About the role
As Marketing Executive – Loyalty, you will play a key role in delivering compelling, multi-channel campaigns that build deeper supporter relationships and increase income for Save the Children UK. Working closely with Marketing Managers, you'll help design and deliver campaigns across Direct Mail, Email, Telemarketing, SMS and Messaging, ensuring our supporters feel valued, inspired, and connected to the impact of their generosity.

The Team

Assistant Centre Manager
Role to cover: Bookings, Marketing & Administration
Report to: Centre Manager
Responsible to: Vicar and PCC
Place of Work: St Pauls Church, Hills Road, CB2 1JP
Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday with capacity to work occasional evenings and a maximum of 2 Saturdays out of 4 each month, if needed. Time off in lieu applied.
Flexible working is possible with core hours being 10am-3pm. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis and discussed with the Centre manager at the beginning of each week.
Holiday: 25 days per year plus bank holidays.
This is very much a hands-on role and will be suited to a candidate with sales, marketing and administration experience. This role is a significant and essential one for St Paul’s Church and Community Centre.
This role has two clear functions. Firstly to take the lead in room hire and bookings for the church. It is vital in this role for the business to be run with professionalism and skill, maximising the income for the church. The post-holder will develop a clear business strategy with support from the Centre Manager and commercial trustees. The business strategy should be mindful of the wider mission of the church and its community interests. An element of the position is event coordination, to help plan and run events, weddings, and to support external hirers with logistics and setup.
The second function of the role is marketing and communications. The post-holder will be responsible for helping to promote not just the commercial side of the business, but St Paul’s Church and Community Centre as a whole. This means developing an approach across social media, the physical building, the website, and other avenues to communicate the wider vision of St Paul’s. This will be done in consultation with the Centre Manager, Vicar, other staff members and with the PCC.
The role is the engine of the church, providing the necessary income to run the building, employ staff and help run the community programmes. You will be proactive and a self-starter, actively looking for business and ensuring all marketing has been produced and published accordingly. You will lead on the production of physical and digital assets and enable the updating of our website.
Experience in property management and with working in the 3rd Sector would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Report to:
The assistant centre manager is a key role in the life of St Paul’s Church. Working closely with the Centre Manager, other staff and volunteers, the postholder is essential to the smooth running of all our operations. The postholder works across the church and centre programmes but with a particular focus on bookings and marketing.
Role Description
Commercial:
• Be the lead on managing the commercial bookings from the initial enquiry all the way to the end of the booking, dealing with any queries or issues arising.
• Ensure that bookings are well-managed and appropriate for the spaces and facilities offered. Be available to work some Saturdays and evenings in order to facilitate out of hours and larger weekend events.
• Respond to bookings enquiries on email, via our website, on the phone and in person with a customer-focused professionalism and skill.
• Work with the Centre Manager and Vicar to ensure the appropriateness of bookings and cross-referencing with the church diary and community programme.
• Make and complete bookings on our Midas (or similar) booking system, detailing as much information as possible to be able to share with other members of the team.
• Work with the Centre Manager and Vicar to ensure the appropriateness of bookings and cross-referencing with the church diary and community programme.
• Administer all booking invoices in line with our agreed commercial terms, including deposits, and ensure clear paperwork/ communication for the book-keeper. Chase bad debts when necessary.
• Support the review of booking rates (including benchmarking), terms & conditions and commercial policies, conducted by the trustees.
• Bring in new business to the centre by reaching out to past, present and new clients to increase bookings.
Marketing:
• Be responsible for marketing St Paul’s Church and Community Centre, including physical and social media content. Be proactive in designing posters, flyers, banners and other promotional material, working with external designers and printers when needed.
• Advertise and promote the centre spaces for hire, working with the centre manager and commerce committee to maximise income.
• Ensure that both our physical and digital assets are within brand guidelines, professional and that they promote St Paul’s Church and Community Centre in a positive way.
• Oversee the website and ensure that it is up to date; oversee any new website design project. Enable other staff members to edit the website and support our social media.
Other:
• Be a team player who communicates and works well with our volunteers, the staff team, the commerce committee and vicar.
• Support the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations of running the church and centre, including parish administration, practical tasks and liaison with external contractors, as necessary.
• Be involved in and support special projects, church events and community programmes e.g. ArtsFest.
• From time to time, you may be required to undertake tasks outside the specific tasks listed above.
• Ordering general supplies for centre such as cleaning and kitchen equipment.

Aims:
- Ensure every Emergency Department has a suitable bereavement suite
- Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
- Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families
2wish Cymru and 2wish:
2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
We were founded as a Welsh organisation. However, in January 2024 we expanded in to Phase 1 of England (Chesire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somserset) and in July 2025, we expanded in to Phase 2 (Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We provide immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong track record in fundraising. This is both a hands-on role and is pivotal to the ongoing success of our fundraising targets. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and being responsible for a small team of fundraisers, you will lead and motivate the team to reach their full potential.
Main duties:
Management & Service:
- To line manage the regional fundraising team
- To execute the organisation’s business plan
- To assist in the planning of any expansion into England, managing any staff recruited during the early days of growth
- To establish fundraising communities by recruiting volunteers, engage with corporate partners and develop and maintain relationships with volunteers.

