The CSE Team Leader will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager and wider Basis management team to oversee the delivery of 1:1 and group-based support to young people in our service offering high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling young people to navigate exploitative and abusive relationships. The Team Leader will hold a protected caseload to enable them to carry out their other duties.

The Role includes line managing the staff on the Young People’s Team, supporting with reports, recruitment and safeguarding. There will be an expectation to attend Child Focussed and Contextual MACE as an expert panel member and to support the Operations Manager with attendance at Silver MACE meetings. The role will work to ensure young people receive an exceptional service and contribute to the strategic development of Basis.

The Young People’s team work across Leeds and Bradford providing specialist support to young people experiencing CSE.  The team work to Basis’ organisational values, taking a harm reduction approach to enable and empower young people to make positive choices, whilst working to reduce risk.  The team have an established reputation for providing high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling young people to navigate exploitative and abusive relationships.  Services are provided within the community, at venues as young people determine.

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated, flexible individual, who is passionate about working with young people around their sexual health.

The postholder will conduct outreach, education, and training in several settings depending on the needs of different young people. These could be educational settings, youth settings, community events, sports settings, clubs and pubs. You will target vulnerable young people, such as looked-after children (LAC), those who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), those who come from areas of high deprivation and high need, and those with other increased risk factors, as well as young people aged 13-15 who are not yet able to access online services.

As part of your frontline work, you will encourage young people to sign up for a C-card, and, if aged over 16, to register to Get it and order condoms and lube from the website. When appropriate, you will refer young people to appropriate local sexual health services for contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, STI screening and treatment.

You must be able to employ an appropriate and non-judgemental way of working with a variety of young people. You will welcome direction from the SWL Lead, as well as the broader team, but you will also be proactive in seeking new opportunities and mechanisms to deliver the scheme. With the support of your line manager, and with appropriate training, you will be responsible for safeguarding and child protection, ensuring young people under the age of 16 have been appropriately risk-assessed. You do not need to have existing sexual health knowledge to apply for this role, however, a desire and capacity to learn and to work in this field is essential.

exual and reproductive health training will be provided but the successful candidate must be comfortable talking about sexual health in 1:1 settings, as well as in small groups and to larger audiences.

Benslow Music, a thriving musical hub based on a campus in Hitchin, is seeking a Head of Music & Learning to lead the strategic development and delivery of its diverse programmes. We champion the life‑long benefits music brings through a programme of residential, day and online music courses, a concert series and an instrument loan scheme.

The Role

The Finance Director will be both a hands-on and strategic role, working to ensure that the charity is making the greatest possible use of the resources available to it. You will lead the finance team (currently 2 FTEs) and work on financial planning, management and reporting, feeding into the Charity’s organisational and strategic goals and work closely with the Chief Executive, Senior Leadership and Leadership Teams to provide effective financial direction to the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees.

• Provide strategic financial leadership, advising the CEO, SLT, and Trustees on key financial matters.
• Lead on financial management and control, ensuring high standards across reporting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Produce accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Charity SORP.
• Oversee budgeting and reserves management, ensuring the organisation maintains appropriate financial sustainability.
• Support programme and fundraising teams with financial insights, templates, and reporting.
• Lead financial risk management, procurement, and oversight of contracts and grant agreements.
• Manage, motivate, and develop the finance team, ensuring clear accountability and high performance.

About You

You will collaborate closely with various departments to coordinate essential resources such as room bookings, funding, and group management tools. Maintaining strong communication with students, you’ll promptly respond to their needs and ensure they have a positive experience with the Union. Additionally, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with best practices, union policies, and safeguarding the welfare of our student community, particularly in relation to risk management and legislation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing administrative processes, with a proven track record of streamlining operations to enhance efficiency. Strong organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Do you have experience supporting children with SEN? Harris Primary Academy Peckham Park are seeking to appoint an exceptional, experienced qualified teacher as SENCO.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The purpose of your role will be:

• To play a key role within the Academy to ensure that all pupils with additional needs make accelerated progress in their learning and achieve to the very best of their ability.
• To directly contribute to pupils’ accelerated progress through high quality sustained teaching of intervention support based upon a detailed knowledge of their specific needs.
• To have high expectations, lead by example, promoting the federation/academy vision, values and aims.
• To be a member of the School Leadership Team (SLT) and contribute to the strategic development and direction of the academy in line with the Academy Improvement Plan.
• To provide leadership and direction in supporting meeting the needs of children with SEND.
• To take a lead role in monitoring and school self-evaluation regarding children with SEND.
• To provide guidance and support to the support staff to achieve and maintain a good quality of provision for pupils with SEND.
• To analyse assessment data from a variety of sources to inform future whole school planning and resourcing.
• To assist the SLT in undertaking delegated professional duties.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• National Award for SEN Coordination
• Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study etc. with clear impact indicators
• Commitment to continuing professional development as necessary to develop role
• Experience of successful leadership and management within a school
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding pupil progress for teams of children
• Ability to contribute to professional leadership and management of a staff team and contribute to the work of other teams to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils across the school
• Experience of using data and data analysis to drive up standards
• Clear knowledge and experience in all issues relating to the safeguarding of children

We are recruiting a Head of Care Services to join our senior team and to play their part in the ongoing development of our activities, ensuring that we maintain high quality standards and a person-centred approach.  The ideal applicant will have experience in ensuring the care and wellbeing of individuals, ideally with learning disabilities, autism and mental health, including the preparation of the range of paperwork and audits covering all aspects of care in a Day Centre setting,

The postholder will have knowledge of managing staff and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes, experience of interacting with Social Services and Health professionals, knowledge of Safeguarding procedures and managing the minimising of risk, strong I.T and communication skills and ability to contribute as part of a team and on their own initiative.

A full clean U.K. driving licence and qualification in Health and Social Care are welcomed.

About the role 

As our chief strategy and governance officer, you’ll report directly to the chief executive and play a key leadership role as part of Sense’s chief officers’ group. You’ll lead business planning, performance, risk, governance, safeguarding, health and safety, internal audit and project management across the charity—ensuring strategy and delivery are aligned at every level. 

You’ll also serve as company secretary and oversee our legal and regulatory compliance with the Charity commission and Companies house, while championing an inclusive approach to governance that empowers disabled people with complex needs. With a team of senior leaders reporting into you, you’ll shape culture, drive improvement, and model the leadership values that make Sense a truly people-centred organisation. 

This is a hybrid role based from either Birmingham or London, with frequent travel.

What you'll do 

• Lead the delivery of Sense’s strategy through robust business planning and performance frameworks.
• Oversee impact measurement and risk management, enabling evidence-led decision-making.
• Act as company secretary, ensure legal and regulatory compliance and high-quality support for our board of trustees and their committees.
• Provide executive leadership of safeguarding and health and safety, fostering a proactive culture of learning.
• Create an environment for project and programme management across Sense that enables clear oversight of delivery through a values-led Project management office.

About you

• Strategic and analytical, with senior-level experience in governance, performance or organisational leadership.

• Experienced in governance leadership, ideally with charity or regulated services knowledge and company secretary experience.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders, including boards, executives, and regulatory bodies.
• Committed to inclusion and the social model of disability, with a track record of embedding equity and diverse perspectives in strategy and operations.
• Digitally confident, with strong understanding of data protection, information governance, and the role of technology in transformation.
