Are you a finance professional with a passion for social impact? We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our dedicated team at Solihull Care Housing Association (SCHA), where we’re committed to delivering safe, affordable, and sustainable housing across our communities.

We are a small, dynamic housing association, registered with the Regulator for Social Housing; we manage 156 homes across the Solihull area. We pride ourselves on being close to our customers and collaborative in our approach.

This is a new role as we review our 10-year business plan, focusing on property and services improvements, potential new developments and offering value for money, this is an exciting time to join us.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation. You’ll lead on budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

This role is both strategic and operational, involving close collaboration with our board, CEO and colleagues, as well as external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified accountant, ready to play a key advisory role in a small business and willing to adopt a hands-on approach when necessary. The finance team also includes a part-time finance officer and an assistant.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing monthly and annual financial reporting
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
• Supporting the senior leadership team with financial insights and analysis
• Overseeing a small finance team and promoting continuous improvement

Role Overview 

The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online. 

This is an exciting time for SportsAid as we expand the support we offer beyond financial assistance, building on the foundations already in place. As part of our evolving approach, we are strengthening the educational resources available to them, ensuring they have access to the guidance and tools they need to thrive both on and off the field. 

The role focuses on identifying athlete-led needs, curating training and workshop programmes, and working with external trainers and providers to deliver impactful sessions that best support SportsAid’s beneficiaries. 

A key aspect of the role is developing educational and training content for the new online community engagement platform we are developing. You will ensure content aligns with SportsAid’s objectives while meeting the priorities of partners funding dedicated hubs within the platform, which will provide training and development content in specific focus areas. You will also help adapt training sessions into engaging, shareable online resources to maximise participation and impact. 

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in planning workshop programmes for key events such as SportsAid Live, ensuring sessions are engaging, relevant, and tailored to the needs of attendees. 

This is a unique opportunity to shape SportsAid’s athlete development strategy, creating a collaborative, engaging, and needs-led programme that makes a lasting impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Development 

• Develop and coordinate a holistic learning and development programme for athletes, parents, and caregivers, addressing key areas such as financial literacy, mental wellbeing, career readiness, and communication skills. 

• Identify athlete-led needs and curate relevant educational training programmes, ensuring they align with the challenges faced by young athletes. 

• Build and maintain relationships with external trainers and subject matter experts, ensuring content meets SportsAid’s high standards and is tailored to beneficiary needs. 

• Work with trainers and providers to shape session content, ensuring clarity, relevance, and engagement for athletes and their support networks. 

• Develop structured training strands with corporate partners that align with partnership agreements and engagement objectives. 

• Devise workshop programmes for events such as SportsAid Live, ensuring sessions are interactive, impactful, and meet the needs of attendees. 

• Oversee the development of digital training content to enhance learning and engagement for our online community. 

Training Coordination and Resource Development 

• Coordinate the delivery of training programmes by external trainers through in-person workshops and online webinars. 

• Develop bite-sized digital resources from training materials to be used on our new online community engagement platform, ensuring accessibility and engagement. 

• Ensure that training content aligns with corporate partnership agreements, such as the RBC initiative, and meets funder expectations for educational outcomes. 

• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, facilitator briefings, and content alignment with SportsAid’s objectives. 

• Ensure training materials and sessions are inclusive and tailored to diverse audiences. 

Engagement and Feedback 

• Engage with athletes, parents, and caregivers to gather feedback on training sessions and resources, ensuring the programme evolves to meet their needs. 

• Monitor platform usage and session participation, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. 

• Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment that encourages peer-to-peer engagement and shared experiences. 

Evaluation and Reporting 

• Evaluate the impact of the training programme on athletes’ personal and professional development, using data to inform future improvements. 

• Provide regular reports to senior leadership and funders, demonstrating the programme’s outcomes and alignment with organisational goals. 

• Stay informed about trends in athlete education, learning delivery, and digital engagement to ensure SportsAid’s approach remains innovative and impactful. 

Person Specification 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Proven experience in developing and managing learning and development programmes, including working with external trainers or subject matter experts. 

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes to deadlines. 

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with experience working across teams, organisations, or sports. 

• Experience in curating and shaping educational/training content, ensuring it aligns with audience needs and engagement objectives. 

• Experience developing digital learning resources and ensuring effective content delivery on online platforms. 

• A commitment to creating needs-led, inclusive, and accessible training programmes for diverse audiences. 

Desirable Skills and Experience 

• Knowledge or experience in areas such as financial literacy, mental wellbeing, or life skills development. 

• Familiarity with Mighty Networks or similar platforms for community engagement and learning delivery. 

• Experience working within a charity, sports organisation, or educational setting, particularly supporting young people or athletes. 

Hours of work: Part-time position, approx. 28 working hours a week (4 days per week), some evening and weekend work may be required from time to time, reasonable flexible work options are available.

As we prepare to launch an ambitious £150 million philanthropic campaign, we are seeking a strategic and driven Prospect Development Manager to lead the delivery of insight-driven prospect management across the Philanthropy and Partnerships Directorate.

You will play a critical role in creating a steady pipeline of new potential supporters for the fundraising teams, as well as helping shape the data and analytics strategy that will measure the impact of our campaign.

