Purpose of the role:

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to join Kinship’s Marketing Team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help deliver integrated marketing campaigns and content that engages kinship carers, referral partners, and wider audiences across England and Wales. 

This role is hybrid with frequent (minimum of 1 day per week) travel and work in our London Office, Or fully office-based (Vauxhall)

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, audience-focused content across digital and offline channels, supporting social media and email marketing, managing marketing collateral, and ensuring all communications reflect Kinship’s brand and values. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive marketeer to contribute to a growing team, help raise awareness of Kinship’s services, and make a real difference for kinship carers and families.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of cross-channel marketing and communications campaigns and activity, specifically including tactical plans to promote Kinship’s DfE funded training and support service as well as promoting Kinship’s holistic support offer including peer support and online advice. 

• Plan and create clear, engaging, high-quality and audience-focused content – both written and multimedia (graphics, video, audio) using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express for a variety of channels - including website, social media, newsletters etc.

• Take the lead on day-to-day community engagement with followers across all social channels (paid and organic) using in-house guide to help direct to support where relevant and flagging issues of concern as appropriate. 

• Manage the inventory of Kinship’s marketing collateral, checking when stock is low and reordering where required.

• Ensure all content is in line with the charity’s brand, tone of voice, and accessibility standards. 

• Deliver regular monitoring on performance by tracking key metrics across digital channels (email marketing and social media) and feed into monthly reports. 

• Work in collaboration and co-production with kinship carers to ensure meaningful input and representation in the development of relevant plans and activities.

Knowledge, abilities, skills and experience: 

• Demonstrable marketing experience in an in-house or agency role. 

• Experience using digital marketing tools, including email marketing systems; design software, including Canva; social media platforms and photo and video editing software. 
• Experience using a Contact Management System, such as Salesforce. 
• Exceptional written and spoken communications skills, with the ability to develop impactful narratives tailored to different audiences and channels. 
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work happily in a fast-paced environment, keeping multiple projects and objectives on track, often to tight deadlines. 
• Excellent copywriting skills and experience of writing marketing copy for a range of audiences and channels, communicating clearly, concisely and with an organisation’s tone of voice. 
• Passionate about marketing and interested in different marketing approaches 
• Collaborative and enjoy working across a number of teams. 
• Flexible and willing to provide some out-of-hours cover and travel for work occasionally.

The structure of the team is set up to support the ongoing progression and growth of its members along the key verticals of Press, Website, Design and Outbound. We are looking for someone to support our Outbound communications (video production and development, supporter engagement, and design), as well as offering support across the verticals. The incoming Communications Officer should feel confident with engaging and supporting people to appear on video.

The successful applicant will have experience of these functions and will need to be a quick learner. They will have a can-do attitude with solid technical know-how and be reliable. Attention to detail is critical, alongside flexibility to evolving demands.

A confident communicator, they will be a self-starter with excellent prioritisation and time management and enjoy working in a highly collaborative setting. They will have the opportunity to deliver communications plans and strategies in line with our overall organisational aim of protecting the right to pursue a nomadic way of life.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will need to be based in our Brighton office, and we’re able to accommodate a degree of flexible working subject to successful completion of a three-month probation period.

Key responsibilities and duties

The role will be diverse and varied. No two days nor two emails are the same! Key responsibilities will include:

· Engaging audiences through compelling content across communications channels, including our website, video, social media.

· Researching, writing and supplying communications materials in response to briefs from the department Head.

· Working with project Leads to promote outcomes, findings and impact across our various channels.

· Supporting Gypsy, Roma or Traveller people to cut through digital noise, via public-focused opportunities such as guest blogs or video.

· Working to maximise the impact of our communications strategies, and operational plans.

· Maintaining and updating digital content from evergreen pages to news items, as and when appropriate.

· Developing and producing short-form video content, along with other Adobe-based outputs.

· Other such duties as are reasonably appropriate to the job.

· Support documentation in a meaningful, non-extractive, and culturally pertinent way.

Details:

Salary: £33,500 per annum.

Location: The post holder will be contractually based at Hospice House, Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JG. This role is eligible for the Hospice UK Hybrid Working Arrangement from the start of employment. Our expectation is that you will come to London at least two days each month for team meetings, plus a quarterly ‘all staff’ event, and External Affairs away days a few times a year. The Communications team mostly comes into the office at least once a week on a Wednesday. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time.

As our Membership Communications Officer, you’ll play a vital role in engaging with the people who work in Hospice UK’s 210 member organisations, as well as other key audiences. Your mission will be to deliver clear, engaging and impactful communications that promote awareness of Hospice UK’s work and the wider hospice sector. You will work with powerful personal stories of hospice care, translating deeply moving human stories of grief and compassion into engaging and sensitive content.

