Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum, pension paid at 4% contribution

What You’ll Be Doing:  

You’ll lead our Fundraising Team and line manage our dynamic and engaged fundraisers, supporting them from planning inspiring activities and events to supporting local fundraisers and volunteers all whilst upholding Snowdrop’s values and fundraising best practice.

• This person will take the lead in delivering the next 12 months of Snowdrop’s fundraising strategy, driving forward strategic development, implementing learning and further developing the fundraising team to deliver on its fundraising ambitions in line with the wider organisational strategy.
• The Head of Fundraising role sits within the Senior Leadership team at Snowdrop and is responsible to contribute to the overall leadership, strategic management and continued development of the organisation
• Leading on creating strategies for attracting new corporate donors and partnerships alongside driving forward our well-established corporate volunteering programme
• This person will work alongside and support Snowdrop’s trusts and grants fundraiser and support on large grant applications where necessary 
• Line management of the Donor Relations and Communications Manager and Community and Events Fundraising Manager, alongside the supervision of two consultants

Working with local communities and partners, you will help generate the learning and evidence required to fulfil the national change strategy through the delivery, development and testing of effective and evidence-informed practice.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of community groups, organisations, partnerships and networks across the Children's Community, Greater Manchester and nationally.

• Support the development and delivery of SSH CC's Local System Change and innovation agenda.

• Capture and share learning from local delivery to support national influence, including the creation of case studies, events and resources.

About You

To be successful, you should have:

• A strong background in engaging with families and communities to co-develop strategies and programmes.

• Skilled communicator with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences and platforms, with a strong understanding and application of digital tools for data collection, analysis, and communications (e.g. websites, social media).

The Advice and Advocacy Officer will provide holistic advice and advocacy to guests, supporting them on issues such as debt, welfare, housing, employment, and business support, in a trauma-informed and empowering way.

The postholder will be a key part of growing the Hub’s  Advice and Advocacy/ Pastoral / Wrap-around services, working as a team with our partners, providing support to guests and volunteers.

• Working with a Caseload of Guests on a 1-1 and group basis and providing support via multiple channels, including Telephone, Email, In Person, virtually, and other project locations, develop action/support plans

• Working with a caseload of guests to provide support/signpost

•  Facilitate group workshops, Coffee Mornings, and information sessions

• Provide Information, advice, guidance, and resilience

Yateley Industries is a unique and ambitious charity which has provided employment in our factory, training, accommodation and community engagement for disabled and neurodivergent adults for over 90 years. Our mission is to create a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive.

Job Purpose

This is a new role within Park Lodge Project. You will be responsible for researching and leading all fundraising bids, developing funding opportunities and working with service delivery colleagues to respond to opportunities. You will lead on all aspects of bid writing, including showcasing and reporting young people impact data.

You will work closely with the CEO and the Chair of the Fundraising Trustee Committee to support the strategy, development and delivery of identified opportunities. You will be the lead on organising key stakeholder events.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Bite Back, and support the delivery of our local, national and international campaigns. As Campaigns Executive, you will play a key role in building Bite Back’s Shape Our Streets programme, working with Local Authorities and young people locally to advocate for healthier food environments. You will support the coordination of Bite Back’s national campaigns to put youth voice front and centre, calling for a #CommercialBreak from junk food advertising, high streets that aren’t flooded with unhealthy products, and school food that supports young people to thrive. You will support the coordination of Bite Back’s youth model internationally to raise awareness of the global issue and build campaigns within different country contexts.

You’ll be creating change and protecting every young person’s right to a healthy childhood.

The Campaigns Executive will report to the Senior Campaigns Manager and will work closely with colleagues across Bite Back, in particular with our Programmes and Digital Communications teams.

Responsibilities

The Campaigns Executive responsibilities include:

● Providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support across national, local and international campaign workstreams.

● Helping to plan and deliver campaign events, such as in-person and online workshops: booking venues/managing online platforms, organising travel and materials, briefing staff and providing on-the-day support, occasionally outside standard working hours.

● Undertaking desk research, evidence-gathering and basic data analysis to inform our campaign activities, turning findings into briefings and/or presentations for internal teams.

● Contributing to brainstorms and ideation sessions with teams across Bite Back.

● Working with Campaigns and Communication colleagues to draft copy for supporter emails, social posts, web pages and briefing notes.

● Managing stakeholder lists (e.g. local council contacts, global partners) and occasionally joining meetings with external stakeholders.

● Providing ongoing support to UNICEF country offices throughout collaboration projects, building strong working relationships with country, regional, and HQ colleagues.

● Coordinating mentor sessions, for young people in several partnering countries on topics including research, policy and stakeholder engagement, community mobilisation, and media.

● Taking on additional tasks delegated by the Senior Campaigns Manager, contributing ideas and pitching in wherever needed during busy campaign moments.

Charity Fundraiser

The Vine Centre is looking to appoint a fundraiser.

The Vine Centre is a community based Charity offering inclusive support to those living in Rushmoor and its surrounding areas. We specialise in offering mental health, anger management and addiction support. Our offer also includes employment & training services, budgeting, energy support, IT skills and benefit support. We run social groups, yoga, therapeutic art and cookery classes. We run a community pantry which offers food to those most affected by the cost of living crisis.

The Vine Centre is a one stop shop for support working with the most vulnerable in our area our premises are in Aldershot but our reach is across Surrey & Hampshire. 

Previous experience necessary - good IT skills are required, particularly with MS Office, Word and Excel.

The role is offered at 18 hours at  £16,848 - (full-time equivalent 37.5 hours - £35,100). This includes 25 days (Pro-Rata) annual leave (plus bank holidays).
