Purpose
This vital Data Officer role will support the Data Team in maintaining and developing the supporter relationship database (Salesforce NPSP), providing high quality support to CBM UK staff. You will be part of a dynamic & highly skilled Fundraising and Communications team, dedicated to inspiring people in the UK to help transform lives in some of the world’s poorest places.
Key Responsibilities
The Data Officer supports the Data Team to effectively use and maintain the fundraising database across the organisation to increase fundraising, communications and engagement potential.
1.Salesforce Maintenance and Support
a)Support with maintenance and administration of the supporter relationship database(Salesforce NPSP) and suite of Salesforce apps.
b)Provide first line support to members of staff responding to queries and issues.Escalate more complex issues to Senior Data and Insight Officer and Data and InsightManager as appropriate.
c)Import data and income into Salesforce from external data sources
d)Support Fundraising & Communications team in producing data for direct marketingappeals and carry out data checks to ensure data accuracy.
e)Perform data de-duplication and cleansing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of thedatabase, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulations
f)Assist the Fundraising & Communication team in building reports and dashboards todeliver timely and critical information.

About the Role

The Youth Zone Network Gen AI project aims to address the digital divide by equipping young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to navigate and benefit from AI. Delivered across six Youth Zones, the programme blends creative exploration of generative technologies with structured digital skills development.

As our Project Officer, you will support the management and delivery of the Gen AI project across the Youth Zones and will champion integration of AI into wider youth work, including related Network projects.

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.

Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. This is a critical time for SEA. Memory Tree cafes combine music and singing, dancing, reminiscence, exercise, activity and social interaction providing a safe and relaxing environment for older people living with dementia and their carers. Our programmes are delivered in various settings across the borough including care homes, sheltered housing and community venues together with our own Brigstock Road Community Hall.

The Healthier Lifestyle team at Age UK Croydon offers a range of inclusive and accessible activities and events across the borough of Croydon combining exercise and social engagement in a variety of local settings.  These sessions help reduce isolation, improve independence, prevent falls, increase fitness levels and manage health conditions. They also provide social engagement and interaction, information and support around living with dementia, a safe and welcoming space for all to engage and relax.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) –

• Independently delivering chair-based exercise sessions daily in Croydon care homes to residents.
• As an Age UK Croydon ambassador promote our services including via talks and presentations to community groups across the Borough.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with care home, health hub venue staff and partner organisations or talk providers.
• Working as part of the health hub team lead on the delivery of health hubs in various Croydon locations.
• To be the key point of liaison for all clients accessing the Activity Service.
• To support the promotion of the organisation, services, activities, and events.
• To contact clients when there are changes to the regular classes.
• Keep up to date with and the Activity Service changes.
• Awareness of risk assessments and GDPR compliance
• If qualified also delivering standing exercise sessions.
• Setting up equipment for activities and ensuring resources are ready for events.
• Delivering basic health checks including blood pressure, BMI and diabetes screening.

About the Role

This is a new senior leadership role at IRMO, created to strengthen the coordination and development of our growing programmes and services. As our work has expanded, so has its complexity. This role has been designed to improve cross-team planning, bring greater consistency to our delivery, and embed a stronger focus on learning and impact across everything we do.

As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will be at the heart of a community-led, Latin American-led organisation committed to advancing migrant rights and social justice. You will play a key role in supporting that mission by helping ensure our work is effective, well-resourced and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers, connect work across teams, and lead our new Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) function. You will also deputise for the CEO and contribute to strategic planning, quality assurance and risk management across the organisation.

As part of IRMO’s Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver our organisational strategy. You will also play a central role in our participation in the London Communities Human Rights Programme – a four-year project supporting us to embed a human rights-based approach in all areas of our work, in collaboration with the British Institute of Human Rights.

This is a key leadership role that will help strengthen how we work, learn and deliver together. We’re looking for someone collaborative, values-led and highly organised – with experience in leading teams, coordinating programmes and building strong internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination across programmes to ensure joined-up, consistent delivery and efficient use of IRMO’s resources

• Work closely with the CEO on programme resourcing and development

• Oversee quality assurance, compliance and risk management processes

• Contribute to organisational strategy and planning

Person Specification

Essential

• At least one year’s experience in a senior management or leadership role

• At least three years’ experience managing programmes or projects in relevant areas

• Experience developing and delivering programme or organisational strategies

• Experience overseeing service delivery in areas such as advice, education, youth or community work

• Experience managing and supporting staff

• Experience leading or supporting monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), with a strong understanding of how MEL supports learning and improvement

• Good understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice, health and safety, data protection and safeguarding

• Good understanding of finance and budget management in a small-to-medium charity

• Awareness of charity governance and the wider UK charity sector

• Ability to collect, interpret and use data to support learning and improve impact

• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills

• Excellent time management – able to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese

• Strong IT skills, including confident use of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and relevant databases

Typical Accountabilities of position:

Board and Senior Leadership meetings:

· Maintain a forward-looking calendar of Board, Board Committees and Senior Leadership Team meetings and agenda items and set up the meetings.

· Support line manager to prepare agendas, co-ordinate timely pre-read papers, write minutes, and track agreed actions.

· Maintain consistent Terms of Reference across all Board Committees.

· Provide administrative support to the line manager and Board with recruitment, induction, performance management and succession planning for the Board and Board committees.

· Manage and maintain Trustee documentation to ensure that information is transparent, up to date and readily accessible.

· Provide administrative support to the line manager and Board Chair with a periodic review of the Board, its value and behaviours, practice and operations.
