Primary location of role
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Kent, Sussex, or Surrey area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London office.

As the Fundraising Officer you will play a pivotal role in growing individual giving through cash and regular donors and legacy giving for a local health charity.

The Role

Ovacome Support Services Officer, reporting to the Programmes Manager.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about supporting those affected by ovarian cancer through a people-centred approach. You must be experienced in providing support services, well-organised and approachable. You will be an important member of our staff team.
Pay scale: £28,500 – £33,000 per year (full time), pro-rata if part time. All our salaries our benchmarked based on the requirements of the Role Description and comparable roles in the charity sector. Salaries are subject to an annual review; we also award an annual cost of living increase.
Hours: 21 hours (part time) to 35 hours (full time) per week, with flexibility around core operational hours. We offer flexible hours to accommodate caring responsibilities. Core hours of work are between 8.30am to 5.30pm. Wednesday is a core working day.

The role
As Head of Operations, you will lead all operational functions of Foxglove. You will ensure that our finance, HR, legal compliance, fundraising, systems and internal processes enable the organisation to carry out its mission effectively. You’ll work across Foxglove and closely with leadership, as well as with external partners to build a resilient and well-governed organisation, able to manage growth and complexity while staying mission driven. This role manages one member of staff and multiple consultants.

Financial Management & Accounting

This is a new role within the Programmes Directorate to support the expansion of the Trust’s in-house impact evaluation. The Sutton Trust has an excellent reputation in this field with well-developed theories of change, robust evaluation framework and extensive data and feedback from programme participants. This role will be vital for delivering internal evaluation projects of Sutton Trust programmes, supporting with data collection and management across multiple platforms, contributing to and implementing our impact strategy and developing expertise in data analysis, project management, and data management.
The role will report to the Senior Impact and Evaluation Manager, alongside working with the Systems and Evaluation Manager, and others across the Programmes team.
Main duties
- Working with the team to deliver the Trust’s impact strategy. This includes analysing both qualitative and quantitative data on the Trust’s programmes, creating reports to communicate findings, supporting with the collection and management of impact and engagement data, and supporting on external evaluation projects.
- Working with colleagues across the Programmes and Development teams to support with reporting programme numbers and data requests to funders and other key stakeholders.
- Support the Systems and Evaluation Manager with the innovation and development of our Salesforce CRM platform and other data-gathering platforms to ensure the ongoing collection and maintenance of high-quality data.

Job Purpose
The weekend Home & Settle Project Officer is responsible for responding to referrals received over the weekend from both Royal London Hospital & Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. You will work with the manager on Friday to deliver services and plan visits on the weekend for you to attend.
The service supports people returning after a stay in hospital, helping them to settle back at home, regain confidence and support with some practical tasks, e.g. shopping/cleaning. You will manage referrals, carry out assessments, and in liaison with the manager, allocate service users to Discharge and Settle Worker caseloads. You will provide direct frontline support and co-ordinate visits to the service users’ home in preparation for their return home. You will work collaboratively to lead and manage the weekend service to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users. The service is time limited, up to 4 or 6 weeks, to adjust, build confidence, and settle back in their homes.
Key Tasks

Act as the first point of contact for all referrals over the weekend across both hospitals.

Meet with patients in the community and/or hospital and carrying out assessments and risk assessments.

Enter referrals on to AUKEL’s case management system (currently Charity Log) in accordance with GDPR guidelines.

Allocate referrals to Discharge and Settle workers (in the week) using tech available (currently the Call Round App), training will be available.

Collect feedback from service users and upload to case management system.

Prepare and keep stock of AUKEL Welcome Packs and service leaflets.

Deputise for the manger at discharge planning and other meetings as required.

Support hospitals to improve the patient’s experience of the discharge process.

