In this role, you will be managed by Emily Thomas. A fundraiser for over fifteen years, Emily has worked at charities including Brooke, National Trust and the Wildlife Trust. Prior to joining ClientEarth in 2018, Emily was part of the development team at London's Natural History Museum where she worked on the Hintze Hall transformation capital campaign and launch activity. As Associate Director, Philanthropy, Emily manages the global philanthropy team and works alongside external stakeholders and a Development Board to secure income and connections for the organisation.

• Significant fundraising management experience in Asia with demonstrable experience of securing five and six figure, and multi year gifts

• Experience of working in a global team, working across multiple time zones and understanding / experience of working in a matrix style
• Experience of working with senior internal and external stakeholders, to build networks, deliver income and raise organisation profiles
• Ability to represent ClientEarth externally to high value funders and other senior stakeholders.

Corporate Partnerships Manager

Main Purpose

This post will play a leading role in Legacy’s Fundraising Team, developing our corporate fundraising capabilities and growing this income stream with a six-figure sum annual fundraising target.

Croydon Youth Zone, named as Legacy by young people, was opened in September 2019. The Youth Zone is an independent Charity, but we are proud to be part of the growing OnSide Network whereby we have adopted a set of principles that guide our work with young people.

Our universal offer is focussed around a state-of-the-art, multimillion pound facility that is purpose built and remains dedicated to young people. We work with young people aged from 8 – 19 (up to 25 with additional needs) and offer an array of activities for young people to get involved in. We pride ourselves on being open when young people need us the most, during evenings and weekends, and whenever schools are closed.

Partnerships Executive (Interim)

The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in developing CST’s commercial relationships. Their primary responsibility is to secure conference exhibition sales to meet budget targets and manage all aspects of the exhibitor experience from prospecting to on-the-day support, to post-event communications. They also manage listings in the Directory of Services and work closely with the Partnerships Manager to support the prospecting process.

1. Ensure that exhibition sales targets are met for each CST conference.

3. Create and maintain relevant webforms.

4. Provide excellent end-to-end support for exhibitors, including in person at larger conferences to ensure that all exhibitors’ needs are met on the day.

5. Gather feedback from exhibitors on the quality of their experience and report on what worked well and areas for improvement following each event.

6. Maintain and update marketing collateral to support CST’s commercial activities such as brochures, floorplans, briefings and manuals.

7. Cross-promote the Directory of Services to exhibitors along with other opportunities to work with CST where relevant.

8. Manage the sales and onboarding process for the Directory of Services, including overseeing the references, undertaken by a third party, sending out agreements and liaising with the marketing team on the promotion of new suppliers.

Westway Trust are seeking an experienced and confident Team Administrator to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Property Department, playing a key role in ensuring the annual cycle of organisational requirements in terms of administration are well planned, on track and delivered by the relevant part of the team. 

You will be a friendly, motivated and pro-active Administrator who will be highly organised to drive a number of competing work packages. You’ll be comfortable in connecting with colleagues, tenants and key partners and stakeholders on the Westway Trust 23 acres estate, with the ability to listen and gather a range of source material and feed these back into the work of the Property Team.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Head of Property and the Property Managers, including the scheduling of team meetings.
• You will ensure time is set aside by the whole team to meet organisational goals, such as performance reviews, work to achieve the organisation’s annual audit, service charge reconciliation, and contractor reviews.
• Schedule in key team tasks within the peaks and troughs of the range of team activities.
• Initial point of contact for enquiries to the Property team.
• Manage routine office duties such as invoice requests and expenses.
• Upkeep and maintenance of databases.
• Schedule Committee Meetings and attend in the capacity of the minute taker. Work with the team to prepare and collate the papers. 
• You may be asked to organise emails, create presentations, and work within the teams filing system.
• You will receive reports from key team members and ensure they are ready to present through the Governance.
• You will co-ordinate and collage high level data collection provided by others for upward reporting.
• You will ensure key project information regarding estate development is circulated to the lettings and leasing side of the Property Team’s operation. 

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Minimum 5 years’ administration experience working on multiple work streams, in a busy office, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience of designing and delivering high quality, proactive project administration.
• Experience of scheduling and dealing with Committees.
• Proficient IT skills, across Microsoft Office, and willing to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create presentations and other communications.
• Experience of research.
• Experience of creating useful templates to support projects.
• Experience in prioritising competing demands and workloads.
• Experience of team-working and collaboration with an eye for detail.
• You will be assertive, able to use your own initiative and capable of managing upwards with tact.

• Manage relationships and inputs with important stakeholders across the education, political and commercial sectors. Act as the lead policy liaison between Oak and the Department for Education

Based within the People Team, this role will be responsible for delivering an excellent recruitment experience for all candidates and supporting them through the vital first six months of their journey with the Charity. You will manage all recruitment systems, administration, and relationships with external recruiters, while leading improvement projects to ensure we provide the very best onboarding experience possible. Other responsibilities include

People Operations

• To keep all employment records up to date and ensure files are appropriately filed, in particular recruitment and onboarding and process any contract changes promptly.

Recruitment

• Create an interactive and clear recruitment process from advertising to hiring stage, working closely with the wider People team to develop and deliver an excellent recruitment and retention strategy
• To act as a first point of contact for all recruitment enquires and requests received externally or internally, ensuring that these are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with hiring managers on recruitment campaigns including supporting on writing JDs, uploading adverts to the applicant tracking system and various job sites, and liaising with the Marketing & Communications team on placing job adverts on social media platforms.
• Spearhead active recruitment and ‘headhunting’, using tools like LinkedIn, taking responsibility for helping us find the very best talent
• Keep up-to-date records of all recruitment and monitor diversity of applicants and produce frequent reports on interest, candidate experience and diversity, in line with our EDI commitments.
• Shortlist applications for vacancies, where requested and organise all aspects of online and in-person interviews
• Work with hiring managers to develop the best possible interview and assessment tools to ensure we are hiring the right people for the right roles.
• Develop and manage a group of ‘bank staff’ to cover short-term operations vacancies

Onboarding

• Take responsibility for the onboarding of new team members which will include pre-employment checks and all corresponding onboarding activities, offer e-mails, and liaising with line managers regarding induction plans and probations.
• Provide comprehensive in-person inductions for all new starters
• Carry out regular check-ins with new starters during their induction period, supporting them to settle in to their new role and helping them to tackle any challenges, via “stay” interviews and other formal and informal methods
• Working with line managers and new starters to ensure that all probation paperwork and activities (such as mandatory training) are completed on time.
• Reporting any trends or data to the wider People team and working with them to address any concerns, escalating issues to other members of the team as appropriate
• Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews with departing employees, tracking reasons for leaving to inform future recruitment and retention strategies.

Information Systems

• To maintain and accurately update the integrated payroll and employee self-service information system ensuring all new starter files are up to date, inputting information and any changes in a timely manner.
• To prepare the monthly payroll as requested using information stored on the system and ensuring supporting documents are in place for any system and contract changes, working with the People Officer as appropriate.

General
