The Role
We are looking for a Community & Events Fundraiser to play a pivotal role in maximising event and supporter-led fundraising income. 
 
You will develop and deliver growth strategies within your area of responsibility (across mass-participation events, virtual events & supporter-led fundraising) with support from the Head of Community and Events. You will also build great internal relationships with colleagues to enable delivery of the community & events programme. 

What you'll do
 

• Devise marketing plans, strategies and KPIs for community and events fundraising. 
• Create and deliver engaging multi-channel stewardship journeys, to maximise supporter lifetime value and experience. 
• Researching and developing new campaigns, marketing propositions and creative ideas. 
• Managing social media moderation for virtual challenge events.
• Providing excellent supporter stewardship to add value to the supporter relationship and maximise their fundraising efforts.
• Working collaboratively, briefing in requirements to teams such as social media, marketing and brand.

 
What you'll need
 

• Experience of working in a Fundraising role, preferably within Community and Events.
• Experience of motivating & inspiring supporters through excellent supporter stewardship to maximise fundraising efforts. 
• Experience of managing mass participation events and associated platforms & processes. 
• Experience of managing virtual challenge events, including moderation and associated platforms & processes.
• Great sector knowledge and insight to bring fresh ideas and approaches to the team.
• Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.
• A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).

We are seeking a proactive and creative Senior Events Fundraising Officer to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about events fundraising and eager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio. Job Description

Job purpose: To lead and develop Remember A Charity’s marketing and communications programme, in line with our core mission of making legacy giving a social norm. This core focus of the role is on growing and engaging our audiences across the charity sector (members and non-members) and professional adviser communities (solicitors, Will-writers, wealth advisers).

The Marketing Manager will also contribute to the development of our consumer PR, marketing and digital programmes, led by the Director and Digital Communications Manager respectively.

• Manage and grow the Campaign Supporter scheme for solicitors and Will-writers, delivering engaging communications and digital content that keeps charitable giving front of mind.
• Promote the importance of referencing the charitable option during Will-writing to professional advisers through events, direct marketing, social media, and advertising.
• Coordinate the campaign’s Legal Sector Advisory Group, organising quarterly meetings and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to engage wider professional audiences and influential groups within and beyond the legal sector, including but not limited to, wealth managers, Will-writing software providers, local government, regulatory and trade bodies (e.g. CILEX, CLC, NALP).
• Collaborate with CPD content providers to deliver training programmes on charitable Will-writing.
• Coordinate quarterly webinars for professional advisers on relevant Will-writing topics, working with internal and external partners.
• Create materials and promotional assets for professional advisers and campaign partners to equip them to advocate for legacies.

Consumers

• Contribute to the planning and delivery of consumer marketing and PR activity.
• Support members in making best use of the consumer-facing assets provided for them to use during Remember A Charity Week and beyond.

Experience & Skills

• Experience of planning and delivering successful marketing programmes.

Caudwell Youth exists to level the playing field for young people at risk.

They may be care experienced, have mental health challenges, be neurodivergent or be at risk of exploitation or offending.

Caudwell Youth is a dynamic new charity which has just celebrated its third birthday.

What we do 

Caudwell Youth shapes young people’s futures by providing person-centred support to at risk 11 to 24-year-olds through volunteer-led mentoring for up to 18-months, alongside a targeted intervention programme.

Our vision is to help every young person at-risk in the UK. We give young people the time, trust and support they need to shape a positive future, no matter their starting point. 

Our mentoring service is designed to ensure every young person feels safe, heard and supported. Each young person gains a trusted adult (a trained volunteer) who meets with them once a week to support them as they take steps towards a more positive future.  

This year, we have supported more than 400 young people.

We have a compelling fundraising proposition. We were founded by billionaire philanthropist John Caudwell, who has pledged to match all donations and fundraising at 33%.

Our mentoring service is delivering exceptional outcomes for young people, and we are ambitious for the future.

This is a crucial time for Caudwell Youth’s fundraising function, as we are set to embark on a new strategy for national growth in the new year. For the financial year just gone, grant income accounted for around 28% of our fundraising revenue.

Cavell is the charity that transforms the lives of nursing and midwifery professionals facing crisis and tough times. The need for Cavell has never been greater, and the charity is at its most critical point in its 108-year history as the demand for support is at an all-time high. Cavell is evolving their support offer to offer a Wellbeing Conversations service on a 12-month pilot aiming to help nursing and midwifery professionals to navigate feelings of stress, overwhelm or uncertainty.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.

This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively and communicating effectively to provide seamless coverage and share responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.
• Ensure exceptional record keeping, ensuring that all relevant data protection and privacy legislation is adhered to.
• Undertake administrative duties to support the delivery of the service, including data entry.
• Have regular peer supervision with their job-share.

Collaboration:

• Work with the Support Team, wider staff, and external stakeholders to identify common themes, challenges, and emerging issues affecting the nursing and midwifery workforce.
• Engage with referral partners and the funder to maintain effective working relationships.
• Signpost individuals to other services and sources of support, including where the Cavell Wellbeing Conversations service may not be appropriate for their needs.

The Funding and Insights Officer supports the Head of Funding and Partnerships (HFP) in delivering HACT’s fundraising and income generation objectives in line with the organisation’s business strategy. The postholder will play a key role in shaping HACT’s understanding of the external environment, including trends in housing, social impact, and innovation. Reporting to the HFP, they will contribute to fundraising applications to trusts, foundations, and corporates, support the services team in developing compelling and proposals for HACT’s research and consultancy work, and carry out desk-based market research to inform the activities of the marketing and customer teams.

The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
