To join us as our Digital Fundraising & Campaigns Lead, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience in digital fundraising and marketing in a charity or mission-driven organisation
- Experience in the end-to-end management of large-scale events
- Experience writing, reviewing, and editing copy for a variety of audiences and uses
- Experience developing and delivering multi-channel digital campaigns with measurable impact
- Experience using analytics tools
- Project management experience
- Demonstrable expertise in paid media strategy and optimisation
- A deep understanding of digital trends, donor behaviour, and fundraising compliance

- To be educated to degree level

Support Through Sport CIO, based in Nottingham, delivers sport-based intervention, mentoring, and youth work programmes to thousands of disadvantaged young people, empowering them to develop pro-social behaviours and providing a lasting positive impact within underserved communities.

Role Overview 

Support Through Sport CIO is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our innovative School and Community Navigator programme throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The Senior School and Community Navigator will lead a team of three Navigators across four schools in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The role combines direct support to children and young people aged 10–17 with leadership and coordination responsibilities, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard and in line with Support Through Sport policies and project specifications.

Working closely with schools, families, and local agencies, the Senior Navigator will provide supervision and guidance to staff, build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting systems are in place. You will work with young people aged 10–17 in community settings, building trust-based relationships and providing early intervention to reduce risk factors linked to crime, violence, and exploitation.

The role combines youth work, mentoring, and community engagement, supporting young people to tackle challenges such as disengagement in education, substance use, poverty, discrimination, and school exclusion. You will act as an advocate for young people, bridging gaps with the wider community while promoting respect, empowerment, and positive life choices whilst working utilising a child-centred and collaborative approach.

At Support Through Sport, we use a range of creative approaches, including sport as a diversionary tool, to build brighter futures and create safer communities. Flexibility is essential, as sessions may take place during evenings and weekends, in addition to typical school hours. • Provide leadership, supervision, and day-to-day support to a team of School and Community Navigators, ensuring high-quality delivery across all schools and community settings.

What You'll Do:​​

Lead the Enterprise team to provide an outstanding level of service to events clients, visitors, including the families programme, and deliver excellence in the Café Restaurant franchise and the Shop. You will work enthusiastically as part of the Cathedral’s team of staff and volunteers to help deliver our vision. ​

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the role:​​

• Events

  • To direct the events team in organising the extensive events programme, maximise the spare capacity of the Cathedral building and the adjacent grounds, thereby generating income as required by the Cathedral budget.
  • To be responsible for the execution of events, delegating to the Events Team and/or other Staff members as appropriate.
  • To be on duty as part of the team rota delivering events.

  Café Restaurant

  • To ensure that the franchise delivers the requisite performance, in terms of quality and financial benefit to the Cathedral, as required by the contract between Guildford Cathedral Enterprises and the franchisee.

  Management

  • To be the line manager for the Enterprise team members, including Events Officer, Events Assistant, Shop Manager & Shop Assistant, Visitor Engagement Officer, and the Families Engagement Officer.
  • To be the Cathedral point of contact for management issues related to the employees of the Café Restaurant franchisee.
  • To attend Diary Management and Head of Department Meetings.

  Shop

  • To direct the Shop team to provide value for money in the Shop, delivering an excellent level of service to the community and a level of income required by the Cathedral budget.

This is a full-time role in a well-established charity based in Twickenham. This role would suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector with experience of working in social care.

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support.

As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Part of the role will also aim to improve the identification, recognition and understanding of the needs of adult carers, raise the profile of adult carers and ensure adult carers needs are met. You will also be expected to work with our volunteers and to use appropriate monitoring and evaluation reports to show our funders what we have achieved.

• To work where appropriate with other service providers/agencies to promote the carer agenda or jointly deliver carer support issues
• To be proactive in the registration of carers living or caring for someone within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
• To keep accurate records of group and individual carer engagement for monitoring and evaluation purposes
• To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public

As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.

This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have significant retail or customer service experience alongside a genuine interest in charity retail. You will be seeking a challenge that stands out from other retail roles and will be looking to build a career in this sector. Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the South Central region, covering HMP Aylesbury, HMP Huntercombe and HMP Bullingdon. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the Central region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including possible overnight stays.

This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. Birmingham Botanical Gardens (BBG) is looking for a highly motivated Development Officer with  experience to join the small but dedicated Development Team to raise funds to retore and preserve the Gardens for the benefit of everyone now, and for future generations. 
Purpose of Role

This exciting new role is vital to increase the income generating capacity of BBG’s Development Team to enable the charity to deliver its purpose and major development over the next 4+ years. In July BBG was awarded an NLHF grant of £9.075m, and has successfully raised over 90% of the capital funds needed. The priority is to close the capital funding gap in accordance with our fundraising strategy and increase funding for other projects and the day-to-day operation the charity, long term. BBG receives no public subsidy and must raise all income from visitors, trading, events and fundraising. The Development Officer post has been created to increase fundraised income for the charity, cultivating and stewarding an expanded and sustained funding and supporter base.

In line with current priorities, the postholder will be required to raise commercial sponsorship income, and income from major donors/individuals to meet capital and operational targets/KPI’s. The postholder will be expected to create sponsor/donor packages, deliver cultivation events and steward donors and supporters on all aspects of fundraising as directed. The postholder will have experience of managing sponsorship agreements to ensure value, compliance and delivery of benefits. 

The role will share responsibility for the management of data, compliance and stewardship of growing funding streams and support the administration of the Development Function. The Development Team raises and manages funds from grants, trusts and foundations, individuals, organisations, business, legacies, etc, and the new postholder will work with the highly effective and dedicated team of Development Director and Development Manager and with the wider BBG team.

Key Responsibilities

· Achieve income and performance targets in accordance with BBG’s agreed Fundraising Strategy and business needs, as directed by the Development Director.

· Raise funding with compelling case for support from sponsors/from individuals, to meet the targets of the Major project, and  fundraising from other sources such as grants, as agreed.

· Contribute to managing BBG’s development/fundraising function data, ensuring accuracy of data and information on BBG’s Spektrix/CRM system to comply with internal requirements and the Data Protection Act.

· Work with Horticultural, Marketing, Learning & Engagement, Finance Teams and other staff to formulate proposals, maximising opportunities for raising funds to support core functions and projects, once the capital is secured.

· Manage funding contracts with sponsors and those of all Development funders -including payment schedules, high quality impact reports, monitoring and compliance with any conditions of funding.

· High quality personalised stewarding of all donors and supporters, ensuring BBG’s reputation as an exemplary charity is maintained. Respectful approach in all fundraising.

· Research and cultivating funding prospects and submitting high quality well-researched applications, securing new supporters and interest within the wider funding strategy.

· Work with Marketing to manage fundraising messaging and communications, including digital, print and press coverage, all in accordance with fundraising regulation. Liaise with BBG Finance staff to ensure reporting meets BBG’s wider business and charitable requirements.
