This role offers the opportunity to plan, create & deliver a variety of communications, leading on design and digital deliverables across internal & external channels for Glass Door Homeless Charity.  

The Digital Communication Officer works in the Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications & Fundraising and manage Glass Door design, web & socials.  

Through this role, we will deliver a robust plan of impactful and on-brand content, raising the profile of our work and ensuring we are known amongst existing and new audiences in London

Editorial & Design 

• Ability to produce fresh, emotive and informative content across print & digital platforms - including profiles of guests, news stories, blogs and speeches

• Lead on design and delivery across the organisation – digital & print: including posters, informative leaflets, presentations, graphics and images for social media, newsletters and website as needed 

• Work collaboratively across the organisation to solicit content from other members of staff, including caseworkers, operations and fundraising colleagues to support Communications’ strategic aims 

• Support the design of campaigns, appeals & events - working alongside the Head of Comms & Fundraising, and key members of the fundraising team to bring alive the vision of the campaign. 

• Co-lead on our work with content producers (photographers, videographers, designers, etc), ensuring content meets Glass Door’s standards and is signed off by appropriate staff members

• Maintain Sharepoint for digital content – including photos, social images, video and written content 

• Provide quality-control support (eg proof-reading and editing) on all materials outside of the Comms team and externally, ensuring all content, imagery and branding are consistent with house style and on brand 

• Create & deliver video content to support the digital strategy and on an ad-hoc basis 

Digital

• Manage and maintain all social media accounts in-line with Glass Door's social media guidelines, focusing on building awareness, driving traffic and increasing engagement

• Manage and update Glass Door's website in-line with the digital strategy and content planner 

• Co-develop & oversee a digital content calendar 

• Co-manage delivery of multiple/congruent campaigns, appeals and events to engage existing and attract new supporters, often working alongside key members of other teams including fundraising, operations and advocacy teams. 

• Support with digital marketing, working closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Officer, Head of Comms & Fundraising Team to plan, track and successfully deliver paid and organic digital journeys.

Monitor impact 

• Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing Officer to ensure all conversions of paid promotion are tracked effectively and efficiently

The organisation:
We are excited to be partnering with an inspiring international development charity who are looking to appoint a Communications Consultant for an initial 6 month period. They are seeking a seasoned Consultant who can hit the ground running to support the communications function at the charity. The consultant will play a key enabling role — easing the load on senior leaders, assessing ways of working, and helping to sharpen brand strategy and external visibility.

• Provide direct support to the Director by taking ownership of communications decisions and delivery, enabling them to focus on strategic leadership.

What's on offer:
This role is offering a day rate of £430 PAYE, inside IR35, for this 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week in their London office, starting in September.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Communications and Events Coordinator lead the development and delivery of Khulisa’s communications strategy and key campaigns, designed to engage our supporters, stakeholders, and the wider UK public.

About Khulisa: 

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime.

Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we also work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester. 

About the role: 

This role will be a key part of helping to raise awareness of Khulisa’s mission and the issues we address, strengthening support for our programmes. The postholders will also take ownership of planning and delivering all Khulisa events, ensuring they are impactful and well-executed.

• Develop and deliver Khulisa’s Communications and Branding Strategy in line with the strategic plan.

The post holder will be required to work from home permanently but be willing and able to easily travel to various locations across the London and the North West as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role and to engage with stakeholders and colleagues.

The Purpose of the Role

As Director of Communications, UK, you lead IRC UK’s core communications strategy with the objectives of growing our profile, influencing policy, driving income, and building our reputation. This is done by taking a strategic approach to generating effective messaging for cross-team use, creatively collaborating to produce cut-through external products across media and digital channels, and generating top tier media coverage in collaboration with communications, advocacy and fundraising colleagues globally. In this role you will be expected to use expert judgment to manage IRC UK’s reputation, as well as ensure media and digital outputs protect clients, staff and programming from harm. 

The Director will report to the UK Executive Director and the Acting Senior Director of Global Public Affairs. The Director will collaborate closely with the Director for Digital Engagement, UK Advocacy Director, and the Director of UK Mass Markets to meet the organization’s strategic objectives surrounding profile, income and influence.

Scope and Authority

Authority:

●The role holder sets strategic direction for UK communications, with a focus on earned media, public advocacy and organic digital.

●The role oversees the UK comms operational budget, with access to the Global External Relations budget.

