About the role

We are seeking an individual giving officer to support the development and delivery of our individual giving programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our fundraising team, helping to grow income and deepen engagement from our supporter base.

Key duties

• Assist in the planning and implementation of individual giving campaigns that deliver sustainable income growth and long-term donor engagement
• Manage supporter engagement and acquisition across multiple channels including social media, email, SMS, direct mail, and online campaigns
• Work closely with the fundraising, research, and communications teams to ensure successful delivery of individual giving activities
• Oversee data selection for campaigns to optimise return on investment and support testing; ensure data is managed securely and in line with GDPR

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience managing projects across direct marketing channels, including both digital and print

AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer).  The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.  

The role of the Events and Campaigns Lead is to plan and implement a wide range of high quality, responsive activities, including fundraising campaigns via social media, and developing relationships with supporter ambassadors, and planning and organising regional events, throughout the year.   

The role also involves working with the CEO and wider team on AMMF’s major events, such as Westminster receptions, nurse study days, and the annual 3-day conference.

Digital Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a creative, data-driven and results orientated Digital Fundraising Officer to help us grow our income and supporter base through engaging and innovative digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate fundraising team, playing a vital role in delivering digital-first fundraising activity and supporter engagement across multiple digital channels. The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, communications and digital teams. They will also work closely with the Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to support with planning, implementing, optimising and reporting on World Horse Welfare’s digital fundraising and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering successful digital campaigns within a fundraising or non-profit context, with strong skills in delivering and optimising paid social campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta and TikTok. They should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio and SEO platforms. The candidate must be highly organised, proactive, data-driven, a good collaborator, with the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy the creative side of digital fundraising, with a passion for creating compelling content for the various digital campaigns.

This position is based remotely, although you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation. Science communication sits at the heart of everything we do at CSC. In this role, you’ll continue to deliver inspiring STEM engagement first-hand at our venues, while also leading and developing our dynamic team of Science and Weekend Communicators.

You will foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, taking responsibility for training schedules and rota management. Working Conditions

The primary locations for this role will be Cambridge Science Centre's Head Office at 44 Clifton Road, Cambridge, CB1 7ED (assigned desk or workspace) and the Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FN (hotdesking model).

Working one weekend every three weeks, depending on Centre capacity. CSC plans rotas at least 4 weeks in advance to avoid consecutive weekend commitment where possible to do so.

In addition, there will be frequent travel (primarily driving with a company or hire vehicle) to the semi-permanent centre (Inspire Wisbech Centre, Wisbech, PE13 1AR) and, on occasion a variety of locations across the East of England, including schools and community venues, which will include occasional overnight stays.

We offer the option of flexible hybrid working where and when possible, when not delivering sessions.

JOB PURPOSE 

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for organising, coordinating, and providing logistical support for a range of both external and internal events for Start Network. The post-holder will possess excellent communication and organisation skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues, members and external stakeholders. 

The Event Coordinator will be expected to manage events within an agreed budget, delivering high-quality and engaging experiences. They will also be adept at negotiating with suppliers and vendors, and have a flexible, solutions-focused approach to handling challenges. 

This role sits within the Communications team and will report to the Communications Manager, while working closely with various teams across the organisation.

The key focus of the role will be the planning, coordination, and execution of Start Network’s flagship membership events, including the Annual Assembly and Hub Events (Hub Connect and Hub Fellowship). 

The Event Coordinator will also support the organisation’s participation in external events in close collaboration with the Advocacy team.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
• Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.

• Provide weekly updates on targets and expected income, and work to provide accurate forecasting.

Events Fundraising

• Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
• Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
• Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.

General Duties

• Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.

Job Profile

CAFOD’s mission in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and equip Catholics to actively engage in the Church’s efforts to overcome poverty and injustice. Our regional teams focus on recruiting and supporting a dedicated group of volunteers within parish and school communities, empowering them to educate, engage, and inspire others to act in solidarity for the common good. Regional teams also collaborate with clergy and other representatives across the Catholic community to ensure CAFOD’s volunteer programme is aligned with faith life.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative and communications support to the Community Participation Coordinators across England and Wales, with a focus on the West & Wales region as the first point of contact. This includes coordinating administrative tasks performed by office volunteers and identifying opportunities for process improvements. This role can be based anywhere in the UK including our head office in London, working from home, from one of CAFOD’s Volunteer Centres, or a combination of both.
