ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Officer for Dartmoor, you will deliver the Bike It Moor project, which forms part of the Dartmoor’s Dynamic Landscapes (DDL) programme. You will work in partnership and collaboration with other the DDL partners, who are also delivering projects as part of DDL, to accomplish shared objectives and targets. The DDL programme is led by Dartmoor National Park Authority (DNPA) and made possible by a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we are able to offer this exciting new role.
You will engage and work with selected schools and their wider communities in the project areas, developing and delivering fun, engaging and innovative activities and events. These will be inclusive and promote and enable all forms of active travel (walking, cycling, scooting and wheeling) to school.
You will plan and deliver practical skills (like cycle and scooter skills sessions, bike maintenance and led walks and rides), information events (such as assemblies, drop-in sessions, pop up stands), competitions, incentive programmes and classroom sessions. You will also plan and deliver day and overnight cycling and walking experiences, giving pupils the opportunity to explore and enjoy the local green landscape, immerse pupils in the natural heritage of the area.
You will report directly to the local Project Manager and will recruit, train and support local volunteers on the project, as well as engaging with project officers across the South region and the UK.
Due to the nature of the role, a full DBS is required to be completed by the successful person. Candidates should be based within the geographical area with regular travel expected.
ABOUT YOU
You should have experience of working with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds and be able to adapt your approach to meet varying needs. You must demonstrate evidence of planning and delivering engaging and interactive group workshops and activity sessions, as well as experience of events planning.
You will have experience of delivering successful behaviour change projects, ideally with a physical activity focus, and have an understanding of community based or environmental projects.
You will be a skilled communicator, with the ability to connect with different audiences ranging from children, parents, school staff and the wider community.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join ATLEU, a leading anti-trafficking and human rights charity. We are looking for an inclusive, creative, talented facilitator, with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to be our Participation Manager.
Working closely with our Policy Manager and People and Inclusion Manager this individual will develop and lead ATLEU’s work with survivors, helping to facilitate their participation and activism. This is part of a programme to maximise the influence and participation of people with lived experience within ATLEU.
The Participation Manager will facilitate survivors of trafficking to use their experiences to support the development of ATLEU’s work and services and to improve policy and practice across the anti-trafficking and legal advice sectors. Working with group members, this individual will be responsible for supporting the expansion of the group (The Changemakers) and the remit of ATLEU’s participation work from January 2026 when the current projects come to a close, ensuring new members are inducted and supported to engage and lead in future projects. The overall aim of the participation and activism work is to integrate survivors at all levels within ATLEU, as well as creating a project that offers different levels of engagement, depending on the interests and capacity of individual group members.
The Participation Manager is a key member of the Rise and Lead project team, which is a groundbreaking new employment pathways project in partnership with Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) and Voice of Domestic Workers for those with experience of human trafficking and migration.
The Participation Manager will be managed by the Policy Manager and will also work closely with the Rise and Lead Project Manager and draw on the experience of our anti-trafficking legal team. The successful candidate will have direct experience of working with vulnerable individuals, ideally survivors of trafficking, a strong understanding of the challenges survivors face and be committed to shifting power to people with lived experience. They will have a flexible approach and understand what empowerment means in its truest sense, allowing the structure of the work to be led by the needs of the group rather than with a predetermined or fixed idea of what this will look like.

Legal advice is an essential component in obtaining the support, safety and redress that survivors need to move forward, recover and re-integrate. ATLEU works intensively with survivors over several years often assisting with multiple matters, helping to regularise their immigration status, obtain identification as a victim of trafficking, access treatment, support and appropriate housing, and recover compensation.
We work in partnership with frontline organisations and advisers to improve the quality and availability of support and advice available to survivors of trafficking throughout the UK. Each year ATLEU advises and trains hundreds of professionals who work with survivors of trafficking.
We seek to capture and share knowledge and insights gained from our casework, second-tier advice, training and research to inform our future work, support test cases and influence law and policy.

Although just a small team, ATLEU’s work has led to significant changes in law and policy. Since we were established in 2013, we have led the way in ensuring that survivors of trafficking have access to free, independent legal advice by enabling access to legal aid, across the range of issues survivors experience. For example, our litigation against the Legal Aid Agency led to their concession that legal aid provision was insufficient for victims of trafficking and an increase in the number of trafficking compensation cases that legal aid providers were contractually able to assist with each year (from 5 up to 100). Following litigation on behalf of our client LL, the Legal Aid Agency agreed that victims of trafficking were legally entitled to free immigration advice on applying for leave to remain in the UK on the basis of their trafficking experiences and publicised this entitlement.
ATLEU is recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the London Legal Support Trust and was awarded both the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Award and the Marsh Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Fight Against Modern Slavery Legal Award in 2016. In 2019 ATLEU was nominated for a Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Award in the access to justice through IT category for ATHUB, its online legal information resource for professionals working with survivors of trafficking.

