at Resource for London near Holloway Road station, however, our office will be moving to another location in London in the coming months.

About the role

You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and growth of our national partnership through deepening the quality and impact of our local collaboration hubs. You will also oversee the day-to-day running of hubs of our schools and trusts, which includes holding responsibility for the operations of the Partnerships Team and working closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure that all hubs, schools and trusts have an excellent experience with Challenge Partners. 

You will also oversee the implementation of the organisation’s Account Management strategy, working closely with members of the Leadership Team  to implement our strategy for effective partnership experience (our term for account management and customer service) for our partner schools and trusts. This includes holding some key strategic relationships, representing the organisation at external meetings and overseeing partner experience operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Partnership Experience Manager will have the following key areas of responsibility and will be expected to undertake other responsibilities commensurate with the role as requested:

Strategic Leadership and Management  - Hub Quality and Impact

• Develop and lead our strategy to improve the quality and impact of Challenge Partners’ Hubs, continuing to develop high performing hubs and supporting rapid improvement in new and emerging hubs

• Deliver, grow and evaluate the impact of our hub-led programmes: Middle Leaders’ Quality Assurance Review and Leadership Residency Programme

• Oversee the continuous improvement of national Knowledge Exchange and Areas of Excellence

• Lead a Hub Quality and Impact team, including all central team hub owners and executive hub links, through providing clarity on the Hub Quality and Impact strategy and operations.

Strategic Leadership and Management - Partnership Experience and Communications

• Develop and lead the implementation of our Account Management strategy ensuring that accounts are given the attention needed to ensure a smooth experience and high satisfaction rates

• Oversee Customer Care processes across the organisation, guaranteeing that any issues are resolved in a professional and timely manner 

• Oversee whole partnership communications, including half termly partnership newsletters

• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships (Senior Partners, Hub Managers, trust CEOs) with your allocated key accounts to ensure that regular dialogue with them informs the strategy and continuous improvement in our support of hub quality and partner experience

• Act as an ambassador for Challenge Partners, representing the organisation externally where required

• Lead an Account Management approach through providing clarity on the account management strategy and operations.

Oversight of partner experience and hub management operations 

• Line management of the Partnership Lead and one or two Partnership Co-ordinators

• Team leadership of the Hub Quality and Impact and Account Management teams, delegating tasks appropriately 

• Work closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all hubs 

• Act as a point of escalation for any issues across hubs

• Identify hubs at risk, and lead on creating sustainable solutions with team members

• Work closely with the Finance Team to facilitate our invoicing processes for each academic year 

• Oversee hub funding processes across all hubs, proactively considering any changes needed in line with Hub Quality work

The Role

The Media Manager plays a central role at our charity, working closely with the Head of Media and Media Officer to manage the public relations function. You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute national and regional media campaigns to help people better understand our mission and motivate support.

The role is a hybrid of office and home working, requiring occasional meetings in the midlands and/or London. The frequency and location of meetings can be flexible, depending on the location and preferences of the successful candidate.

Core responsibilities within the role will include:

• Deliver national and local media coverage which supports the organisation's strategic aims through high quality proactive and reactive media engagement.
• Gather service user experiences and stories to create compelling media pitches.
• Generate proactive ideas for creative media campaigns and coverage to support the organisation's influencing priorities.
• Develop productive relationships with journalists to become trusted and go-to organisation.
• Work closely with colleagues in the External Engagement team to deliver an integrated communications approach.
• Develop the functioning and processes of the organisation's media team to ensure a slick, responsive and agile media function

Programme Manager (Data and Training)

An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic individual with a passion for projects that challenge and invigorate. Our client is looking for a Programme Manager with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple complex workstreams to join them in the Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (JAG) data and training team.

JAG  was established in 1994 to improve endoscopy services through clinical accreditation and develop training and support for the endoscopy workforce. You will be responsible for managing, leading and continuing the development of several projects, including;

• Endoscopy medical trainee certification (JETS)
• A training programme for nurses and other health care professionals (JETS Workforce)
• The accreditation of bowel cancer screeners (BCSA)
• The National Endoscopy Database (NED), which uses data from endoscopy services to support clinicians, services, and other bodies, to improve performance and provide a basis for research
• The utilisation of data from JETS, JETS Workforce and BCSA, to support endoscopy workforce development and growth.