You will ensure that business-as-usual activity—such as briefing materials, due diligence, fundraiser portfolio reviews, prospect research, and insight—is delivered to a high standard, with the understanding that over the course of the campaign, these activities will be undertaken primarily in service of the campaign itself, rather than in addition to it

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is passionate about understanding and engaging supporters who make transformational change possible.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Strategy and Planning

· Develop and implement the prospect development strategy to support the successful delivery of a new High Value campaign and long-term income growth.

· Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between, BAU, campaign goals and supporter engagement strategies.

· Lead on campaign data reporting, impact measurement, and forecasting to inform decision-making across the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships teams.

· Ensure the team are maximising the power of AI within Prospect Development.

· Own the campaign Gift Table and utilise it as a key management tool.

· Lead on the strategic planning, income pipeline modelling, and campaign progress reporting.

· Proactively identify, assess, and manage operational and strategic risks within the team, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations.

Prospect Management and Research

· Lead the identification, qualification, and tracking of new major donor and partner prospects across individual, corporate, and foundation giving.

· Design processes to engage volunteers and donors in identifying their key contacts who might be strong major prospects

· Lead on the design and delivery of regular portfolio reviews for relationship managers, using data and insight to optimise pipelines.

· Produce and manage the delivery of high-quality biographies, briefings, and due diligence for meetings and events.

· Work collaboratively with fundraisers to proactively identify new opportunities and ensure prospects are moved through the pipeline efficiently.

· Work with our Research team on potential and current Research Partners, allowing us to be strategic across all of our high value audiences.

· Maintain and continuously improve prospect tracking systems and data quality.

Campaign Insight and Impact

· Design and oversee reporting mechanisms that track the performance and progress of the campaign.

· Provide regular insight and trend analysis to campaign leadership and fundraising teams.

· Use data and supporter intelligence to shape cultivation and solicitation strategies.

Team Management

· Manage and develop a small, high-performing team (currently two direct reports), setting clear goals, providing coaching, and supporting professional development.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and supporter-centric thinking.

· Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is provided to fundraisers and stakeholders across the organisation.

What we are looking for:

· Proven experience in prospect development, prospect research, or fundraising insight in a philanthropic or partnership-focused environment.

· Strong understanding of Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships Fundraising.

· Proficient in using CRM systems and prospect research tools.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.

· Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce briefings and profiles to a high standard.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Role Requirements

You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.

You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.

You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The Role

The Forbes Mellon Librarian has overall responsibility for the management, development, and planning of the Forbes Mellon Library, Law Reading Rooms, and College Archives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic support to students, Fellows, staff, and external researchers.

The Forbes Mellon Librarian leads the library team, represents the College in intercollegiate and Cambridge University library forums, and ensures that the College’s library and academic skills contribution integrates with that of the wider University.

The Role
As Team Leader (Court Services) you will be in a crucial role, responsible for the effective delivery of the Witness Service within your courts. The successful posholder will cover a number of courts. It's expected that cover will be needed in Blackburn Magistrates' Court Monday - Wednesdays and Burnley Courts Thursday - Fridays, but depending on trials and volunteer availability there will need to be flexibility to cover Burnley Magistrates Court, Crown Court and Blackburn across the full 5 days per week as well.

You will manage, motivate and develop a team of volunteers who support witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.

You will also develop and maintain key local stakeholder relationships with a view to promoting partnership working, and enhancing service delivery standards and effectiveness.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) are recruiting for an Expert by Experience Coordinator to join our supportive and growing team. The Expert by Experience Coordinator is a new role in our small dynamic charity. The postholder will work to ensure the voices and perspectives of individuals with lived experience of asylum and forced migration are integrated into the design and delivery of AFRIL services and policy work. This role involves facilitating communication, promoting co-production, and empowering individuals to share their expertise to improve services and guide policy priorities. 

The post involves coordinating our monthly Members Forum, and working with the core team to feed this into policy and service development, alongside thematic and sometimes practical support to our Allotment Steering Group, Rainbow Club Youth Council and Asylum Hotel Residents Forum. The postholder will develop the AFRIL ambassadors scheme, creating opportunities for former clients to continue to be involved in shaping AFRIL, and work with the Director to develop a governance level co-production structure as agreed with the Board of Trustees. 

We are looking for a good people person, able to engage and inspire others, who demonstrates a collaborative approach to working with a range of stakeholders and in particular AFRIL clients who come from a variety of backgrounds. The postholder will be highly organised, have good project planning and execution skills, and a good working knowledge of the issues affecting refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. • Destitution Support - a fortnightly Food Bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church providing food, food vouchers, toiletries, and other essentials, alongside a warm hub with free cafe, information and support. Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data. 

• Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment. 

• Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status. 

We also use our frontline experience, together with our clients, to engage in Policy and influencing work to improve the services and policies that impact our client group. This includes advising the GLA on 3 asylum related working groups, and as a member of the London Housing Panel.

A key focus will be the collaborative development of person-centred recovery plans that emphasise social goals and community integration. Using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches, they will build strong therapeutic relationships to support individuals in achieving their personal recovery goals. The role involves helping service users access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, or psychoeducational groups. They will promote recovery-focused, jargon-free communication, advocate for co-production and integrated care, and liaise with statutory and voluntary sector organisations to ensure smooth service navigation and warm handovers. Attendance at relevant clinical meetings and community events is expected, representing both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team. Accurate and timely documentation of support activities, risk assessments, and user progress is essential, along with maintaining safe and ethical practice in line with safeguarding protocols, health and safety procedures, and quality standards. The role also includes active participation in ongoing supervision, training, professional development, annual appraisals, and clinical oversight.
