ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an enthusiastic Careers Adviser to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Careers Team. In this key position, you will work at our Harris Lower Academy Wilsden in Brent Borough, supporting students to make informed, ambitious and aspirational decisions about their futures.

You will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team of advisers, from whom you can gain advice and support. Working closely with your colleagues, you will help shape and deliver a high-impact CEIAG programme.

Whether it’s further education, apprenticeships, traineeships or employment, you’ll play a vital role in guiding students towards the post-16 and post-18 pathways that best match their goals and aspirations. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, where ideas are freely shared, good practice is celebrated, and guidance is always at hand.

Your contribution will be central to raising aspirations, inspiring ambition, and ensuring that every student, regardless of background or ability, is fully aware of the range of opportunities open to them. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

As part of this role, you will:

• Collaborate with Careers Leads across academies to design and implement a high-impact careers education programme aligned with the latest statutory guidance, including the enhanced Gatsby Benchmarks and each academy’s improvement priorities
• Plan and deliver engaging careers assemblies that expand students’ awareness of post-16 and post-18 pathways, alongside other relevant career-related topics
• Provide impartial, tailored career guidance through one-to-one meetings and group sessions that empower students to make informed, realistic and adaptable decisions about their futures
• Accurately record all guidance interactions and agreed actions on Unifrog, ensuring student data is kept up to date and accessible
• Offer targeted support to students navigating post-16 and post-18 transitions, including referrals to specialist services for those with additional needs, such as SEND
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, networks, and partners to enrich the careers and higher education offer and maximise student outcomes
• Track, monitor and report on student aspirations to inform strategic planning and targeted interventions
• Engage parents and carers in the careers guidance process, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s journey, including attendance at parents’ evenings
• Facilitate meaningful employer encounters that inspire students and broaden their understanding of the world of work
• Attend key events such as results days and enrolment days to provide on-the-spot careers support and guidance
• Support colleagues across the team by sharing best practice, offering shadowing opportunities and contributing to a collaborative learning culture
• Actively contribute to Careers Adviser team meetings by sharing insights, experiences or resources that enhance practice and support team development
• Provide careers-related evidence and representation during Ofsted inspections, showcasing the strength and impact of the careers provision

War on Want is recruiting a Head of Campaigns - Strategy and Impact to bring in strategic level capacity to War on Want campaigns.

War on Want is dynamic, radical organisation that runs hard-hitting campaigns against the root causes of poverty and human rights violation, mobilising support and building alliances to fight for human rights, especially workers’ rights, raising public awareness of the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice, and empowering people to take action for change. Reporting to the Director of Campaigns, Policy and Programmes, this is a new role working within the department to provide strategic oversight and coordination across War on Want’s campaigning portfolio, to evolve the organisation’s creative tools and techniques for both online and offline campaigning, and lead on impact learning to inform the development of campaign plans.

The role is both strategic and operational, supporting the development and integration of national and international campaigns that will engage and mobilise new and existing supporters, with a particular focus on War on Want’s priority campaign programme areas on Justice for Palestine and on a Global Green New Deal.

We are looking for an experienced campaign strategist who knows how to drive campaigns forward, familiar with the different tools and techniques to inspire online and offline campaigning, and who can spark creative ways to deliver impact and secure campaign successes working effectively and collaboratively across teams. You will be responsible for managing our three Senior Campaigners who lead on War on Want’s thematic campaigns, supporting strategy development and implementation, taking an intersectional approach to connect across the issues we campaign on, and coordinating across teams to ensure campaigns deliver for the shared organisational objectives of generating impact, engagement and income.

The Team

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England.

The Role

This role sits within the IPS Grow Operational Support function and will play a key part in supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce-based CRM system. You will work closely with colleagues across IPS Grow and Social Finance’s Data and Digital Community of Practice to ensure tools meet the needs of frontline teams and stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems, including configuration, customisation and user support.
• The ability to advise on design decisions and adapt/develop Salesforce functionality (e.g. custom objects, workflows, automations) without needing to code.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience cleaning and interpreting data using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

We are working with Dogs for Good who are seeking a new Campaigns Partner.

