Programme Officer for Europe & Eurasia

About the role:

The Programme Officer will provide programmatic support to a portfolio of Internews Europe’s projects in the Europe & Eurasia (E&E) Region. The role will be part of Internews’ Regional E&E Team and report to the UK-based Regional Programme Manager. The role will support the project teams in the E&E region as they conduct their project activities and ensure effective programme implementation, particularly related to project reporting, work planning, and monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL).

The role will coordinate with diverse international donors to contribute to development opportunities that support E&E media and journalists to safely provide good-quality information. The role supports the design and development of innovative programmes and serves as the point of contact for E&E projects within Internews Europe and for some project donors. The role may also be asked to represent Internews at partner and donor meetings. The role will also contribute to Internews’ knowledge management and improvement of Internews systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the project teams across all programmatic and operational aspects of European-funded grant programmes to implement high-quality projects on time, according to the budget, and to the highest technical standards, and in a way that positions projects within a broader regional or thematic portfolio and contributes to organisational impact
• Monitor progress towards project deliverables and provide guidance to project teams
• Support project openings/start-ups and closeouts
• Advise on project team composition and support with hiring key project personnel
• Guide the project teams on rules and requirements of European donors and Internews’ internal policies and procedures
• Work closely with the E&E Business team on business aspects of project delivery, including budget management and financial tracking
• Review and revise donor narrative reports, workplans, and MERL plans to ensure their high quality
• Review and provide feedback on relevant programmatic and monitoring aspects, including MERL reporting, external project evaluation, and other research and studies
• Solicit, draft, and edit success stories, briefers, and other communications materials for E&E projects in coordination with project teams
• Contribute to or draft scopes of work, programme descriptions, etc. for subgrants or contracts as needed
• Coordinate and contribute to various aspects of proposal development, including research, writing, and editing
• Provide input and support for organisation-wide initiatives as needed
• Travel within the E&E region as necessary
• Represent Internews in official meetings as necessary
• Other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• University degree in a related field;
• Familiarity with the E&E region and/or media-related issues
• Native-level fluency in written and spoken English, with superb writing and text-editing skills. Proven ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and precision
• Excellent research and analytical skills and relevant experience
• Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and do any task required to get the job done
• Self-starter and dynamic with a strong level of self-awareness. Assertive, with the ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
• Strong teamwork experience and proven track record of a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Desirable:

• Proficiency in Russian (written and spoken) and/or other languages spoken in the E&E region is an asset, but not required

Delivery Officer (North)

£32,000-£34,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits

You’ll provide first-line support to applicants, coordinate project records, and contribute to grant assessments – ensuring each project meets our standards and supports our strategic aims. The salary band for this role is £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Impatience Earth is a non-profit climate philanthropy consultancy founded in 2020 with a mission to educate, challenge and inspire wealth holders to take bolder funding decisions to address the climate emergency.

We have a role available for someone to join our small but mighty team to deliver high-level support to our CEO and Deputy CEO, helping them achieve their strategic priorities by managing their calendar and emails, supporting them with prioritisation of tasks and managing key projects. A smaller part of the role will be to provide support as a Team Manager, which will entail coordinating team meetings and away days, and supporting with the administration of projects.

The Regional Engagement Officer (REO) for Northern Ireland will build and strengthen SOFT UK’s presence in the region. Key responsibilities

 Strategic Development and Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen the value, engagement, and content of CST Professional Communities.
• Set clear objectives and KPIs to monitor success and drive continuous improvement of community services.
• Regularly evaluate community activity, identifying ways to increase engagement, relevance, and impact for members.

Community Content Curation and Management

• Oversee the quality, consistency, and relevance of content across all 11 Professional Communities, ensuring alignment with member priorities and organisational objectives.
• Work in partnership with community chairs, subject experts, community supporters and CST’s platinum partnerships to proactively commission, curate, and quality-assure community content (e.g., webinars, blogs, resources, discussions).
• Work closely with the professional learning and conference teams to ensure a joined-up, coherent approach to content across CST activity, avoiding duplication and enhancing overall member value.
• Identify content gaps and work creatively, including drawing upon resources and contacts within the policy and partnership team to address them, ensuring a balanced and evolving programme across the communities.

Community Engagement and Facilitation

• Lead and facilitate virtual and in-person community events, ensuring professional delivery and high-quality member interaction.
• Support and brief speakers, chairs, and contributors to ensure a consistently excellent experience for members.
• Actively promote member engagement through community platforms and other channels, driving participation and interaction.

 Stakeholder Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CST members, community chairs, speakers, and supporters.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues across membership, communications, professional learning, policy, and conference teams to maximise the impact of community activities.
• Manage relationships with sponsors where appropriate, ensuring alignment with CST values.

Digital Platform and Event Management

• Oversee the effective use of digital and platforms (including CiviCRM and Hivebrite,) to host communities, deliver events, and share content.
• Manage operational aspects of events and online communities, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent user experience.

Data, Insight, and Reporting

• Monitor and report on community engagement, content performance, and member feedback, using data to guide improvements.
• Lead the ongoing development of data processes for the communities, ensuring accurate insights are captured and shared.

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage, develop, and support the Professional Communities Coordinator, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Encourage learning and development across the team to ensure consistently excellent member service.

Adaptability and Wider Contribution

• Contribute to broader membership engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Director of Membership to support CST’s mission

The Trust is seeking a Fundraising Director to run the day-to-day operations of our small and successful charity, alongside our existing Director of Operations, starting 1 September 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The annual salary is £33,000 and hours of work are 35 hours a week. The successful candidate must be able to work from home but be willing to travel to central London for regular meetings and occasional events. We are open to part-time or flexible working options.

The National Youth Arts Trust (NYAT) is a small performing arts charity that exists to widen access to the performing arts for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds - through giving bursaries for music, dance, and drama lessons, running youth theatre projects, and taking children to the theatre, often for the first time.

Purpose of the Job

Partnerships Executive (Interim)

The Partnerships Executive plays a key role in developing CST’s commercial relationships. Their primary responsibility is to secure conference exhibition sales to meet budget targets and manage all aspects of the exhibitor experience from prospecting to on-the-day support, to post-event communications. They also manage listings in the Directory of Services and work closely with the Partnerships Manager to support the prospecting process.

Reporting to: Partnerships Manager

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure that exhibition sales targets are met for each CST conference.

2. Maintain the CRM for commercial organisations, including creating and managing prospect groups and executing effective exhibition sales campaigns.

3. Create and maintain relevant webforms.

4. Provide excellent end-to-end support for exhibitors, including in person at larger conferences to ensure that all exhibitors’ needs are met on the day.

5. Gather feedback from exhibitors on the quality of their experience and report on what worked well and areas for improvement following each event.

6. Maintain and update marketing collateral to support CST’s commercial activities such as brochures, floorplans, briefings and manuals.

7. Cross-promote the Directory of Services to exhibitors along with other opportunities to work with CST where relevant.

8. Manage the sales and onboarding process for the Directory of Services, including overseeing the references, undertaken by a third party, sending out agreements and liaising with the marketing team on the promotion of new suppliers.

9. Support the Partnerships Manager in the development of the commercial pipeline for CST partnerships by holding initial meetings with new prospects and identifying opportunities for engagement.