About the role
We are looking for an IT and Data Officer to join our central team, working in collaboration with our services which are our Independent Approved Premises (IAP). You will maintain and support our data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, responsible for managing CRM systems and supporting with first line IT queries which could include ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.
You will work across multiple projects to ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and communicated, proactively identifying and addressing any data or system related issues. You will support with continuous improvement for the service and wider organisation.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about IT and data, able to utilise this within a practical working environment. You will be confident in using various tools and software with transferrable skills. In this role, you will:
- Lead on developing and delivering innovative integrated, digital first PR campaigns that achieve impactful national, international, local and digital coverage, to support our fundraising and public engagement activities, build WaterAid’s profile, and align with wider organisational aims

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Community and Events Manager to lead and grow Playskill’s community and events fundraising stream. This role is vital to increasing awareness and generating income to support our services, through meaningful community engagement and events.
You will be responsible for managing and developing our annual events (including The Playskill Golf Day), introducing new local fundraising opportunities, and building relationships within community groups. You will also line manage the Fundraising Officer, helping to support their contribution to the fundraising team.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
· Line management experience.
· Experience organising and delivering successful events.
· Strong relationships building and donor stewardship abilities.
· Knowledge of GDPR legislation to ensure clear understanding of confidentiality and the need for data protection
· Computer literature, proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Good communication, empathy, numeracy, and administrative skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide specialist emotional and practical support and information to people affected by brain tumours, their friends, families and carers through a variety of solutions including phone, email, webchat, online, social media plus new evolving channels
- Provide high quality information which reflects the most up to date research, clinical information and treatments, in a way people can understand. Conducting the research yourself and adapting your communication to suit the person you are supporting is key
- Offer coaching guidance to empower individuals, helping them to achieve the appropriate next steps
- Work in conjunction with the Volunteer Development Manager to recruit, train and manage volunteers who assist in delivering support services
- Lead on aspects of cross team projects and develop new resources that meet our community’s needs, while collaborating with other teams and external partners
- Identify gaps in knowledge across the Support Team and identify possible training areas
- Developing information for our website and other resources, for example, writing initial drafts and reviewing information
- Plan and facilitate online and in person events for the brain tumour community, including online meet ups for young adults
- Day to day management of our online peer support platforms, for example our Facebook groups for Young Adults affected by a brain tumour diagnosis.
- Provide support to our Young Ambassadors through coordinating activities and check ins, facilitating meetings, and enabling meaningful input into our Young Adults Service.
- Update and maintain accurate contact information on the CRM database, producing data reports as required to evidence the impact and reach of our support services
- Identify, manage and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with The Charity guidelines

The Information Governance team are the champions of Data Protection and Information Governance within Alzheimer's Society. The team’s key objective is to enable all areas to use information appropriately whilst achieving the Society’s overall aim of creating a world without dementia. The Senior Information Governance Officer will support the wider Information Governance team in achieving this objective. They will be the first point of contact in the Society for data protection, information governance and records management questions, providing advice and guidance as appropriate to ensure the safe and legal processing of information. These queries will be from across the Society and could be in relation to service delivery, fundraising, campaigns, IT, volunteering or employment matters.
About you
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual looking for a fresh challenge and wishing to make a real difference to the lives of people affected by dementia. We are looking for
- Great knowledge and experience of managing information in line with Data Protection legislation and regulations
- Ability to Experience within a data protection or information governance role of advising colleagues across an organisation on how to comply with privacy requirements across a range of situations.
- Good understanding of records management concepts, technologies and standards, and experience of advising on and applying these in a business context
- Proven experience working in a fast paced and responsive environment, possessing good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills are a must as you will be engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, pro-active and ability to build successful relationships.
What you’ll focus on:
- Information Governance team activities including completing Data Protection Impact Assessments, undertaking supplier Due Diligence, managing rights requests and responding to queries
- Managing incidents, advising on remedial actions, supporting the business to identify root cause, notifying the regulator as required
- Analysing and producing reports on data protection risks, incidents, rights requests for various groups and committees within the Society
- Co-ordinating Society’s Information Asset Register reviews and advising Asset Owners and Managers on their responsibilities
- Advising the Society on records management topics, updating and maintaining retention schedules and records management procedures
- Co-ordinating Society responses to annual NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit, including check and challenge on proposed responses from business areas
- Developing and delivering relevant training and awareness content on various topics