Dogs for Good is a registered charity dedicated to advancing the boundless possibilities of what a connection between people and dogs can enable – in making everyday life fuller, healthier, and happier for everyone involved.

The new Campaigns Partner will create simple, easy campaigns that anyone can join. Think local dog walks, coffee mornings, school talks, poster trails, library displays and quick volunteering. You will set up ways to connect using links, forms, and print. You’ll manage all this data in our system and share reports with the team. You will enjoy practical ideas, neat ways of working and tidy data.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in running public or community campaigns or events.
• Confidence with forms, spreadsheets and a database (D365 training provided)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability work under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels including volunteers and external partners.
• Comfortable around dogs and dog-friendly events.

A background in charity or education is desirable, basic reporting (Excel) would be an advantage.

The Justice First Fellowship (JFF) is a two-year, fully funded legal training programme for aspiring social justice lawyers. Run by the Legal Education Foundation, JFF has supported 170 fellows since 2014, with most continuing to work in social justice law

As a JFF fellow at Cambridge House Law Centre, you’ll complete your legal training with us. We’ll cover the cost of any required training, and you’ll also work with us to develop a project that supports our mission and expands your career opportunities. JFF will provide additional training, wellbeing support, and you will join a growing network of lawyers dedicated to using the law to drive social change.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights, feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls, exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs and facing barriers to social protection. The Role

To undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient distribution of food each day. You will have responsibility for coordination of our food stock, from goods-in to picking, dispatch and stock rotation and will be expected to drive vans, and Forklift Trucks.

As the Community Food Member champion you will be responsible for liaising with our community food members. This will include duties such as managing collection schedules and liaising with the member services team to resolve any day-to-day queries.

Working closely with the wider team and volunteers, you will also support the monitoring and utilisation of warehouse space, stock, deliveries and collections to ensure food reaches its destination amongst our members safely, on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Operations 

• Undertake all warehouse duties, ensuring effective, safe and efficient coordination and distribution and of food
• Work closely with the member services team to ensure all lines of communication to CFMs are recorded and day to day issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• To work to performance indicators so that stock is accurate, and delivery routes are efficient to allow the organisation to grow
• To ensure that all work areas – both inside and outside the warehouse - are clean, organised and safe to work in
• Follow all H&S and Food Safety standards set out in the FareShare policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all our colleagues & visitors, and the safe receipt of food by all our members.
• Undertake van/Forklift Truck driving duties to ensure effective, efficient timely and safe delivery & collection of food, in line with compliance standards
• Ensuring great customer service in delivery
• Loading and unloading, sorting for, and following deliveries, ensuring safe lifting, and carrying
• Refer van “issues”, in a timely manner to Transport Department to ensure minimum disruption to service delivery
• Undertake all checks and procedures from pre-delivery to post-delivery

2.   Volunteer Communication & Co-ordination  

• Work closely with the volunteer teams a diverse group ranging from regular and long-term, volunteers, placements (e.g. Job Centre) to business people having just a 1-day volunteering experience – to ensure that all shift duties are covered, and teams work effectively
• Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers, ensuring they follow all policies and procedures, high standards of accuracy are maintained and their volunteer experience with FSM is a satisfying one.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Volunteer Manager & wider staff team with the recruitment, training and development of volunteers in the context of our commitment to Equal Opportunities

• Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and other standards applicable to the building, vehicles, refrigeration equipment, our staff and volunteers. carrying out risk assessments as required

4.   Administration

• Ensure that food movements are accurately logged on the electronic stock management system
• Carry out depot administration, including running reports, correspondence with member groups, updating volunteer records
• Ensure that relevant administrative matters are dealt with in a timely way, for instance food safety traces & customer complaints.
