We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach with schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). Flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

This role involves working within a multidisciplinary NHS team to support adults with moderate to severe mental illness by holding a caseload of service users and serving as their key contact throughout care planning, progress monitoring, and discharge, using the RiO system. The post-holder collaborates with individuals to develop person-centred recovery plans focused on social goals and community integration, building therapeutic relationships through trauma-informed, strength-based approaches. They support access to local resources, appointments, wellbeing activities, and peer or psychoeducational groups, while promoting recovery-focused, jargon-free communication and advocating for co-production and integrated care. Liaising with statutory and voluntary organisations ensures smooth service navigation and warm handovers, while active participation in clinical meetings and community events helps represent both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team. The role also requires accurate documentation of all support activity, adherence to safeguarding and health and safety procedures, and engagement in supervision, training, and continuous professional development.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 4 in Care or possess at least two years' experience working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of mental health issues, recovery principles, and co-production. They will have a solid grasp of care planning, risk assessment, recovery tools, and relevant legislation such as the Mental Health Act. The role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, alongside the ability to facilitate groups effectively. Candidates must be confident using IT systems, including electronic case management tools, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed practice is essential, as is resilience, adaptability, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries. The Detention Outreach Caseworker is a full-time post on a 12-month renewable contract, joining a small team at the JRS UK offices in Wapping, working closely with the Detention Outreach Manager.

The JRS UK Detention Outreach project supports individuals who are detained in the Heathrow Immigration Removal Centres (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook). This busy and varied role focuses on combining accompaniment, practical support, and assistance to those in immigration detention, especially those who are most vulnerable and struggle to self-advocate. The Detention Outreach Caseworker will make referrals to solicitors and partner organisations where appropriate and liaise with Immigration Services, detention centre staff and others as needed.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will occasionally support individuals who are released from, but continue to be affected by, immigration detention. Through relationships built across the NGO sector, they will refer individuals to local organisations who can most appropriately assist with reintegration into the community. They will provide in-depth and pro-active support to high-need individuals supported in detention who continue to require long-term accompaniment on release.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be responsible for managing their own caseload and work closely with the Detention Outreach Manager to identify themes and trends arising from immigration detention to contribute to the organisations wider strategic work. The post-holder should have a good understanding of and empathy with the issues and challenges faced by asylum-seekers and refugees, with particular focus on immigration detention. They will need highly developed listening skills, personal resilience and emotional maturity to respond to the emotional and practical needs of asylum seekers, accompanying them and supporting them to positively progress with their lives. They need to have and maintain an up-to-date knowledge about the immigration and asylum context as it relates to our work in immigration detention.

The Detention Outreach Caseworker will be enthusiastic about working in a small faith-based organisation and have a willingness to integrate JRS UK’s ethos of accompaniment in their approach whilst also demonstrating sensitivity in responding to the needs of destitute and detained individuals. About Us:

Hertfordshire Mind Network deliver essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from our seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county. Funded locally, our services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18 and we offer dedicated services for 5–18-year-olds.

We help individuals experiencing mental ill health to make choices, find their solutions, build resilience and manage their wellbeing. We offer opportunities for individuals to get support to allow them to recover from or live with mental ill health.

Each year, we help 15,000 people experiencing mental ill health.

About the Role

Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) is a local Mind, we are an independent charity, although affiliated to national Mind – the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, we are not funded by our affiliation, we are responsible for raising our own funds directly through contracts, grants and fundraising.

As a Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role in expanding our fundraising activity across Hertfordshire. We’re looking for someone proactive and energetic, who can grow connections, raise our profile, and build lasting relationships across the community.

This role is an exciting opportunity to engage with a wide range of supporters – from individuals and community groups to local businesses and organisations – helping to raise both awareness and vital income for Hertfordshire Mind Network.

LUX is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director to help lead its next chapter. This new senior role, created to strengthen internal capacity, operational resilience, and strategic delivery, will work closely with the recently appointed Director, Ali Roche, to shape and implement a vision for the organisation’s future. LUX is a publicly funded arts organisation and accredited museum that supports and promotes visual artists working with the moving image. Based in London and Glasgow, it delivers a range of activities including exhibitions, screenings, educational projects, commissioning and research.

The Deputy Director main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and risk management aligned with organisational values and Arts Council Investment Principles.
• Co-lead the business plan and long-term strategy with the Director, translating goals into operational delivery.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, audits, payroll, procurement, cash flow, statutory reporting, and fundraising and income generation strategies, ensuring compliance and value for money.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to public funders, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure legal and governance compliance across charity, company, employment, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection; support the Board of Trustees with reports and governance documentation.
• Manage operations, including admin systems, IT, building maintenance, insurance, accessibility, sustainability, and lease compliance.

ADVICE SERVICE MANAGER

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advice Services Manager to join our team at Oasis Hub Waterloo. In the heart of the Waterloo community we run a busy and vibrant community space, open to all. A vital part of this work is our advice services – providing free and accessible debt, benefits, housing and immigration advice to local people. This work has grown over the last few years and we are now looking for an experienced and innovative advice worker, to lead a small team and ensure we are delivering excellent advice, in a holistic community setting.

Project Indigo Lead

• To lead on planning and facilitating group sessions, activities and trips for the Project Indigo group. Planning to incorporate the views and interests of members and develop opportunities for partnership working.

Main Requirements:

Part time role for 21 hours/three days per week, for a committed, motivated and suitably qualified individual to deliver counselling for people dealing with issues related to their sexual health, including people living with HIV.

METRO, in partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, deliver a model of sexual health support throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

We are seeking a committed, motivated and suitably qualified individual to deliver counselling for people dealing with issues related to their sexual health, including people living with HIV within the Support and Advice on Sexual Health (SASH) programme.  

The post holder will deliver high-quality person-centred service within a busy inner London environment. The clients are from diverse communities affected by sexual health and mental health issues. The role will support staff to work with people from diverse communities such as LGBTQ+ and the Global Majorities.

Turning Point is the lead partner for the contract, and a matrix staffing model is in place. The post-holder will work within the partnership and be line-managed by METRO SASH Counselling Services Manager, and work alongside staff from other agencies. The role will also be clinically supervised via an independent supervisor arranged through METRO.
