As Finance Director, you will work closely and collaboratively with Amit Sharma (Artistic Director/ CEO) and Iain Goosey (Executive Director), supporting them as they lead Kiln Theatre through a period of transition and growth. As a key member of the Senior Team, the Finance Director will be responsible for Kiln Theatre's financial health and for ensuring that effective controls are in place and that all regulatory requirements are met.

You will lead and manage the Finance department, ensuring that the finance operation at Kiln operates to the highest standards and is effectively embedded within the organisation.

The Finance Director will play a major role in contributing to Kiln Theatre's business planning and strategic development, including identifying opportunities for efficiencies, supporting the resilience of the organisation for the future, ensuring compliance with best practice at all times and helping the company to fulfil its creative and financial ambitions.

The role will work with members of the Board, particularly the Finance & Risk Committee, as well as the external auditors. The Finance Director also oversees the finances for Kiln Theatre Ltd and its two subsidiaries - Tricycle Screen Ltd and Kiln London Productions Limited.

Fundraising Coordinator

Bexley Deaf Centre (BDC) is a small and dynamic, well-established charity which has been serving the borough since 1994. Our work is focussed exclusively on supporting people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. We work to raise awareness, break down barriers and promote understanding within the community.

About Us

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Duites and Responsibilities 

This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.

As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of securing income directly from corporates for charity, both winning and securing new partnerships as well as maintaining and developing existing supporters. They will be able to prioritise, manage pipelines, research, pitch and manage partnerships to increase their value.

Location

Hybrid, with one day a week working from our London (Brixton) office. Occasional travel required to Birmingham, evening or weekend work.

Alongside the Senior Children’s Pastor and Children’s Pastor (Infants and Babies), you will be responsible for pastoring the children of HT in Years 3–6 and their families, bringing hands-on leadership to the wider team involved in HT Kids, and reaching out to children and families in Cambridge who don’t yet know Jesus. A major part of this role will be managing staff and volunteers to increase their confidence and fruitfulness as they work with children. Carer Wellbeing Workers provide invaluable services to help improve carers’ resilience and ensure they are supported to maintain their caring roles. They provide tailored information and advice, practical, emotional and planning support, peer opportunities, contingency planning, active listening and through partnership working are pro-active in the identification of carers.

Using experience of working with adults and families, a working knowledge and / or lived experience of social care and health, the postholder will use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to offer carers one-to-one and group support either face to face, via the telephone or using virtual video mediums such as Zoom or MS Teams. 

The role is a mix of remote / homeworking and community venues. You will be expected to be readily able to travel across Adur, Arun and Worthing to deliver carer support and on occasion to venues across the County to attend meetings and training as required.

Connect: North Korea is a fast-growing charity supporting North Korean escapees to build new lives after experiences of systemic discrimination, poverty, and trauma.

Our organisational income has grown consistently year on year since we registered in 2018. The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

The BACCH is the organisation for paediatricians and other professions working in community child health. BACCH is a membership organisation that represents doctors and other professionals working in paediatrics and child health in the community. It is a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

About the role

As a Social Prescribing Link Worker within Primary Care, you’ll work with Wakefield’s communities, connecting people tolocal non-medical services, support, and activities that help tackle health inequalities and improve quality of life. You’ll:

• Support people one-to-one to identify their needs, set wellbeing goals, and access community-based solutions
• Be embedded within a local Primary Care Network and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Develop and grow strong partnerships with voluntary and community organisations, and NHS and social care services

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Are great listeners, relationship builders, and natural motivators
• Are experienced in supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing, including those with complex needs, or from diverse communities
• Are confident working independently and within multi-disciplinary teams

• Have a strong understanding of health inequalities and social determinants of health
• Have excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
• Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Systems Manager to join our team. As Operations and Systems Manager, you will ensure SMK’s operations are well managed, and make sure that we have all the processes, technology and policies needed to operate effectively. We’re looking for someone to take initiative to improve things where needed and bring their experience from elsewhere to the team.   

The Operations and Systems Manager will work closely with the CEO, Board and staff team of 6, and hold the relationships with our external IT, Accounting and HR providers. You will also play a key role within the organisation in shaping culture and supporting staff to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities.

Flexible and Hybrid Working

Our office base is located in central London. You need to be in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week and further Team Days and Board Away Days. Travel and accommodation for working at our London office is at the job-holders own expense. Expenses incurred for SMK business outside London are covered by the charity.

The 15hours per week can be worked flexibly across Monday to Thursday, with a preference for them to include at least part of Monday and Tuesday to accommodate our weekly team meetings (Monday mornings) and Board Meetings which occur quarterly (Tuesday afternoons)..
