We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. About The Role:

At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team.
The Birmingham Street Navigator Service works with Birmingham citizens (single adults and/or couples 25 years old or above) with accommodation that are outdoors engaging in ‘street activity’ e.g. rough sleeping, begging, street drinking/drug using and other ‘social activities.
Street Navigators will offer intensive, wraparound support to help citizens back into their accommodation, reducing their level of street-based activity and associated anti-social behaviour, with the overall aim of reintegrating citizens into their local communities and reducing their reliance on the streets.
Street Navigators will recognise that citizens may present with a range of complexities and could be living with traumas that make engagement with ‘traditional’ and ‘mainstream’ services difficult. This requires Street Navigators to provide a trauma-informed, person-centred and relational approach to engagement and the ongoing support offer to the citizen as a means of developing trust and confidence with the service, and to ensure short and longer term needs are met.
Street Navigators will work in a multi-agency network including alongside outreach services, Community Safety teams, local BID teams, commissioned/none-commissioned accommodation providers, West Midlands Police and British Transport Police. Street Navigators will also support citizens to access relevant support agencies when ready. This could include health care, substance misuse services, local community services and DWP.
It is important that the service is available to our citizens when it is needed. Therefore, work may be required outside of the conventional working week, and being included in a rota of duties, to ensure that service delivery is available when needed by citizens, including evenings, weekends and on bank holidays, may be expected.

Supporting a wide range of people - from those who are looking for general information about treatment or care, to those who need more detailed support from the point of diagnosis, you will be passionate about improving the lives of those affected by a brain tumour. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide specialist emotional and practical support and information to people affected by brain tumours, their friends, families and carers through a variety of solutions including phone, email, webchat, online, social media plus new evolving channels
- Provide high quality information which reflects the most up to date research, clinical information and treatments, in a way people can understand. Conducting the research yourself and adapting your communication to suit the person you are supporting is key
- Offer coaching guidance to empower individuals, helping them to achieve the appropriate next steps
- Work in conjunction with the Volunteer Development Manager to recruit, train and manage volunteers who assist in delivering support services
- Lead on aspects of cross team projects and develop new resources that meet our community’s needs, while collaborating with other teams and external partners
- Identify gaps in knowledge across the Support Team and identify possible training areas
- Developing information for our website and other resources, for example, writing initial drafts and reviewing information
- Plan and facilitate online and in person events for the brain tumour community, including online meet ups for young adults
- Day to day management of our online peer support platforms, for example our Facebook groups for Young Adults affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.
- Provide support to our Young Ambassadors through coordinating activities and check ins, facilitating meetings, and enabling meaningful input into our Young Adults Service.
- Update and maintain accurate contact information on the CRM database, producing data reports as required to evidence the impact and reach of our support services
- Identify, manage and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with The Charity guidelines
- Review day to day tasks across the Support Team

The Role
The Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the effective delivery of HTB's Evangelism & Mobilisation events and programmes, including Sunday Services, Events Christmas, Easter, HTB Alpha, Connect Groups, Teams, Prayer Ministry training, Workplaced and HTB Focus. This role ensures all operational, administrative, and logistical elements are well-managed and enables consistent implementation and excellent output across any of our 6 London sites (BR, OS, DW, CG, QG, EC).
The Key Responsibilities
The candidate must be able and willing to work evenings and weekends to deliver events,
courses, Sunday services and other ad hoc operational requirements as and when required.
Listed below are the key elements that the role holder will be accountable for delivering:
Operational & Administrative Support
• Plan and coordinate the logistical and operational elements for all Evangelism & Mobilisation events, services and initiatives
• Manage departmental inboxes and calendars, including meeting scheduling, inquiry responses, and follow-ups.
• Manage external bookings professionally.
• Onboard new suppliers, caterers, team and congregation.
• Maintain and update department systems such as project trackers, schedules, day plans and service and events databases.
• Support the continuous improvement of workflows and administrative systems, suggesting efficiencies where appropriate.
• Ensure projects, services and events adhere to safeguarding, legal, GDPR, insurance, and health & safety requirements and following relevant processes
• Process invoices, expenses, and credit card submissions accurately and on time.
• Oversee departmental tools and resources including software, hardware, and operational records—ensuring everything is up to date and functional.
• Procure equipment, stationery, and other supplies required for programme delivery.
• Organise and receive weekly deliveries and manage supplier relationships with catering suppliers and wholesalers
Programme & Project Coordination
• Support the delivery of Evangelism & Mobilisation events, services and projects through effective logistical planning and coordination.
• Track expenses and assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Organise internal and external venue bookings, hospitality and catering, technical equipment, and other logistical requirements.
• Create and manage project plans, checklists, and updates; support the team in meeting key milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate the creation and delivery of relevant media, comms and programme content materials for our services and events
• Facilitate clear, timely communication across the department and with other teams
• Coordinate department logistics for offsite events such as Focus and the Leadership Conference.
• Maintain accurate service and events records using church management systems such as ChurchSuite.
• Collaborate with Operations Coordinators, Events Coordinators and Managers across departments as needed.
• Support the mobilisation of the wider congregation by creating opportunities for involvement in department activities.
The Right Candidate
• Proven Coordination Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating projects and operational tasks, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Passion for Sunday Services and Church events: Deeply committed to supporting, church events, services and ministries
• Excellent Communicator: Confident and professional in both written and verbal communication; able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels.
• Strong Organisational Skills: Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage a busy schedule, and remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Effective Problem Solver: Takes a proactive and logical approach to identifying challenges and offering clear, actionable solutions.
• Demonstrate One Team Mentality: Supporting the whole team with running courses, events and services on site which may include working evening Alpha, ad hoc Sundays, and special events such as Christmas, Easter and others as and when required

The Role
Arne is not only a brilliant Dorset bird watching spot, it’s also one of the few remaining places where all six of the UK’s native reptiles can be found. Situated on Poole Harbour and within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this Dorset nature reserve is a thriving visitor haven attracting people of all walks of life; landscapes don’t get much more breathtaking than Arne. It’s a rich patchwork of habitats, home to a huge array of wildlife. Explore wide-open heathlands where reptiles roam, as well as ancient oak woodland humming with bird song, farm fields where Sika Deer stags rut and wetlands where Spoonbills wade. Still want more? How about discovering wading birds among the mudflats, watching Dartford Warblers darting about in the scrub, and spotting seals from the shoreline.
We carefully manage Arne's unique mix of habitats to create the ideal conditions for wildlife to thrive. As a threatened habitat in the UK, our lowland heath is of particular importance and many rare birds including Dartford Warblers, Woodlarks and Nightjars call it home. But it’s not just birds - Smooth Snakes, Silver-studded Blue Butterflies, Ladybird Spiders and Yellow Centaury (a rare heathland plant) can also be found at Arne.
