Your first priority will be to oversee delivery of the Department for Education national Peer Support Service contract in England. You will lead the development of our hub and spoke model, with an enhanced offer of national resources and support together with a continued focus on on-the-ground support for kinship carers to set up and sustain a network of peer support groups. You will ensure a collaborative approach with services, alignment with national and local campaigning activity, and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to support kinship carer reach and engagement with our community offer.
We’re taking an integrated approach to our services, so you’ll collaborate well across teams to ensure that support groups and their leaders have easy access to high quality advice, information and training. Please note that all answers will be viewed anonymously by reviewers and CVs will not be viewed until after this sift has happened. This is the first opportunity to demonstrate your experience and to stand out in the recruitment process. Reviewers will not see all your answers together until the end and will be marking on the strength of the response to each question. You will have max 250 words per answer.

1. Outline why you want to work at Kinship in this role, and how your values align to the Kinship ones? Please include a bit about your experience in this section.
2. Please give one example of when you have had to develop from scratch OR innovate a national service. Please include what the service budget was, what you did and what the outcome was.

ABOUT US
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. We want to see a world where trees and woods thrive for people and nature. The Trust engages and inspires people to make a difference in tackling the nature and climate crises, helping protect, restore and create our vital woods and trees.
THE ROLE
The Engagement and Communications Officer (ECO) is part of an exciting new ‘Building Capacity Project’ which seeks to develop the skills and capacity of communities on the west coast of Scotland to deliver the aims of the Alliance for Scotland’s Rainforest i.e. protect and restore Scotland’s globally important temperate rainforest. The Woodland Trust has secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for this project's initial two-year ‘development’ phase.
The ECO will support the Project Development Manager, project team members and local staff working in three landscape-scale project ‘hubs’ (in Argyll, Morvern and Torridon). The role will provide opportunities for audiences to connect with Scotland’s rainforest and build the skills and capacity needed to sustainably restore it. This involves working with communities, organisations and specialists to a) raise awareness of Scotland’s rainforest, b) facilitate volunteering, on-the-job training and the sharing of learning about how to restore it, and c) inspire a long-term commitment to look after it.
The ECO will plan and deliver communications and engagement activities during the project's development phase, and support the Project Development Manager to create a comprehensive activity plan for the delivery phase. This includes surveying audiences to benchmark attitudes; managing a launch event; using existing (or establishing new) local and regional communication channels to reach audiences and share progress; co-developing with partners a series of meaningful engagement opportunities; supporting project ‘hubs’ to develop their own communications and engagement plans and monitoring the impact of project activities.
This is an 18-month fixed-term position. Should our funding bid for the subsequent five-year ‘delivery’ phase be successful, we hope the ECO will remain in post to support the delivery of these plans.

We want you to be able to role model our values; ‘Grow Together’, ‘Focus’, ‘Make it Count’ and ‘Explore’ to ensure each of us plays our part in helping to protect, restore and create our woods and trees.
WHAT TO EXPECT BY JOINING A TEAM AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE

About The University of Manchester
The University of Manchester is renowned for its bold focus on social responsibility, its world-class research and teaching, and its outstanding innovation. Right now is Manchester's time to shine.
This year, they are preparing to launch a major philanthropic campaign, increasing fundraising, celebrating volunteering and strengthening reputation, coinciding with and stretching beyond their 200th anniversary year.
To make that happen, we're looking for an experienced campaign communications lead, coordinating communications experts across the University to inspire people. The campaign is expected to launch in the next academic year and run for several years.
About the role
This is an incredibly exciting and unique opportunity to own and develop the campaign communications strategy. Informed by collaboration with a creative agency, you'll take the lead on in-house team engagement, including coordinating leadership and executive sub-groups. Playing a senior role on various committees, you'll actively contribute to the campaign's overall strategic direction, delivery and success.
Messaging will be targeted to secure active participation from key audiences and the successful achievement of campaign objectives, particularly the provisional fundraising target of £300 million. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues to galvanize philanthropic support and increase major donations. The full campaign team comprises almost 100 staff, so you'll need to be ready to work at scale in a complex, global organisation.
In this brand new role, you'll take charge of the campaign identity and narrative, ensuring it evolves and is successfully implemented. It will require sensitive and nuanced consultation and negotiation with senior leadership and senior supporters to secure buy-in and ownership.
About you
You're a senior communications professional with longstanding experience of fundraising and reputation-raising campaigns.
You get under the skin of a campaign when it comes to brand, marketing collateral and complex stakeholder relations.
You've got exceptional presentation and influencing skills and are adept at gaining the consensus needed to drive projects forward in large, complex organisations.
Ideally, you'll already have experience of fundraising and working on engagement campaigns with donors and philanthropists, or at least be able to demonstrate relevant transferable skills around income generation and behaviour-change campaigns with compelling success stories.
If you're as excited by this opportunity as we are, then we'd love hear from you. Please send a copy of your profile or CV to Alice Wood at Charity People as the first step.
Deadline: 9am on Thursday 23rd May

We are searching for a new strategic leader at Bloody Good Period. The Head of Communications and Campaigns will play a pivotal and strategic role in delivering creative and effective campaigns and comms that align with our wider influencing work, maximising opportunities to influence change as we approach a General Election, and beyond.

We are also dialling up the activist movement quality of our work, building on strong foundations in terms of our brand, reputation and relationships. We think menstrual equity is a bedrock of renewing and improving the way the UK works, and the way we campaign for that and communicate our thoughts and demands will always be fundamental to our success in achieving our mission.
The Head of Communications and Campaigns will be working across the organisation, and crucially alongside our Experts by Experience forum, strengthening our communication strategy whilst developing and implementing an ambitious campaign strategy to engage and mobilise both existing and new supporters.

We offer a specific leadership and development programme for BPOC members of the team to develop their careers within the social justice space, and a wellbeing fund to support every team member. We work hard and deliver, but we do not overwork. We enjoy our work and take pride in it.
We strongly encourage applications from Black and People of Colour, and from those who have lived experience of the issues on which we work, namely period poverty, and/or experience of refugee or asylum-seeker status.
While the successful candidate will be selected purely on merit, in the event of a tie between two candidates with equal suitability, we may select a candidate with lived experience of the issues we are seeking to address through our work.
We recognise that many potential candidates who bring the voice and lived experience that we need, may have had less opportunity to develop a track record in these roles. Bloody Good Period prioritises the development needs of everyone who works with us, including in this role.
