Your new role
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Foster strong working relationships within the People Team and across the organisation.

The Homeless Recovery Worker will lead on the case management of clients and be part of a team that provides accommodation based and community support services to clients to keep them safe and help them achieve their goals. Main Responsibilities: 

• To assess the needs of each client, helping to develop their individual support plan to achieve their goals 

• To produce and regularly review comprehensive client-based risk assessments and manage a caseload of clients on a one-to-one basis  

• To support clients to gain and/or maintain accommodation including supporting clients to pay rent and service charges and to achieve outcomes defined by the service specification 

• Engage with local authorities, health providers and other agencies, creating and maintaining constructive working relationships to maximise the opportunities available to clients 

• Lead on client activities to help them gain practical life skills and encourage their engagement with the running of the service 

• Carry out drop-in sessions at designated locations and encourage and signpost clients to the local community and to resources relevant to their aspirations including education, training, employment activity or volunteering

The Role

About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Team Leader will support the Service Manager and Practice and Development Lead in developing multi agency relationships for the successful implementation of the model and will take a lead role in maintaining these relationships locally to ensure operational success when undertaking assessments to try and ensure the right recommendations for positive requirements are made but also to support the ongoing development of a national delivery model and to support the evaluation of the pilot.

About the role

At Young Lives vs Cancer, we have our own unique role to play in reaching the North Star. We know our strengths and where we can have the most impact to best support children and young people with cancer. Within our new strategy ‘The Time is Now’ we set out four strategic ambitions, the first stating we will continue to be a major service delivery provider: offering high quality, impactful services. We are proud to lead the way in delivering high-level, psychosocial support and accommodation services throughout cancer treatment, end-of-life, and bereavement and we want to ensure our investment in this area is optimised to make sure we always provide the tailored support that children, young people and families need and that our services remain relevant.

You will be joining an established operational leadership team who are committed to continuous service improvement. Service Managers play a key leadership role in the management and development of a region, which is made up of three social work teams located alongside Principal Treatment Centres which are Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield. Your responsibilities will include delivering service standards, and compliance. You will interface with NHS stakeholder colleagues to promote effective governance and multi-disciplinary relationships with a focus on smooth referral pathways. The team meets weekly to discuss management of the overall service-this effectively allows all team members to play an active role. In addition, to your designated region you will have a lead area of responsibility-this will be Deputy Safeguarding Lead. This role works closely with the Head of Safeguarding to ensure effective management of safeguarding across the charity as well as spanning workforce development and the promotion of best practice.

About the role

Sightsavers’ Trusts and Corporate Partnerships team is excited to be expanding its team in response to growing demands and opportunities in the trusts & foundation sector. We are recruiting for two additional Trusts & Foundations Advisors to be key contributors to the development of Sightsavers trusts and foundations programme. They will play a crucial role in the successful recruitment and cultivation of new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing trust and foundation donors primarily based in the UK, U.S and Europe.

In this role, the Advisor will be instrumental in contributing towards the team’s annual income target and supporting additional planned growth in the coming years. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate relationships with a portfolio of key trust and foundation donors for Sightsavers (up to 7-figure funding agreements) via proposals, mailings, reports, telephone or face-to-face meetings as appropriate, and coordinate donor visits, dealing with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees.
• Develop key external and internal relationships and donor engagement activities for the achievement of planned objectives with these donors.
• Research, identify, prioritise, and develop personalised engagement plans and donor strategies to cultivate new trust prospects in targeted global markets. Lead on cultivating relationships with CEOs, Directors, and Trustees, with the aim of establishing additional high-value funding relationships.
• Work proactively across the organisation, including cross-culturally, to coordinate, develop, and deliver a high standard of compelling project proposals and reports ready for submission to donors whilst ensuring excellent grant/contract management to existing donor relationships.
• Actively participate in the networks surrounding trusts and foundations, sharing information, insights, opportunities, and fundraising materials produced.
• Represent Sightsavers and/or support staff delegations at conferences and networks to engage with and cultivate new donor relationships.

