WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a central support role across the Fundraising Team, providing high-quality income, operational and stewardship support, with specialist activities for corporate, community and events fundraising.

You will:

• Be the first point of contact between fundraisers and Headway UK, helping to build initial relationships.
• Ensure effective income management working closely with the Finance Team.
• Help deliver supporter stewardship, welcoming and thanking our community, challenge events and individual supporters.
• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager, helping with our Corporate Membership and building our new business prospect pipeline.
• Attend key events, alongside the Events Team, including at the London Marathon, London Landmarks Half Marathon, Great North Run and our Annual Awards.  
• Represent Headway at community events, ensuring our supporters receive the best possible experience.

ABOUT YOU

The Senior Policy & Partnerships Officer will deliver policy and research projects and facilitate lived experience voice into Unseen’s policy, research and practice. You will also support the Head of Policy & Research in the coordination of the Southwest Anti-Slavery Partnership. Unseen facilitates the Avon & Somerset Anti-Slavery Partnership board, the Regional Anti-Slavery Partnership board and Bristol Modern Slavery Operational Partnership. We support the chairs of other force area partnerships in the region and act as a point of contact in the Southwest, driving forward responses to modern slavery in the region and providing advice and guidance to partners to improve their practice.

We are looking for someone with a proven record of developing collaboration and coproduction across services for people experiencing housing or homelessness issues people, to join us as a Project Coordinator. The role will oversee the development of Shelter’s participation in the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum. 

About this role 

Your role as Project Coordinator will further develop collaboration and coproduction across organisations who are member of the Norfolk Homelessness Solutions Forum. Specifically, this will involve project management for delivering the Forum’s objectives, overseeing the project communications plan and establishing and leading delivery working groups. You will oversee and support the work of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum’s Lived Experience Coordinator, act as an adviser on good practice for partners and ensure that co-production, collaboration and a person centred focus is at the heart of everything you do.

About you 

You will have experience of managing complex projects, including using a range of Project Management techniques and influencing system change using an evidence base. An outstanding and adaptable communicator, you will have experience of chairing meetings, delivering presentations and working in a multi-disciplinary context with external stakeholders. Your understanding and empathy for the people worst impacted by the housing emergency means you will be able to motivate partner organisations, championing the work of Shelter and the Forum within Norfolk.

The aim of the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum is to bring about system change for homelessness support in Norfolk, by ensuring that the people’s views are transferred into policies and practices that truly support and serve the community. The Forum helps with the sharing of best practice, identifying service gaps and developing strategy to reduce homelessness and rough sleeping.

We have been providing housing advice to the people of Norfolk for almost 30 years, with specialisms in housing legal advice and advocacy. Our team work out of our Community Hub in Norwich and across Norfolk in community settings. We work in partnership with other local services to address interconnected issues which may impact on our clients’ ability to keep a home. This also includes advice for residents of Kings Lynn in partnership with Broadland Housing and Norfolk Citizens Advice. We also deliver housing right awareness sessions to empower local communities to take action on housing issues.

Reset is a bold new incubation designed to dramatically change the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in England today for the better.

Reset exists for children who are on, or at risk of being placed on Deprivation of Liberty orders due to the high risks they face from themselves or others, their complex and intersecting needs, and due to the lack of effective support available.

The children Reset will support are likely to be aged 12 to 18 and face complex challenges that often stem from the impact of traumatic childhood experiences, such as mental ill-health, self-harming, being sexually and/or criminally exploited and getting caught in harmful risk-taking behaviours including the use of harmful substances such as drugs and alcohol.

To date, Purposeful has provided Reset with expertise and funding to complete an 18-month research, feasibility and development phase to enable the ground to be laid to establish the initial Reset Practice in Autumn 2026. By launching Reset as an incubation, Reset benefits from the oversight, governance, expertise, operations (HR, finance, and IT) and network of the Purposeful team while being able to focus on the delivery of creating Reset as an organisation that can have immediate impact and flourish in the future.

We are excited to begin the search for Reset’s Coordinator. We have secured initial funding and are actively securing funding for the full two-year pilot, which includes funds for these roles. We appreciate that candidates are likely to need clarity around timing, funding and transitions, and we will have open discussions with candidates about fundraising milestones during the interview process.

We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive Community Influencer to join our Wales team.​

This role will be key to helping Samaritans strengthen our presence and impact across Wales. You’ll develop and deliver a plan to increase Samaritans’ local profile, connection and influence.​

In this role you’ll building meaningful relationships with communities, partners and decision-makers to support suicide prevention. You’ll also work closely with staff and volunteers to deliver our community influencing work, helping us better reach and support people at risk, particularly those who are underrepresented or experiencing disadvantage.​

Contract terms:

• £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus benefits
• 18-month fixed term contract
• Full time hours are 35 hours per week, but we are passionate about flexible working, talk to us about your preferences
• Linked to our Cardiff (Wales) office
• In-person working: Meeting in person and working collaboratively are things we value. We work in person around 2 days or more per month. This role will involve regular travel around Wales.

What you'll do:

• Develop and deliver a plan to increase Samaritans’ local profile, connections and influence across Wales
• Build and maintain partnerships with community organisations, third sector bodies and statutory services to support suicide prevention
• Work with Samaritans branches and volunteers to strengthen local engagement and understanding of community needs
• Coordinate and support Samaritans’ representation on regional and local suicide prevention forums
• Monitor, evaluate and report on project progress, ensuring work is evidence-based and impactful
• Represent Samaritans at meetings, events and occasionally in the media
• Share the impact of the work through storytelling and social media engagement
