The Welcome Directory is a multi-faith organisation dedicated to supporting the successful resettlement of prison leavers across England and Wales. We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency.
Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.
The role will include:
Leading on operational projects, including:
- Faith community engagement
- Processing faith/ belief community registrations and maintaining records
- Approaching existing and prospective faith/ belief communities, including follow up to the annual survey and periodical team campaigns
- Assisting with the production of the annual physical directory
- Co-ordinating the annual Affiliates Scheme
- Researching new initiatives or solutions
Supporting events, including:
- Support in the administration of the online Prisons Awareness Course and other webinar events, including technical support
- Planning bi-annual team days and any one-off events, in consultation with the Project Manager
- Planning bi-annual team campaign periods, in consultation with the Project Manager and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
- Preparing resources and/or PowerPoint presentations and booking logistics, in consultation with the Project Manager and the Communications & Fundraising Officer
Leading on administration, including:
- Answering phone, email, and letter enquiries
- Purchasing of supplies and dispatch of resources

We’re looking for a Carer Assessment Service Manager to lead our countywide team in delivering statutory and preventative assessments in line with the Care Act 2014. You’ll provide leadership and day-to-day support to your team, oversee assessment allocations, and manage referrals through our internal CRM and West Sussex County Council’s systems.
You’ll also deliver staff supervisions, attend management and partner meetings, contribute to training, and support service development projects. A key part of the role involves quality assurance, trend analysis, report writing for senior leaders and commissioners, and managing assessment processes and budgets. You’ll stay up to date with Care Act legislation, ensure staff are trained accordingly, and take part in the duty manager rota to provide out-of-hours support and safeguard service continuity.

Job Role

- Work with Heads of Service to grow and develop services including identifying gaps, managing risks and demand, proactively seeking opportunities, increasing the digital offer and supporting funding bids to respond to changing needs.
- Develop, deliver and monitor the Carer Assessment Team delivery plan, aligning to CSWS’s strategy ensuring all KPIs are met and a high-quality service is provided to carers.
- Be a proactive member of the Operational Managers Team to develop services, promoting collaboration with your teams, build internal relationships and encourage team to share good practice and work collaboratively with the wider staff group.

What's the role about?
You’ll be joining the RSPB England Education, Families and Youth team to support our regional partnerships with Girlguiding. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and delivery of our key project outputs.
Key tasks:
- Design and deliver youth-focused nature engagement activities, including co-creating a nature and climate youth action toolkit and launching a Youth Nature Ambassador Network for members aged 10-18 to shape initiatives and lead their own projects.
- Design and deliver 'train the trainer' sessions to empower adult and young leaders in youth organisations, to embed nature and climate action into their core programming as well as driving the changes they are most passionate about.

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Estates & Maintenance Manager to ensure The Royal Homes Estate is a safe, efficient and well-maintained environment for the benefit of residents at Queens Alexandra Court. To carry out this role successfully you will have recognised skills in the maintenance/building trade and have an understanding of Health & Safety requirements and regulations.
