Employer partnerships at Unifrog
Unifrog provides employers with a comprehensive talent attraction and development offering, with a holistic approach to our partnerships. The Employer Partnerships team brings local and international employers closer to our Unifrog schools, students and teachers. We focus on three key areas:

This allows employers to centralise their engagement with the future workforce via one partnership.
This is the newest element of the Unifrog team and since starting work with employers in March 2022, we’re now partnered with over 80 organisations from across all sectors and industries to support them with their talent attraction and brand awareness.
We’re increasing growth through providing unique tailored partnerships for employers; ranging from partnerships that centre around a virtual course to support students in developing their skills (while increasing brand awareness), to partnering with Unifrog schools in areas of high levels of disadvantage via our school sponsorship programme, which brings outstanding careers guidance and networking opportunities with employers and universities to the students, schools and parents/carers who need it most.
The role and your key responsibilities
As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student and teacher community.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Make sales to employers
Working with our New Business Lead and the wider Employer team, you’ll secure and conduct meetings with employers in which you’ll listen to their needs, communicate our mission to them, demonstrate our offering and seek to secure their ongoing subscription.

Maintain excellent relationships with existing partners and secure their subscriptions
You’ll onboard new partners, conduct regular check-in calls and consultatively support our employer partners to make the most of their partnership with us. It’s crucial that you maintain a sky-high resubscription rate.

Delivering our existing services for partner employers
As the partnerships manager for your employers, you would be responsible for delivering on the different aspects of the partnership, including:

Matching campaigns
Support your partners to identify events and opportunities they’re running that will be of interest to students using Unifrog, and work with our Employer Engagement Coordinator to add them to our system.

Webinars, online fairs and in-person events
These events are another way for our partner employers to interact with our community of students and teachers. From virtual careers fairs, skill development webinars to in-person insights days, we strive for all our events to be useful, impactful and enjoyable for everyone taking part.

Help develop new ways for our employer partners to add and receive value
The employer offering is continually evolving, and we’re keen to keep adding more ways in which we can add value for students and teachers using the Unifrog platform, and value to our employer partners as well. At Unifrog, we innovate quickly, and it’s everyone’s job to be creative. We want you to play your part in coming up with new services we can deliver which add value to all parties.

Whether it’s marketing collateral or an email to a partner organisation, it’s important you have the skills and discipline to carefully check our employer focused content and communications.

You will be expected to organise and interpret data to help employer partners make decisions about their partnership which will lead to securing new business and renewals. You need to be confident using google sheets, excel and powerpoint to create easy to understand visual representations.

We are more interested in people’s attitude and ability than their work history, but previous experience in Early Talent, Apprenticeships, Diversity and Inclusion or the Education sector would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Employer Partnerships team. You’ll work alongside several other teams at Unifrog too, including people on our marketing, data analysis, and school facing teams. You’ll be line-managed by the Head of Employer Partnerships.

Working with the Development Director, the Development Manager will be responsible for all aspects of our regular giving and young alumni programme:
- Lead a sustainable and effective regular giving programme and increase participation across all year groups through campaigns such as Telethons and Giving Days, sourcing and securing match gifts as needed.
- Face to face fundraising and donor engagement of our small to mid-level donors; cultivating and raising gifts between £1,000 - £10,000 from alumni and friends, managing a pipeline of prospects and building relationships with existing and new prospects.
- Continue developing a student and young alumni programme that offers opportunities for networking and mentoring and encouraging fundraising participation among recent graduates.
Creative, impactful and results driven, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented project manager with an exemplary track record in a fundraising, marketing/communications, or sales. This post will also suit someone who enjoys building relationships and working in a small team, while collaborating across departments, collegiate Cambridge and the University.

About the Role
Through our range of programmes, we work to inspire and empower young people, whatever their background to succeed in work and life. A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to manage the delivery of our EDI programmes and have a real impact on the participation of underrepresented groups in our programmes, as well as building on our established position within the skills sector.