About the role

You will work closely with internal colleagues, such as project teams in other accreditation and audit areas, as well as colleagues in finance, policy, IT, HR, and communications. You will lead and manage a team and you’ll have responsibility for and be required to work collaboratively with a broader team of sub-contractors and clinical leads. You’ll work closely with the JAG programme manager (Accreditation), to ensure that JAG continue to provide high quality services and support for the endoscopy workforce. The role requires you to ensure that workforce considerations and endoscopy data are effectively incorporated in the clinical service accreditation process.

You will make an impact every day by:

• Leading a high-performing office team who deliver the work.
• Working collaboratively with a committed clinical leadership team to develop and enhance the JAG data and training programme, working to ensure we meet our objectives and continually improve what we do
• Taking ownership of communication and engagement activities to promote awareness of the training programmes and data systems, improve engagement and support endoscopy services to improve the care they deliver, building excellent stakeholder relationships.

The Fundraising Manager is expected to be an integral part of the leadership team to manage the delivery of the Fundraising strategy.

• To work with the Fundraising Team to develop and deliver Halton Haven Hospice’s community engagement.  To achieve this by identifying, prospecting, supporting and facilitating the development of volunteer networks, individuals, businesses and fundraising groups across the Hospice’s area.
• To raise funds to meet agreed targets and objectives and be responsible for identifying, engaging and winning new support as well as maintaining and developing existing support from the community.
• Take responsibility for the line management of the Fundraising Team. and support and coach the development of the Fundraising Team.
• Liaise with all relevant colleagues to ensure that events and campaigns are promoted throughout the community.  To include providing content and gathering stories for web pages, social media and other communications as well as online resources for those interested in fundraising for the Hospice.
• To promote Halton Haven Hospice by organising and/or delivering talks to local community groups, schools and nurseries, businesses and other organisations.
• Record and process donations, correspondence and permissions on the database in accordance with the requirements of GDPR.  Acknowledge support and arrange cheque presentations; liaising with other departments as appropriate.
• The post holder will be expected to manage their own workload, work under their own initiative and provide feedback producing reports and event evaluations both verbally and in writing as required.
• To undertake any other duties which may reasonably fall within the role of the post which will include attending events in the evening and at weekends.

About the role

It’s an exciting time to join CXK as we continue to expand our reach and launch our new 5-year strategy.

We are searching for a Head of Bids, Grants and Tenders to work within our Development and Partnerships Team. This exciting new role will be responsible for writing and submitting compelling bids and proposals that clearly align to CXK’s strategic and operational vision, meeting the needs of our commissioners and funders.

The role will drive income generation and growth for the charity, creating high-quality tender responses on a regular basis, developing a pipeline of current and potential opportunities and proactively ensuring that all business development systems and processes are fully implemented.

As part of our Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Bids, Grants and Tenders will contribute to the strategic development of CXK, working closely with the Director of Development and Partnerships, our service leads, and the wider Senior Leadership Team.

Palliative care for children aged 0-18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes or elsewhere in the community. Supported by strong internal resources, the Head of Public Fundraising will drive growth across Individual Giving, Legacy, In-Memoriam, Digital and Prize-led Giving in the context of a highly collaborative, whole-organisation approach to fundraising.

The immediate focus will be on making the most of existing programmes, strengthening audience insight, and getting the team ready to play a major part in the organisation-wide appeal launching in 2025.

Growing Individual Giving income from £1.6 million to £2 million over the next two years will be a central priority, alongside expanding digital and prize-led fundraising and sharpening supporter journeys across the board.

As Head of Public Fundraising, you will: 

• Develop and implement a data-driven strategy for all areas of public fundraising to meet growth targets.

• Lead the Individual Giving portfolio, ensuring growth across direct mail, face-to-face acquisition, mid-value development, and telemarketing.

• Oversee the successful delivery of cash appeals, ensuring they meet both income and ROI targets.

• Drive the expansion of digital fundraising and prize-led giving, including managing the growing digital fundraising portfolio and prize-led initiatives.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Communications, to ensure campaigns are well integrated and aligned with the overall fundraising strategy.

• Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, coaching, and clear performance metrics.

• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to drive the strategic direction of public fundraising.

About you

The role needs someone who’s as comfortable setting long-term plans as they are getting hands-on when needed, whether that’s developing appeals, working with agencies or supporting new product ideas. Collaboration across fundraising, care and supporter engagement teams will be essential to making this happen and building an even stronger supporter-first culture at Acorns.
