An exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Fundraising Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF); the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity. 

We are seeking an outstanding corporate fundraising professional to join our Fundraising Development team. This is a key role for the organisation, proactively leading on new business; delivering mid and high-value partnerships and maintaining a healthy and active pipeline of new prospects to support the long-term sustainability of our work. The successful candidate will develop compelling proposals and pitches to build new relationships and provide excellent stewardship for existing corporate partners. Main Purpose of Job

The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.

The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.

The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.

Grounded in youth work values, the coordinator will offer mentoring, support, and guidance to help young people navigate their next steps, overcome barriers, and access the right pathway for their goals.

Responsibilities

Event Planning and programme delivery

• Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
• Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
• Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.

• Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
• Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.

Youth Engagement and support

• Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
• Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
• Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.
• Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately and within allocated time scales including handling personal data, managing expenses, safeguarding reporting, and risk assessments.
• Achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Manager, or partner organisation/ funder and regularly provide reports and monitoring information.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

• Lead and support casual staff to deliver high quality programmes, providing regular feedback and embedding reflective practice.
• Support the Senior Manager in recruitment, training, and supervision of casual delivery staff.
• Attend regular supervision sessions, team & organisation meetings, and complete compulsory training to enable all duties to be carried out effectively.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager when appropriate. Fulfil any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Manager
• Work closely with the Senior Manager, Coordinators, Youth Workers, Coaches and programme partners to support the young people on the programmes ensuring a united approach.

Qualifications and experience

1. Graduate degree level and or/ IAG Level 2 / Event Management and/or strong relevant experience (youth work, educational, community based, events, careers).
2. Demonstrable experience (at least 2 years) of working with young people and children to inspire, motivate and support them to positively engage in new opportunities and develop new skills.
3. Experience of leading, planning and delivering high-quality events and programmes for large groups (50/100+).
4. Experience and/or good knowledge of working in partnership with local businesses/ professional partners, schools, colleges, and universities, to develop employability and careers pathways initiatives.
5. Experience of effectively engaging young people from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented groups (women and girls, ethnic minorities) and/ or, vulnerable groups (e.g. homeless, young carer, etc), and/ or those facing barriers to education, employment, or training.
6. A Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete training.

About the Role

Sense is recruiting for a Supporter Services Assistant to join our fantastic Engagement Team in Kings Cross, London on a hybrid basis.  

The successful applicant will play vital part in the Engagement Department and the charity as a whole – it makes sure that supporters have an outstanding experience of supporting Sense and know how much they are valued. Your daily task’s are varied with a mixture of in-and-outbound calling, combined with essential administrative tasks like income processing or capturing important information about Sense’s supporters and their motivations to support the charity.  

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Accurately processing fundraising income, including cheques and cash, vouchers (CAF, KKL) direct debits, payroll giving and from online donation platforms (Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, Facebook) within agreed timescales and in line with provided procedures.
• Create or amend supporter records on Sense’s Raisers Edge database, ensuring that all interactions between charity and supporter etc are recorded accurately and in line with best practice GDPR.
• Identifying opportunities for supporters to further engage with Sense and promoting them as appropriate to help deliver Fundraising department targets (such as sharing a supporter story with our Comms team).
• Work with other fundraising teams to ensure relationships with supporters are managed effectively, both by responding to enquiries promptly and by working to the agreed supporter communications plan. There is also the expectation to attend other teams’ meetings i.e. Community, Events, Philanthropy to understand what activity is happening across the charity. 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience of working in a customer or supporter service environment

• Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or similar Customer Relationship Management database

The RSPB is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Finance Systems Replacement project, a Board priority and a major digital change project. The Finance Systems Replacement project seeks to replace several systems that are over 20 years old.

The RSPB is one of the UK’s most respected conservation charities for the conservation of birds and nature. This role will ensure that Finance requirements are translated and configured correctly in our new finance system. Through Technical Workshops with our new provider, you will assist in translating requirements and documenting our new ways of working. You will assist in capturing requirements for the data migration and ensuring accuracy of the data migrated.

To capture these requirements and work effectively with the Finance and DT Teams regular travel will be required to The Lodge. This will be initially fortnightly on Thursdays but may increase based on workshop deliverables. The role will be mainly home based with regular Teams catch-ups with the wider Project Team.

Key Duties

Main Purpose of the Role

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime. Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.

As the post holder you will be responsible for delivering our front-line work to young people, parents and other adults (professionals). You will work in schools and in community settings across London to generate impact for young people using Khulisa’s trauma-informed approach. This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel regularly to various locations in London as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role, to deliver aspects of the programme, and to engage with other stakeholders and colleagues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Programme Delivery:

· Facilitate the delivery of sessions in our flagship Face It programme and modular workshops to young people, our Nurturing Connections programme for parents and carers, and our trauma training for professionals.

· Facilitate delivery to a high standard in all settings (schools, youth services, and community spaces), ensuring that you are always taking a trauma informed approach.

· Facilitate various youth participation workshops, co-delivering with young people as much as practicable.

The England Project Management Team manage all sorts of projects, from species recovery at a landscape scale to infrastructure repairs and commercial developments.