Role purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and deliver WorldSkills UK’s external Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) programmes supported by stakeholder engagement strategies across our network of industry, education and government. The role will ensure that we engage external stakeholders to help deliver our ambition to be a leader, partner and ally in creating positive change for ED&I in the skills sector.
Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Deliver positive action activity for change:
- Support the development and delivery of WorldSkills UK’s external ED&I strategy. Ensure it is fit for purpose, has recognised long term goals and will deliver measurable change, reflecting organisational priorities around increased engagement with ethnic minority groups and females. Provide an overarching framework and help further develop strategic KPIs for our ED&I work, ensuring effective use of data, monitoring progress and performance.
- Work with the Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop action plans that will drive our continuous improvement:
- Support our skills competition development programmes to increase the diversity of young people engaged
- Support the development of role models to showcase the impact of our work and encourage diversity in key areas of industry, including future priority skill areas
- Support the development of learning resources that aid engagement with underrepresented groups
- Support teams to ensure ED&I matters are considered and addressed as key components of all strategies, plans and programmes.
2. Manage the ED&I Advisory Group:
- This is a unique opportunity to work with experienced and prominent senior individuals from across education and industry who are invested in driving the agenda for ED&I.
- Lead the administration and ongoing development of our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Advisory Group.
- Engage the Group to help support, advise and challenge WorldSkills UK on its actions to remove obstacles and barriers faced by young people from under-represented backgrounds in our programmes.
- Report regularly to the Group on progress against KPI’s and facilitate reports for the WorldSkills UK Board.
3. Project Manage the ED&I Heroes Awards
- The Awards is an established flagship event which provides a platform for WorldSkills UK to celebrate success with its partners, amplify best practice and inspire others to drive change across the skills systems in education and business.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. Job Summary
Chapter One is seeking a Birmingham/West Midlands Programme Manager from September 2024 who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.

First Give is a national charity that inspires young people to make a difference to the causes they care about. We do this through working in partnership with secondary schools, providing a fully resourced scheme of work that guides an entire year group of students to engage with local charities and causes and then carry out social action (fundraising, raising awareness, campaigning, volunteering etc.) in support of them.

Programme Managers are responsible for coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up to 60 schools. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team of Programme Managers.
Programme Managers support our schools to deliver the programme, engaging approximately 35,000 young people in social action for local causes. The schools this Programme Manager will work with are based in Wales and the West of England, plus some schools in London and the South East.

All Programme Managers have the following as ‘core’ responsibilities, to ensure the successful delivery and management of the First Give programme in schools:
- Manage relationships with teachers and school leaders to deliver the First Give programme
- Manage programmes using Salesforce
- Attend school Finals and other in school events
- Deliver First Give events (Assemblies, Workshops and Finals) where required
- Renew schools onto the programme year-on-year
- Support recruitment and management of school facilitators as appropriate
- Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
- an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
- delivering a briefing to class teachers;
- responding to queries via phone and email;
- booking in First Give facilitated sessions
- Collect data for monitoring (student surveys; case studies; teacher surveys)
- Recruit a minimum of one judge per School Final from the wider community
- Actively raise the profile of First Give across Wales and the West of England, creating opportunities to attend networks, promote programmatic offers and develop new school partnerships or funding opportunities
- Some activity to recruit new schools to the programme, including seeking referrals from existing partners and delivering onboarding meetings
In addition to core responsibilities, Programme Managers have ‘Additional Responsibilities’ which make up part of their role and objectives. These Additional Responsibilities are flexibly assigned across the staff team based on the needs of the organisation and caseloads. Examples of Additional Responsibility areas include monitoring & evaluation; facilitator recruitment and training; communications; resource design; Youth Advisory Group oversight.

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. As we enter our fourth year of operation, we are seeking an organised and proactive Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our growth and ensuring the successful delivery of our mentoring programmes.
The Programme Manager will work closely with the Programme Director to lead and manage key components of our mentoring programme. This includes building strong relationships with mentors, mentees, and partner schools, as well as coordinating training, enrichment activities, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a passion for empowering young Black women, and the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentee Recruitment and Induction
- Work closely with partner schools to finalise mentee cohorts.
- Visit schools to deliver induction sessions familiarising mentees with the programme.
- Lead mentor-matching sessions with support from Mentoring Coordinators.
Mentor Training and Onboarding
- Develop and deliver training sessions for mentors.
- Collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure a diverse mentor pool.
- Support mentors to maximise the impact of their relationships.
Mentor Coordination
- Support a cohort of up to 30 mentoring pairs.
- Conduct monthly check-ins with each mentor.
- Facilitate mid and end-of-year reviews for mentoring pairs.
Enrichment Delivery and Planning
- Plan and deliver enrichment activities like career trips and work experience days.
- Evaluate the impact of enrichment activities and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with partners and vendors for enrichment events.
School Liaison
- Serve as the primary contact for partner schools.
- Regularly update schools on programme developments and mentee progress.
Safeguarding
- Act as a point of contact for safeguarding matters.
- Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure confidentiality.
Communications
- Produce a monthly mentor newsletter.
- Contribute to social media content.
Reporting
- Support the Programme Director in preparing updates for the Advisory Board and funders.
- Produce the End-of-year report showcasing the programme’s achievements.
Administration
- Review and approve in-person mentoring meeting requests.
- Conduct risk assessments.
Staff Management
- Line manage Mentoring Coordinators and the Programme Assistant.
- Provide task management to other team members as required.
