To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Trust Fundraising Officer to join our small yet dynamic Fundraising team to help grow our income through Charitable Trusts and grant making organisations. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary year and look to a future of growth and building on our past achievements.
About the role
- You'll research trusts and foundations funding opportunities to which IHP can apply.
- You'll prepare and submit compelling funding applications to trusts and foundations in order to grow our core income.
- You'll work across teams and build effective relationships with team members in order to identify suitable projects for funding in line with strategy and budgets.
- You'll support the preparation of funding applications by members of the team to other donors, including corporate donors, major donors and other charity partners (NGOs)
Essential qualifications, knowledge,/transferrable skills and experience:
- Relevant fundraising experience (trusts and foundations)
- Experience of managing relationships with external stakeholder
- Experience of administration and record-keeping
- Experience of developing and managing budgets in line with funding applications.
- Knowledge of humanitarian response, international development and/or global health (Desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly organised, efficient and self-motivated
- Ability to work with competing priorities, deadlines and targets
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be flexible as part of a small team

We are looking for an expert who can bring their enthusiasm and knowledge of autistic learners with complex needs to join our team as our resident complex needs expert. You will work with a group of learners who have a combination of conditions and differences that make learning more challenging in all areas of life. It may be ADHD, Down’s syndrome, OCD or a genetic difference, but all our learners have the opportunity to make their life into what they want it to be. YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.
This role is based on site in Horsham and will cover Transitional services across Horsham, Crawley, Burgess Hill and Worthing. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations.

The Executive Director will work with the Trustee Board to develop and implement the strategic vision for the Law Centre and oversee its day to day operational management.
SLC offers a specialised referral service for advocacy and advice in complex and difficult cases. In our last financial year, we helped more than 1300 people across the areas of employment & discrimination, housing & homelessness, immigration & asylum, and welfare rights as well as giving local people a voice in planning issues. Liverpool Philharmonic, one of the largest music organizations in England, is seeking an experienced Trust and Foundation Fundraising Manager. In this vital role, you will develop and implement strategies to grow revenue from Trusts and Foundations to support of our pioneering music education, health, and community engagement programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to grow revenue from trusts and foundations, building on the organization's current annual income of approximately £800,000 from these sources.
- Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities aligned with the Liverpool Philharmonic's mission and programs.
- Craft compelling proposals, reports, and other materials that articulate the impact of Liverpool Philharmonic's work and make a persuasive case for support.
- Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective trust and foundation funders, cultivating strong relationships through exemplary stewardship and communication.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to align fundraising efforts and ensure a cohesive donor experience.
- Represent Liverpool Philharmonic with professionalism and passion, serving as an ambassador for the organisation's transformative work through music.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of successful trust and foundation fundraising experience, with a track record of securing significant grants.

Key Information:
- Salary: £33,500 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

- Hours of work: The contracted hours for this post are 35 hours per week, but part-time work will be considered for the right candidate. Normal office hours are Monday – Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm but working flexibly across evenings and weekends is sometimes required. Gaddum is looking for a qualified PWP to join our well-established Talking Therapies team operating in Manchester and expand our offer for clients. You will work alongside a team of dedicated counsellors within a stepped care model to provide initial assessments and a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for common mental health problems, including one-to-one work and the potential for groupwork.
You will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, with the ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate (or be near to qualification with all elements of the course successfully passed/on track to qualify on time).

· To be responsible for ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken of premises, outreach venues, client’s homes and other measures for the provision of a safe environment ensuring that all legislative requirements are met.

Chapter One is a dynamic, growing charity with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills needed to thrive. Our mission is to close the reading gap by providing children with one-to-one support at the time they need it most. We work in eleven areas/regions of the UK and will support 3250 children in 2024-25.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme pairs struggling five to seven-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who are working professionals. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.
From a school perspective, online reading volunteers provide direct, meaningful literacy support for up to 10 pupils per class. The programme is particularly suitable for communities where it might be challenging to find parents and other volunteers who can commit to physically visiting schools to boost reading.
Job Summary
Chapter One is seeking a Birmingham/West Midlands Programme Manager from September 2024 who is an excellent communicator and is able both to motivate and support schools and teachers to implement our online reading volunteers programme, and also to ensure that the programme’s impact and benefit to disadvantaged communities is maximised throughout the academic year.
The post is ideal for someone looking for part-time, flexible, term-time only work from a home base and who is able to travel frequently around the Birmingham and West Midlands area. The postholder will be joining a team of established Programme Managers (also part-time) who work in different parts of the UK and will need to have some flexibility to work additional hours during busy autumn months, and conversely to work fewer hours during quieter periods of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively explain Chapter One’s online reading volunteer programme and its benefits to school leaders and teachers
• Install, setup and maintain Chapter One equipment in participating classrooms
• Fully understand the operation of the Chapter One platform and database and communicate this to others
• Organise and conduct initial teacher training and follow-up
• Ensure a smooth initial launch of Chapter One’s programme in every classroom
• Liaise with colleagues performing technical and volunteer support roles
• Through regular visits to/contact with schools, provide on-going embedded professional learning and support to teachers throughout the year as needed
• Proactively monitor classroom adherence/fidelity to the Chapter One model, including systematic review of data reports and volunteer feedback, taking proactive action to resolve problems that arise
• Analyse and manipulate data (largely in Google sheets) to produce reports and identify trends
• Create monthly data summaries for all participating classrooms
• Lead annual review meetings for senior leadership at participating schools
• Support programme monitoring, evaluation and research as required
• Coordinate in person and virtual school ‘visits’ of volunteer teams to classrooms where necessary
• Liaison with corporate partners as required
• Weekly communication and status updates with Senior Programme Manager(s) and wider team
• As a new school year approaches, secure commitments from returning schools and find and target new schools to join Chapter One’s programme