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum
Contract type: 12-month, full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. This is a key role working alongside our Senior Programme Manager and Senior Race Equity Specialist to shape our ways of working, to enable more and more ethnic diverse people to act for nature.
You will have 2 main areas of responsibility:
- Supporting senior leaders, Achieving Race Equity taskforce members and the programme team, including coordinating tailored guidance, projects, activities and events, that drive and embed race equity initiatives across the RSPB. This will mean working closely with other parts of the organisation to understand their needs and skills gaps and developing solutions together that meet those needs. This role will act as the first point of contact for all matters concerning support for the taskforce
- Lead on a ‘Principle Workstream’ within the Achieving Race Equity Programme and take responsibility for ensuring that projects and initiatives within key areas meet the objectives and are coordinated effectively.
This role will play an active role in communicating and engaging with stakeholders and senior management at different levels.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in driving coordinating and synchronising anti-racist/EDI change and trauma informed wellbeing initiatives with dispersed teams, in complex settings. This should include training and facilitation skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Deep understanding of achieving race equity, intersectionality, and the impact of discrimination in the workplace. Familiarity with the Equality Act 2010 and best practices in race equity work, preferably within the conservation or related sector.
- Proven track record in coordinating multiple projects, activities, and events, managing resources, including financial, logistical support for group operations such as travel and accommodation, while delivering clear, engaging communications.
- Strong experience in creating accessible content across various formats (written, visual, digital) that engages diverse audiences around race equity issues with the ability to move people to action.
- Experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders and effectively communicating change across the organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other digital communication and project management tools. Strong IT skills with the willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, build trust, and foster strong relationships across diverse groups.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

The Role:

Terms and benefits:
Terms: The role will be full-time (37.5 hours/week) permanent contract - we will consider well-structured JobShare applications. As we often work with volunteers, occasional evening and weekend work will be required and compensated through TOIL. Occasional but limited UK or European travel will be required (by arrangement).

Salary: £39,705
Location: You must be based in the UK. We have an office in Farringdon, London, where London-based staff typically work at least two days a week. If you are based outside of London, the role will be home-based.
We hold quarterly all-staff strategy meetings and annual away days which you will be required to attend in person: we will cover the cost of your travel. You will be required to come together with the team occasionally and these travel costs will not be covered, we try our best to keep these to when only necessary.
Language Skills & Visa Status: Candidates must be fluent in English and have the independent right to work in the UK for a minimum of two years, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Holiday: 22 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as an additional 3 days between Christmas and New Year when the office and our services are closed.
Employer pension contribution: We offer a 3% employer pension contribution, that you will auto enrol for after 3 months of employment with SCN.

We need you to support the Senior Manager to develop the health marketing strategy, plan and budget to achieve the relevant objectives and targets as agreed with Policy, Information and Communications (PI&C) and Marketing Fundraising and Engagement (MFE) and manage the delivery of the health marketing plan.
What will I be doing?
Supporting the Senior Manager to translate the Marketing Fundraising & Engagement (MFE) / Policy Information and Communications (PI&C) operating plans and budget into a health marketing plan and budget
Managing the development and delivery of cross-channel integrated briefs
Managing the content and creative production, testing and optimisation process, ensuring campaign assets are fully aligned with Brand messaging
Managing the approval process ensuring all health content is evidence based and in line with PI&C messaging frameworks
Working in partnership with local and national external stakeholders on campaigns, maintaining strong relationships to ensure success of joint marketing activity
Managing the pre-launch user testing process and overseeing the implementation of campaign optimisation initiatives
Managing the planning, set-up, delivery and analysis of integrated multi-channel campaigns that meet and exceed specific product KPIs
Working alongside the Senior Manager to motivate the Senior Executives and matrix manage specialist Digital Marketing & Delivery teams to deliver activity across channels
Working with digital and data experts from across marketing and the wider organisation to improve communications and better engage our audiences
Managing the implementation of cross-organisational strategic projects that support the wider aims of Cancer Research UK's marketing function.
Managing the continuous testing and analysis of campaigns, spotting opportunities to optimise ongoing activity and make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of future campaigns.
What skills will I need?
Significant experience of translating marketing strategy into tactical delivery plans by channel, audience and budget
Significant experience of planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns that meet campaign KPIs
Strong understanding of end-to-end consumer journeys and the role of different channels in fully integrated campaigns
Relevant experience of managing and motivating agencies to drive maximum value from relationships
Commercially aware with relevant budget management experience
Data-driven with a strong understanding of UX principles and relevant experience of interpreting results and recommending opportunities for optimisation
Proven ability to develop positive working relationships and influence others at all levels
Relevant experience of developing highly effective campaign assets for use across channels
Excellent project management skills including resource and risk management.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focussed team assistant to work with our commercial and visitor experience department, someone with a passion for promoting and supporting Fulham Palace, helping the organisation grow and develop. Reporting to the commercial and visitor experience manager (CVEM) you will support the planning and delivery of public events and filming, support the marketing and promotion of the site and provide administrative support to our retail operations.