• Relevant experience working in the charity sector, ideally in international development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audience Insight Researcher to join the Audience Insight team at Alzheimer's Society on a fixed-term contract. We are looking for an exceptional individual with proven experience in designing, conducting, and delivering qualitative and quantitative ad hoc primary research projects. The focus of this role is on producing clear, insight-led recommendations that support teams across the organisation in making evidence-based decisions.
The Audience Insight team operates as a hybrid internal agency and consultancy, leading transformative market research that shapes strategic direction. Our work spans a wide range of audiences, including supporters, service users and the public, and includes both primary research and analysis of secondary data sources. We also partner with trusted external agencies on key large-scale research initiatives.
All our projects are insight-driven and strategically aligned, providing high-quality consultation rooted in a deep understanding of the needs and priorities of internal stakeholders.
You will:

- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative market research projects.

- Project manage throughout the project lifecycle.
- Determine the appropriate methodology to meet the project objectives, budget & deadlines.
- Design questionnaires and discussion guides.
- Conduct qualitative interviews and moderate group discussions.
- Programme surveys to be conducted with supporters.

- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Lead on the evaluation of data from market research tracking projects.
- Write reports that provide insight and actionable recommendations.
- Present to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues on the Audience Insight team to deliver market research and reporting excellence.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Build relationships with and manage external partners.
- Manage ongoing MR projects.
- Ensure market research conforms with all GDPR, compliance and information governance, as well as the MRS Code of Conduct.

You are:

- Passionate about championing the diverse needs of people affected by dementia.
- Proficient in designing, conducting, and analysing both qualitative and quantitative market research.
- An experienced qualitative moderator, confident in facilitating engaging discussions.
- Skilled at producing insightful, story-led reports that communicate findings.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Proficient in the MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Experienced in survey programming tools (e.g., Forsta, SmartSurveys) – desirable.

The Head of Operations and Projects will oversee the infrastructure of our charity. This position will involve fostering a motivated and engaged volunteer base, strategic oversight of our BUBR Africa initiative and conducting impact analysis of our activations. Job Summary
Under its current 5-year strategy (2021 – 2025), ‘Choosing Peace in times of fear & division’, Place for Hope has successfully grown and diversified its partnerships, funding and volunteer team. This has enabled us to grow our reach and impact in equipping people and faith communities to be peacemakers working towards a more peaceful and reconciled world. 

The new Director of Place for Hope will continue to develop Place for Hope as they work with Trustees, Staff and Volunteers to shape and finalise the next 5-year strategy that ensures Place for Hope is fit for purpose in a changing UK landscape for charities and faith communities. They will provide leadership and to be responsible for the overall management and administration of the charity within the strategic and accountability frameworks agreed by the Board of Trustees. 

Previous experience essential to the role includes: values-based leadership; peace, conflict transformation and/or mediation; collaborating and communicating effectively with different Christian denominations and other faiths, excellent organisational and communication skills, and experience in income generation (including through building diverse partnerships).The ideal candidate would also have an interest in supporting faith communities to transform conflict, navigate change well and be able to support an internal CPD programme and culture of reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Programme Leadership: You will own and continuously evolve the structure, content, and delivery of the Incubator programme.
• Curriculum Development: You will curate and coordinate a world-class curriculum, including workshops, expert talks, and networking events.
• Startup Support: You will work hands-on with leading startups in the food tech space, coaching and supporting them during and after the programme on strategy, fundraising, and go-to-market topics.
• Impact & Knowledge Management: You will build and manage knowledge-sharing systems, KPIs, and programme impact tracking.
• Community Building: You will expand our global mentor network and stakeholder community.
• Startup Selection: You will contribute to the selection process of startups in close collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Business, Economics, Innovation, Food Tech, or Biotechnology - or bring equivalent hands-on experience.
• You have 1-2+ years of experience in programme or project management, ideally within a startup incubator, accelerator, or entrepreneurship support organisation.
• You have a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and the food innovation landscape.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to advise senior leadership

• Ability to build and manage funder relationships
