- Identify, develop, and steward supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high value prospects.
- Understand supporter motivations, identifying opportunities across the Charity that inspire and engage, enabling them to achieve their fundraising goals and reach their potential.
- Identify and steward corporate prospects using a pipeline process resulting in applying for and converting opportunities.
- Be proactive within your area to identify opportunities for fundraising and raise awareness of the Charity.
- Manage supporters effectively using our CRM system (OneCRM) to provide excellent stewardship.
- Meet agreed financial targets, provide monthly financial progress reports, and put mitigation plans in place for any shortfall.
- Promote BHF’s activities and campaigns to raise awareness and drive income.

Bipolar UK is very much a user-driven organisation. Volunteering Matters works with around 5,000 volunteers, 7,500 beneficiaries and 60 projects throughout England, Scotland and Wales each year. At present, records are locally managed, relying on project-based IT solutions to record and report on activities. To improve our efficiency in this area, we will be introducing a new digital platform for use across our work. In spring 2025, we will be inviting potential providers to tender, asking them to tell us how they can work with us to develop an organisational-wide digital management tool that helps us manage our volunteers and activities more effectively.
In this role, you will operationally manage the activities and tasks outlined in the CRM project plan, working closely with the Head of Volunteering & Engagement, the CRM Strategic group and the CRM Working group. The project plan includes four stages: (1) Understanding/prioritising our organisational needs, (2) Mapping potential providers, (3) Commissioning and deciding on a provider, (4) Implementation of a new system. We are currently at Stage 2, moving into Stage 3.
This is a fixed term role with a two-year commitment and delivery plan. You will work closely with the National Volunteer Engagement Manager to help embed the new VMS or CRM across our delivery team, working practically and equitably with colleagues to understand any individual challenges or needs and finding appropriate ways to support them.
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CRM Project Coordinator to lead the next phase of our CRM development project.
You’ll operationally manage the delivery of our CRM plan, support the commissioning of a new system, and develop and drive forward a clear implementation strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth delivery, while coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and embedding inclusive practices.

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.
OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Job purpose:
The External Affairs Manager will work closely with the Director and provide vital support to NACCOM and its members by:
- Ensuring the strategic planning, management and alignment of communications, policy, research, campaigns, and advocacy as part of the External Affairs function at NACCOM.
- Ensuring NACCOM’s external affairs functions feed from and into our network development work and our Community Ambassador / Research programme
- Growing and safeguarding NACCOM’s brand identity, integrity and strategic positioning across all our external channels, networks and audiences.

Your existing communication skills will be put to good use acting as an ambassador for the charity, representing us at key events as well as reporting performance to the Board of Trustees.
This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful operation of the charity into the future and provides a chance to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of animals in need. There is potential to develop the role and shape the future direction of our fundraising activities.
Based at our newly rebuilt animal centre in Chesterfield but with scope also for hybrid working, you will have the opportunity to see our animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work in day-to-day action.