Salary Band: £31,374 – £37,772 pro rata per year. Starting salary will depend on the level of candidate’s experience

Objectives of the post

Main Responsibilities
Strategy development
1. Using the framework of ATLEU’s 5-year strategic plan, develop ATLEU’s participation strategy creating an annual plan to deliver on our organisational vision.
2. Develop and maintain positive relationships across ATLEU’s team staying up to date with different areas of organisational work in order to create opportunities for collaboration and coproduction with the Changemakers, finding flexible and creative ways to integrate new opportunities into the annual plan.
Developing ATLEU’s Changemakers group
3. Recruit and induct people with lived experience of trafficking to be active participants in the Changemakers.
4. To facilitate meetings of the Changemakers ensuring activities are accessible and inclusive for all participants.
5. To secure opportunities for skills and knowledge development through internal and external training.
6. Conduct needs assessments to identify safeguarding, support needs and development goals and provide practical and emotional support where required.
7. Nurturing the wellbeing and solidarity of the group, providing individual pastoral support, coordinating reflective practice sessions and group activities.
8. Review, adapt, and agree terms of reference and foundational values with the group.
9. To manage the annual lived experience budget.
Building the power of survivors within ATLEU
10. To be an effective liaison between the group and the Director, trustees and wider staff team.
11. Understanding how ATLEU works as an organisation and its key activities and facilitating regular communication between Changemakers and ATLEU’s people.
12. Create opportunities for collaboration, co-creation and leadership for ATLEU’s Changemakers members.
13. Identifying potential opportunities for Changemakers to take on paid roles within the organisation, defining the scope of the role, recruitment/ selection of individuals for the roles, and supporting individuals to gain experience of working independently (eg. peer research training development, training delivery).
14. To take a creative and flexible approach to working with the group, to understand their priorities and goals and find ways to steer and adapt their ideas so that they can be delivered within an organisational context.
15. Work with ATLEU’s Director, Head of Operations and People and Inclusion Manager to create pathways for people with lived experience of trafficking to participate in ATLEU’s governance and decision-making, including at trustee board level and development of funding proposals.
16. Support the delivery of ATLEU’s Rise and Lead Fellowship project helping to create an employment pathway for people with lived experience of human trafficking and migration in the advice and anti-trafficking sector.
17. Support the Rise and Lead Project Manager with the development of a bespoke inclusive recruitment programme and the delivery of the training fellowship, and the project monitoring and evaluation and dissemination of learning.
Coproduction with the Changemakers
18. Working with ATLEU’s Changemakers to act as agents of change, to influence external stakeholders (e.g. anti-trafficking organisations, policy makers, parliamentarians, media) and share their expertise, whilst ensuring the necessary safeguarding is in place.

As Operations Manager, working closely with the CEO, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of organisation across our 2 main premises and in other community venues. PURPOSE OF POSITION
This is a critical operational leadership role that is responsible for the operation of the
organisation’s supported accommodation services.
Providing operational leadership to team managers and ensuring compliance with
organisational, contractual, local authority and legal regulations and the quality of
services is pushed to the highest possible standards; ensuring excellent outcomes for
residents and a positive and high performing working environment for teams.
This role will also be accountable for the development of excellent relationships with
external partners, commissioners, and other key stakeholders for support services in
the organisation.
You will be a key member of the charity's Extended Leadership team
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service Delivery
• Lead in setting organisational standards and performance targets across the
support and resident services teams that reflect contractual requirements and
organisational standards.
• Actively promote and develop person centred practices based on a trauma
informed approach and psychologically informed environment to working with
residents with high support needs and challenging behaviour.
• Be accountable for the operational performance of the services, allocating
resources strategically to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved
and that action plans are in place where required to improve service
performance.
• Remodelling to promote accountability and co-production approaches with
residents.
• Work with the Head of Building & Facilities to ensure your teams put health &
safety procedures into practice to create a safe environment for our residents

Stakeholder Management

Responsibilities
The employee will provide day-to-day support to the Ambassadors team. In this role, Ambassador Community Coordinator will:
- Participate in the implementation of a “white glove” strategy aimed at retaining and engaging a broad and sustainable base of VVIP contacts while strengthening their sense of belonging to the Ambassadors community.

