The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. The salary level for this role reflects the contractual location and the programme funding. The salary range is £33,120 to 41,000 per annum (regional) and £36,225 to £44,000 London office based.

EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-driven UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips voluntary community educators to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. About this role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising professional, with a proven track record of income generation and a strong ability to develop impactful relationships with the skills to bring aligned individuals and organisations into our long-term EduSpots community. Salford Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Food is donated, sorted and packed at our warehouse, then delivered to our 7 centres across Salford, where teams of volunteers greet people as they pick up their food parcels. People can also access support and advice at our centres to help them maximise their income and ensure they are less likely to need to use the foodbank again.
You’ll be joining a friendly team of 6 part-time staff, 6 Trustees and approx. 80 volunteers, all dedicated to supporting people facing hardship. We are part of The Trussell Trust, a nationwide network of foodbanks.
Rate of pay: £21,000 per annum for 22.5 hours per week (£35,000 FTE pro-rata)

The Role
The WorldGBC is seeking a dedicated Advocacy and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping and advancing our global advocacy efforts, influencing policy, and supporting our network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs) in their advocacy work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing policy positions, conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and policies worldwide. The Advocacy and Engagement Manger will report to and work closely with the Global Advocacy Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Support for the Global Advocacy Director: Work closely with the Global Advocacy Director to develop and implement WorldGBC's global advocacy strategy. Assist in coordinating the organization’s advocacy efforts across different regions, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Provide analytical support, prepare briefing materials, and manage specific projects as directed by the Global Advocacy Director. Act as a liaison between the Global Advocacy Director and other team members, stakeholders, and national GBCs to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Duties Include:
Fundraising and project development:
· Lead the implementation of Bexley Mencap’s Fundraising Strategy; reviewing existing fundraising strategies, identifying opportunities for development and introducing innovative strategies to achieve fundraising goals.
· Research and pursue new funding opportunities; including grants, legacies and social enterprise/earned income opportunities.
· Develop compelling cases for support, tailoring funding bids and applications accordingly
· Develop and maintain funding pipelines, providing reports to the Trustee Board
· Support and line manage part-time member of the team (may be required to support more staff if the role grows/adapts)

Key responsibilities of the Website Project Manager:
- Working with the Director of Marketing & Digital, Head of Digital and the web agency to oversee the content and design, technical work up, and finally the delivery of the website
- Working closely with the Marketing & Digital team to migrate content to the new website, managing the strategy and timings to ensure this key milestone of the project is achieved on time
- Organising workshops and other internal meetings to ensure that all directorates have input and have clearly defined tasks and timelines to follow
- Assisting the Head of Digital and wider digital team in the management of the current website as well as the new website. This includes regular updates, page creation for campaigns and search engine optimisation
- Creating deadlines and action items to achieve the end goal, and be the point person for the management of each item
- Managing communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date
- Delivering the project on time and within budget
- Assisting the Head of Digital in creating a Standard Operating Procedure for management of the website once it’s up and running

The role is responsible for overseeing high-quality sourcing of volunteers to join as 1MM Mentors, in London and nationally. The role will help to establish a pipeline in line with 1MM’s aspirations for 2024 and beyond. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
1MM Regional Manager for Volunteer Mentors main tasks include:

The Role:
The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.
The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.
Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.
Well-organised and a great communicator, this individual will ensure that key relationships are managed effectively across the organisation, and be detail oriented in their reporting and accounting of opportunities. The Lead should also be willing to represent the organisation in relevant external opportunities relating to the programmes as need arises - including fundraising meetings, external working groups, events or conferences.
The Partner Engagement Lead will report to the Director of Programmes Strategy.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Account Management: Be primary point of contact for new and existing programmatic sponsors and partners, overseeing engagement with the network and accounting with detailed reporting to ensure up-to-date partnership records. Work alongside the programmatic team leads to deliver all agreed benefits to partners, ensuring a uniform balance of benefits and opportunities across sponsors engaging in all areas of the organisation.
2. Fundraising and Budget Management: Work alongside the programme leads to secure funding and manage relevant programme/project budgets (with guidance from the Director of Programmes Strategy), including supporting grant application and reporting responsibilities where necessary.
3. Stakeholder Engagement (members and partners): Engage with stakeholders to ensure that our programmes/projects align with their goals and needs, working with the Director of Programmes Strategy and wider programme team to explore best practice engagement tactics throughout 2024.
4. Subject Matter Expertise: Stay current with the latest trends in sustainable buildings and WorldGBC programme outputs, ensuring the Lead can communicate knowledgeably about WorldGBC strategy and work areas as required.
5. Communications: Support communication for WorldGBC on topics related to sustainable buildings in relevant programmatic areas, representing the team at internal or external events or industry working groups and collaborating with Marketing & Communications on accurate messaging for publications and campaigns.
6. Supporting Programmes team: Be a committed member of the WorldGBC team and offer support, training and expertise to wider members of the team. Participate and engage in wider WorldGBC campaigns, events and deliverables, such as COP, World Green Building Week and Leadership Summit.