●The role has the authority to brief journalists with agreed messaging and act as spokesperson for the organisation.

●The Director will line manage the communications team and other positions when required.

●The role is a key member of the UK Senior Management Team, with collective responsibility for the leadership, culture and efficacy of IRC UK.

Key Working Relationships

Strategic Direction

●Raise IRC UK's profile, income, influence and brand in the UK market by developing and delivering a 360 comprehensive communications & marketing strategy that reaches target audiences, attracts new supporters, and connects supporters with IRC clients.

Team Management & Stakeholder engagement

Job Purpose

· To help make SFM the destination for media as the voice for food in schools

· To help increase media coverage for our work across all platforms (print, TV/Radio, digital)

· To develop and maintain our vibrant social media presence

Key Tasks include

· Writing and reviewing editorial, case study and blog content to maintain SFM’s voice

· Work with our Web Developer to maintain the School Food Matters website

· Diary planning to make best use of events and media moments to highlight our work in the media

Help shape the voice of rheumatology and make a difference to people living with rheumatic conditions. We’re looking for a creative and proactive marketing and communications professional to join BSR.  The post-holder will support the planning and implementation of marketing and digital campaigns for a wide range of BSR projects, connecting us with our community. Managed by the Marketing and Communications Manager, the role is responsible for planning and building powerful marketing emails and newsletters in Dotdigital, creating digital assets, running social media content, running paid campaigns, and providing performance reports and insights. The role also includes updating website content, advising on SEO and user experience, and using analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office, this new position of Internal Communications and Team Executive, will play a key role in delivering high-quality internal communications across ARUK. The Internal Communications Team exists to ensure every employee feels valued, included and informed. We are facilitators, ensuring employees have the tools they need to feel heard and empowered to engage authentically within the organisation, leading us closer to a cure.

Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Officer, they will be a key member of the Chief Executive Office Team. They will also provide administrative support to the team, the Director of Strategy and Governance and our Board of Trustees to carry out their roles efficiently and to support delivery of ARUK’s strategy and CEO office team objectives.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Internal Communications

· Manage monthly intranet metrics and reporting.

· Support teams on Internal Communications events, including the all-employee away day, annual picnics, Monthly Coffee Mornings, Board/Trustee activity, and other relevant areas.

· Work as part of the Internal Communications Team to deliver regular CEO Comms.

· Support the wider CEO Office Team with their internal communications needs.

Strategy and Governance

· Work with the Director of Strategy and Governance to provide support on key priority projects relating to strategy delivery and internal communications.

· Support the Executive Support team in providing administrative support to the Chief Executive and other Directors as required, including completing expenses, arranging travel and booking meeting rooms.

We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. Community Energy is gaining momentum nationally, where people are increasingly coming together to take control of their own energy supplies.  Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE, pronounced “juice”) is looking to see communities along the Grand Union canal in Hertfordshire enjoy a clean and resilient energy system that benefits all.  We develop, support and promote renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for local communities from Watford to Tring, and build householder resilience by helping them reduce their bills and energy use.

About the role

• Oversee and deliver email marketing campaigns with targeted content and personalisation to maximise engagement.
• Coordinate online and face-to-face events from a marketing and communications perspective to ensure strong attendance and experience.
• Support PR, media and thought leadership activity to increase brand reach and reinforce HACT’s sector voice.
• Build effective working relationships across teams and stakeholders to develop marketing briefs, assets and cross-channel campaign plans.
• Continuously review and evolve marketing and campaign processes to increase impact, relevance and return on investment.

Required Skills

• Proven experience of planning, delivering and reporting on end-to-end marketing campaigns.
• Strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, CRM tools and campaign reporting
• Experience applying segmentation, targeting and personalisation to improve campaign outcomes.
• Confident content creation and copywriting skills across web, email, social and print formats.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work flexibly.
• A proactive, collaborative, and resilient mindset, able to manage a varied and fast-paced workload.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate campaign data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Marketing campaign planning and delivery across all HACT product and service areas.
• CRM-led customer communications and audience engagement journeys.
• Performance marketing KPIs and campaign impact reporting.
• Content creation for digital campaigns, websites and social channels.
• Event marketing and promotion planning and execution.
• Supporting broader communications activity including PR, media and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensuring HACT’s brand and tone of voice are consistently applied across all marketing outputs.