About Trade
Trade Sexual Health (Trade for short) is a small health and wellbeing charity based in Leicester. We currently have eight staff and more than 40 volunteers.
Trade began as a grassroots gay community response to HIV in Leicester in the late 1980s. Throughout the 1990s, Trade worked creatively to spread information about sexual health and HIV prevention to gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in the city (GBMSM).
Trade has been a registered charity since 2000. Over the last 25 years, our core work has focused on improving the sexual health of gay and bisexual men across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We have always taken a holistic approach to understanding and addressing the range of issues that might impact gay and bisexual men’s ability to look after their sexual health. As a result, we started a counselling service – Approach Counselling – to support community members in improving their mental wellbeing.
We now draw on this experience to tackle wider health inequalities related to sexual health and HIV, and to provide peer support for anyone living with HIV in the areas where we work. For a small charity, Trade has always ‘punched above its weight’ and we have a national profile for the innovative sexual health work we do.
We currently hold contracts to deliver sexual health promotion and HIV prevention outreach in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to LGBTQ+ people, asylum seekers, and a range of racialised communities that experience significant inequalities in relation to their sexual health.
We have a history of providing peer support to people living with HIV, and this is now becoming a growing strand of our work. This post is central to the delivery of HIV Peer Support in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (and builds on our experience of delivering similar services in Northamptonshire).
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver first-line peer support to people living with HIV, of all genders and backgrounds, in Leicestershire. The postholder will be based at the Trade offices in central Leicester and will work closely with clinical staff at the Jarvis Clinic at Leicester Royal Infirmary. They will ensure that people who have been recently diagnosed, are struggling with their diagnosis, or are re-engaging with HIV care feel supported and have the information they need to live well and thrive with HIV.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), bringing personal knowledge and experience to the role.
- Collaborate with a small group of volunteer peer mentors to support people living with HIV.
- Assist in recruiting new volunteers and ensure patients needing ongoing peer mentoring are matched with suitable mentors.
- Support individuals in developing self-management strategies, addressing stigma, reducing social isolation, and improving wellbeing.

The Women’s Budget Group (WBG) is the UK’s leading feminist economics think tank, providing evidence on women’s economic position and proposing policy alternatives for a gender-equal economy.
You will produce research analysis on women's economic circumstances, helping us to translate complex ideas into policy recommendations for a more gender-equal economy.

About Migrateful
Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.
Our chefs come from diverse backgrounds, often shaped by displacement, modern slavery, or gender-based violence. Through our programme, they train to lead cookery classes for the public and corporate groups, helping them build confidence, improve English skills, and gain meaningful work experience.
Since 2017, we’ve supported over 110 chefs to deliver 5,000+ classes to 55,000 participants—creating more than 30,000 hours of purposeful employment and community connection.
About the Role
The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations.
You’ll play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records.
Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.
A key deliverable of this role is overseeing our invoicing process. You’ll be responsible for bi-weekly checks to ensure timely and accurate payments to our cookery class hosts (Facilitators) and teachers (Chefs). You’ll also support improvements that help us better track the real cost of our classes.

This role would suit a proactive, organised, collaborative individual who enjoys variety in their work. You’ll need to be confident using systems, have a keen eye for detail, and take satisfaction in improving processes.
Essential
- Experience working in an operations, administrative or coordination role
- Good attention to detail particularly in handling data, documents and financial information
- Confident engaging with a wide range of people from staff, freelancers and customers
- Ability to work independently and proactively, using initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Confident user of IT systems, particularly Google Workspace and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Willingness to undertake reasonable responsibilities beyond the scope of the job description
Desirable
- Experience creating, updating, and maintaining user guides and training materials
- Willingness to provide occasional out-of-hours support
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures, or possession of a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 Food Hygiene)
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing
- Perform bi-weekly invoice checks and capture these on Salesforce
- Support the continuous improvement of invoicing systems
Support Cookery Class Hosts (Facilitators)
- Coordinate the periodic recruitment and onboarding of new Facilitators
- Update and improve Facilitator user guides and training materials
- Maintain regular communication with Facilitators, including announcements and process updates
- Carry out in-class observations and provide constructive feedback to Facilitators
- Provide out-of-hours remote support for Facilitator
- Share and implement improvements based on Facilitator feedback and survey results
Volunteer Coordination
- Respond to volunteer queries and troubleshoot the Volunteer Portal
- Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for all cookery classes
- Create supporting material to enhance the experience of volunteers in classes
General Operations Administration
- Maintain up-to-date operational records (e.g. DBS checks, risk assessments, food hygiene certificates)
- Complete ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. equipment inventories, printing and laminating recipes)
- Support the implementation of operational policies across venues and staff
Cover and Additional Support
- Provide occasional out of-hours support to facilitators
- Willing to support the Operations team during periods of annual leave to ensure continuity of work
Systems and Process Improvement
- Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes, including support for Salesforce streamlining
- Office based admin e.g. purchasing office supplies, tracking equipment
- Support onboarding and off boarding of staff members
This is a hybrid role that requires you to work from our HQ office in Farringdon, London four days a week. Please note that you may be required to attend classes or other events outside your usual working hours. In these instances, you will be given advance notice and can claim time off in lieu (TOIL) during the week.