Working closely with colleagues in the Membership Engagement and Communications & Campaigns teams, you’ll:

• Source and produce stories that showcase the incredible work of our members.

About you

Are you a creative communicator who loves making content shine? You’ll have excellent copywriting skills and be able to craft clear, engaging messages for different audiences and channels. Confident in managing social media, you’ll know how to use analytics to track and improve performance. Highly organised, you can deliver communications to large, diverse audiences while working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to create great content.

We are seeking a creative and articulate Communications Officer to manage communications, including newsletters, website content and social media with a wide range audiences.

Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). Communications Officer

This role involves producing and editing clear, accurate, and engaging content across diocesan platforms, both online and offline, to share the Church’s story and highlight its role in society. The postholder will support the Head of Communications in managing the diocese’s digital and print presence, overseeing website and social media content, and contributing to fundraising campaigns.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Communications Officer will attend a wide range of diocesan events, creating compelling content for websites and social channels to strengthen the Church’s profile. The Communications Officer collaborate with diocesan teams and partners to draft and distribute press releases and advise colleagues on effective use of social media. Regular tasks will include managing website updates, drafting and reviewing parish communications, and preparing copy for fundraising bids, Planned Giving Drives, and Capital Appeals.

Consistency of branding and visual identity across all materials is key, and the Communications Officer will work closely with other departments to maintain this standard. They will also support the Head of Communications with broader team activities, including production of the annual Diocesan Directory and contributions to the National Directory. The role requires flexibility to respond to emerging needs, as well as commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as fundraising and impact reporting.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
The Communications Team is small and highly responsive, requiring flexibility and teamwork. Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent and have at least three years’ experience in communications.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills are essential.
• Experience of digital and print campaigns.
• Applicants must be able to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and influence without authority.
• Photography skills are desirable, and training will be provided.

Increase Public Awareness

• Develop and implement a communications strategy that frames the lived experiences of racial inequality through

compelling data, case studies, and human stories.

• Commission and manage research and data-gathering projects (e.g. £10k budget for Equity in Philanthropy report).

• Produce and disseminate research findings in accessible, engaging formats (reports, infographics, videos, blogs, press

releases).

• Deliver and oversee a coordinated social media plan across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp).

• Lead the press and media strategy, building relationships with journalists, particularly in Black, Asian, third sector, and

mainstream outlets.

Foster Engagement

• Review, update, and embed TPW’s key messaging framework across all channels.

• Work collaboratively with regional teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure consistent and inclusive messaging.

• Engage and mobilise stakeholders including community organisations, funders, policymakers, and the general public.

The Role

Set within one of the UK’s most remarkable coastal nature reserves, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve & Discovery Centre is a vibrant hub for wildlife, education, and community engagement. Managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust, the Discovery Centre welcomes thousands of visitors each year to explore the natural world and discover the stories behind our conservation work. We’re looking for a creative and driven Communications Officer to promote Sussex Wildlife Trust and encourage people to take action for nature. Responsibilities for the role include crafting engaging content, managing our digital presence, and supporting campaigns that raise awareness of our work and deepen public engagement.

We are delighted to be supporting a national early years charity who are looking to appoint a Communications Officer to their central team. This is a permanent, full-time role (35 hours per week), offered on a hybrid basis with one day a week in their London office and occasional travel to programme sites in Stoke-on-Trent and Redcar & Cleveland.

As Communications Officer, you will play a key role in raising awareness of the organisation’s work with national partners and stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing engaging content across a range of channels, from newsletters and blogs to films, infographics and social media. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation and regional teams to identify compelling stories, demonstrate impact, and inspire collaboration.

To be successful within this role, you will be an excellent communicator with proven experience in content creation and copywriting. The main duties of the Head of Communications role include:

• Liaising with departmental heads, senior lay officials and other colleagues on a range of communications

Purpose of the job:

Develop, lead, implement, and ensure internal and external communications strategies are maintained and in line with PCS policy.

Lead on the strategic direction of the unions communications and oversee delivery, digital strategy, membership engagement and internal communications.

To advise and work alongside the National Management Team, National Executive Committee and partners to devise and implement communications campaigns and projects.

To assist in maximising the potential for union growth, development and success, and to encourage membership participation through robust communication strategies.

To undertake a management role with direct responsibility for staff ensuring that the work of the communications team is in line with the wider objectives of the union.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Key areas

• Lead on, develop and implement internal and external communication strategies that align with the union's overall goals
• Create and oversee communication materials such as the creation of promotional and informative materials, digital campaigns, print materials, social media, audio and video
• Conduct quality controls on all communications, ensuring that all union communications and materials have consistent and positive messaging and branding

• Contribute to the strategic development of the Unions policy objectives including the PCS planning process
