Salary: £33,220 - £38,370 per annum if based in London. £30,645 -£35,795 per annum if based in Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle or Bristol. Salary banding is dependent on the skills and experience criteria detailed below. £312 yearly tax-free work from home allowance. Salaries are reviewed annually in August.

ROLE SUMMARY
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and ambitious fundraiser with experience in trusts, foundations and/or corporate fundraising to join upReach as we deliver our three-year strategy (2024–2027). The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of upReach through the development and stewardship of relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, and by helping secure five and six figure grants and gifts.
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role will manage a portfolio of funders and help the wider team to meet income targets. You will work collaboratively across the organisation including the delivery and impact teams, finance, partnerships, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with stakeholders (internal and external)

Develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with key external contacts, including funders and volunteers.

Make the fundraising ‘ask’ as and when appropriate.

Fundraising

Independently manage a portfolio of charitable trusts & foundations, and corporate supporters, giving at the five and six figure level. Steward these relationships delivering the highest levels of donor care.

Research and identify potential new funding opportunities to build the team’s pipeline.

Lead on the cultivation of your own pipeline of new funders, working creatively to find opportunities to engage organisations with our work.

Develop compelling, comprehensive funding proposals for trusts & foundations and companies, to renew existing partnerships and secure funding from new organisations.

Work closely with colleagues in the Data & Impact and Programmes team to prepare and write donor reports and other impact communications.

Contribute to the smooth delivery of philanthropic corporate partnerships including employee engagement, staff fundraising activities and volunteering.

Prepare and thoroughly brief senior colleagues ahead of meetings with potential and existing funders.
Financial

Contribute to team fundraising income target (circa £2m) in line with the overarching strategy.

Help track progress against income targets and report on performance regularly to the fundraising team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful, it is anticipated that you will have experience working in a fundraising role within a charity or similar environment. The ideal candidate should display these skills:

Significant experience working in a fundraising or similar role within a charity or nonprofit setting, to include writing funding proposals and stewardship reports.

Knowledge of high value fundraising techniques including a clear understanding of prospecting, cultivating, securing and managing partnerships.

Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and oral, with the ability to turn complex ideas into concise and effective cases for support.

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Overall job purpose
In recent years, CCT has experienced great success in applying to grant funders, including Trust and Foundations, Landfill Communities Fund, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial. We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.
The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.
There will be requirement for occasional travel for project visits and team meetings.

Overview
The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Fundraising Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support for our fundraising activities. The Fundraising Assistant will play a key role in generating vital income and helping the organisation achieve its fundraising goals by assisting with donor relations, event planning, grant research, data management, and campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Support and Stewardship:
- Become a ‘super’ user of the CRM/database.
- Maintain donor records in the CRM/database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Help with the acknowledgment process, including sending thank-you letters and recognition communications to donors.
- Assist in coordinating donor communications and outreach campaigns (e.g., newsletters, appeals, and stewardship materials).
Event Support:

About the Role
We have a strong Fundraising & Communications team with a clear strategy in place to achieve growth of voluntary income from £2.7m-£4.1m a year by 2028. Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a creative and organised communicator who thrives on bringing people together through compelling campaigns and memorable events. You'll be confident managing multiple projects, with a flair for storytelling and a strong grasp of how to engage audiences both digitally and in person.
You should have experience in marketing, fundraising, or events and be comfortable leading on campaign planning, content creation, and supporter engagement. A keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Duties will include but not be limited to:

Role: Fundraising Officer
Location: Hybrid (home-based with occasional travel to Ely and surrounding areas)
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours/week
Salary: £27,000–£32,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: : Initial fixed-term 12 months (with potential to extend if targets are achieved)

Ely Foodbank is committed to supporting people facing hardship in our communities. While we are best known for our emergency food support, we are expanding our work to include financial resilience, advice services, and our Hardship Fund which helps clients with non-food essentials.
As a small, dynamic and growing charity, we are seeking a proactive and creative Fundraising Officer who can help us develop and deliver a diverse and sustainable fundraising strategy.

Job Purpose
The Fundraising Officer will lead on generating income from a wide variety of sources, including community fundraising, individual giving, grant applications, events, and corporate partnerships. This role will play a key part in securing the funds needed to support our expanding services and help us meet growing demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Income Generation & Relationship Building
- Develop and deliver creative fundraising initiatives across various income streams (grants, individuals, events, corporates, community groups).
- Research and apply for funding from local trusts, foundations, and statutory sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, funders, local businesses, and community organisations.
- Manage stewardship journeys to retain donors and encourage repeat giving.
- Create supporter journeys that encourage long-term relationships and increased giving.
Event Planning & Campaign Delivery
- Plan and deliver Ely Foodbank-led events and manage supporter involvement.
- Support third-party fundraising activities and provide fundraising toolkits.
- Attend community fairs, school assemblies, and local events to promote fundraising.
- Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns in line with Ely Foodbank’s calendar.
- Coordinate local fundraising events and campaigns including challenge events, seasonal campaigns, and third-party events.
- Provide support and guidance to community fundraisers and volunteers.
- Represent Ely Foodbank at local events, talks, and networking meetings.
Supporter & Community Engagement
- Build partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, and local groups.
- Deliver inspiring presentations and talks about the foodbank’s work.
- Support and recognise volunteers and fundraising champions in the community.
-- Use fundraising platforms (e.g., LocalGiving) to facilitate giving and track results.
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation in fundraising (e.g., QR codes, virtual events).
Administration & Compliance
- Ensure all supporter and donation data is accurately recorded and stored in line with GDPR.
- Track income, provide financial reports, and support gift aid processes.
- Liaise with finance colleagues to ensure proper reconciliation of donations.
- Monitor fundraising KPIs and adapt strategies based on performance insights.
Organisational Contribution
- Collaborate with colleagues across the foodbank to identify funding needs.
- Contribute to the development of the annual fundraising strategy and budgeting.
- Represent Ely Foodbank at local networking and sector events.
- Stay up to date with fundraising trends, regulations, and training opportunities.
Digital Fundraising & Communications
- Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations.
- Use tools such as JustGiving, Localgiving or other digital platforms to facilitate giving.
- Collaborate with CEO and colleagues to promote campaigns and celebrate supporter impact.
Monitoring, Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of donors, supporters, and income using CRM software (Monday).
- Monitor KPIs and report on fundraising progress to the CEO and Board.
- Ensure all fundraising activities are compliant with regulations and best practice (e.g. GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice).
Person Specification:
Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience of fundraising or relevant transferable skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with donors, supporters, and external partners.
- Confident with digital tools including social media and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
- Alignment with Ely Foodbank’s mission and values.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with corporate, trust and grant fundraising.
- Experience in community fundraising or donor engagement.
- Knowledge of fundraising compliance and GDPR.
- Familiarity with CRM databases and digital platforms.
- Driving licence and access to a car.
