Individual Giving Officer
We are looking for an Individual Giving Officer with experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management.
Position: CE375 Individual Giving Officer
Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Salary: £34,470 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,275 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role
You’ll be part of an ambitious and highly motivated team responsible for delivering an ambitious and growing Individual Fundraising programme. Working with other officers, you will be reporting to either the Individual Giving Lead responsible for cause related products, or for gaming products.
You’ll be:
- Enthusiastically managing and delivering a range of fundraising and engagement campaigns and communications to develop and maximise support from loyal supporters via multiple channels, including telephone, mail, digital, and SMS.
- Using your fundraising and marketing experience and skills to create successful campaigns and complex supporter journeys to help us grow income and supporter engagement. (Working collaboratively with Digital and Social Teams, as well as external media agencies). Helping deliver on multi million annual plans to retain and recruit new supporters using the most effective techniques and channels, including Face to Face.
- Comfortable with figures and spreadsheets and have a head for figures, as you’ll be diving into the data an managing campaign costs.
- Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate campaign results and reviews.
- Always looking out for new opportunities, using sprint pipeline methodology (testing, solving, learning from experiments) before scaling.
- Ensuring campaigns and gaming activities are fully compliant at all times… a knowledge of Gambling Commission rules would be a bonus.
About You
We’re looking for an individual who:
- Has great experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management, and can bring a real enthusiasm to the team. This role has a specific focus around supporter acquisition which includes face to face, paid digital, direct mail, telemarketing and eMarketing.
- Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management.
- Loves attention to detail and can work on several projects at once whilst thinking outside the box, as things can change quickly!
- In fact loves data and insight and enjoy applying insight to our campaigns

Would you like to play a key part in influencing national decisionmakers across Wales, England and Northern Ireland to drive major, positive change in the dementia policy space? Then this could be the role for you.
Sitting within Alzheimer’s Society’s National Influencing team, as our new National Influencing Officer (Public Affairs) you would be instrumental in delivering innovative, engaging, collaborative, and evidence-based influencing work. You’d be ensuring that political and health system stakeholders are acting on the biggest issues affecting people living with dementia, working closely with other teams to drive work that is integrated locally and nationally.
While this role is predominantly focused on delivering national influencing activity in England, you’ll also be part of a fluid and flexible team that operates across boundaries and supports with our political work in Wales and Northern Ireland.
This is an exciting time for dementia policy in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. - This person will take the lead in delivering the next 12 months of Snowdrop’s fundraising strategy, driving forward strategic development, implementing learning and further developing the fundraising team to deliver on its fundraising ambitions in line with the wider organisational strategy.
- The Head of Fundraising role sits within the Senior Leadership team at Snowdrop and is responsible to contribute to the overall leadership, strategic management and continued development of the organisation

- This person will work alongside and support Snowdrop’s trusts and grants fundraiser and support on large grant applications where necessary

• The role involves travel across our district to visit homelessness households in their temporary accommodation (including Hostels and various B&B’s) with the aim of assisting them with maximising all of the housing options available to them to ensure that they are able to move on from temporary accommodation as soon as possible.
• Create bespoke ‘Tenancy Ready’ plans for each client and ensure that they have access to the appropriate support and resources to achieve this.

- Experienced in negotiating and influencing at a senior level, combined with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- A highly skilled Finance professional, who demonstrates an appetite for continued learning and personal development.
- Approximately 15 years of senior finance operational leadership experience prefered in multi-national commercial sector and/or international charity sector.
- Significant team management experience, including remote working across different time zones.
- Proven ability to lead change, including working well across many operational disciplines (Field programs, IT, Legal and HR teams, for example).
- Oversight of a complex treasury function providing financial access across geographical locations.
- Experience communicating and providing reports to Board Audit & Finance Committee.
Open Doors International will offer a competitive salary for the post. We are open to applications from anyone who is suitable for this role, regardless of their current location, with a willingness to be located within -6hours/+2 hours Central European Time zone for ease of communication within a dispersed global ministry.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an MS Teams Interview with the Open Doors International search panel. Finalist Candidates will be asked to come to Netherlands for in-person interviews on 5 September.
