Job Title: Duty IDVA
Hours: Part time, 28 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 pro-rata
Location: Hammersmith with some home working
Contract Type: Part-time-4 days per week on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2026

Job Summary
The IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.
They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies and related matters, support women to attend court where necessary, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support.
The post holder will hold a reduced caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team based in Hammersmith which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis.
Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure effective access to the service for women and girls and encourage their engagement with services through multi-agency working and service flexibility.
- To work within the team to conduct comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for women experiencing domestic abuse referred to our services.
- To carry out short- and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support; and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs, including attendance at specialist/dedicated courts and MARAC as required.
- Develop and deliver safety and support plans that include delivery of high-quality face-to-face or telephone crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and support, in respect to criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, children’s legislation and other appropriate interventions.
- Advise women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, making referrals and co-ordinating the provision of multi-agency support where necessary, and proactively advocate ensuring barriers to accessing support and protection are minimised.
- Proactively assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have, ensure that any risks/needs identified are addressed directly with the woman, and take appropriate action to safeguard them.
- If a client is involved in the criminal justice system as a witness, provide them with information, advocacy, and support as cases progress through the criminal justice system, supporting them to apply for special measures and to give impact statements, to maximise their safety to help them give best evidence and accompanying women to court where necessary.
- Work with the management team and Data Insights Analyst to ensure all monitoring and evaluation for the project is accurate and fully maintained, keeping managers informed of any issues and successes.
- Ensure that agreed case recording and monitoring systems are kept up to date and secure, and write internal and external reports where required, including for safeguarding conferences, team meetings, managers and others as required.
- Use appropriate institutional advocacy to maximise positive outcomes and use the appropriate reporting mechanisms to highlight persistent or recurring issues that arise.
- Be responsible for your own personal learning development and keep up to date on research, relevant legislation, policy and practice, and other literature relevant to the role.
- Participate in supervision, training and meetings as required and assist in the development of services in line with agreed development plans.

Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by
building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and
individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the
persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the
organisation’s outreach.
Main duties and responsibilities
Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational
goals.
o Monitor and evaluate engagement initiatives, providing regular updates and
reports.
o Maintain accurate records of engagements and donor activities using internal
systems.
Prayer Mobilisation:
o Host regular prayer meetings (virtual or in-person) for the region.
o Disseminate prayer resources and stay updated on current prayer requests.
o Attend daily organisational devotions in-person or online, unless this is not possible
due to an event or meeting.
Awareness Raising:
o Speak at churches, schools, conferences, and community events to share
Barnabas Aid’s mission.

Event and International Collaboration:o Contribute to planning and attend national conferences, festivals, and events.
o Participate in international trips to meet project partners, witness project impact, to

Operational Flexibility:
o Manage a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.
o Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, including additional assignments as

The Opportunity: Project Lead

The Trust has achieved a great deal over the last 5 years, securing funding from public sources, trusts, and foundations. This newly created role will build on this success and attract substantial support from individuals and corporate sources. It involves working with internal and external stakeholders to raise funds for core funding, projects, and capital campaigns. It is envisaged that the post-holder will work with Trustees and staff to establish a Development sub-group to inform and drive this work. Strategic planning and communications are key to this. This role will drive forward new plans for individual giving, philanthropy and fundraising to significantly rebuild the Trust’s reserves.
Role:
To lead the Trust’s work towards financial resilience through broadening its income streams
To increase voluntary income from funders and philanthropists by 50%, reflating free reserves, through an ambitious Development & Fundraising Strategy
To initiate, lead, and deliver projects to develop and transform the work, premises, and staff of the Silk Museum & Paradise Mill, working with consultancy support to:
· Develop a 3-5 year business plan
· Cost and plan options for tackling the site:
o Limitations to accessibility and visitor welcome
o Constraints to income generation
o significant challenges to building maintenance, environmental sustainability, care, and display of our collections
o rising energy costs
· Secure funding for major conservation, building repairs and organisational development.
To build a new supporter community and membership offer to attract supporters and philanthropists for the Trust’s development plans
To build and lead strong relationships with partners for collaboration, fundraising, and sponsorship
To drive strong working relationships and communication with Museum staff, volunteers, and Trustees, to develop a broad fundraising ethos, including training and mentoring to Trustees and Museum staff
To keep current with fundraising sector developments, approaches, and opportunities
Specific Responsibilities and Duties:
Development
· Review and develop the Trust’s Development & Fundraising Strategy, identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities, campaigns, and funding applications in line with this strategy, including:
o Trusts and foundations
o Statutory funders
o Corporate support and partnerships
o a new legacies programme, Supporters, and individual giving programmes
· Maximise income and in-kind support through fundraising activities onsite and online, including events and sponsorship, to engage current supporters and cultivate new relationships.
· Ensure that all fundraising activities are delivered professionally and timely to ensure maximum and meaningful engagement
· Manage the evaluation of fundraising activities and prepare and submit reports to key stakeholders.
· Deliver reporting for statutory funders, ensuring that the museum delivers on its reporting requirements in a timely manner.
General responsibilities and duties
· Oversee the work of the Programming Team (Senior Curator, Paradise Mill; Museum Curator; Community Engagement Programmer) in delivering, evaluating, and reporting on existing funded programmes, including Arts Council CIP, Pilgrim Trust, Granada Foundation, Foyle Foundation, and Macclesfield Town Council.
· Contribute to the success and culture of The Silk Heritage Trust
· Interact and cooperate proactively with all employees, trustees, and volunteers, ensuring good teamwork.

Being a Head of Fundraising at St Wilfrid’s
As an interim Head of Fundraising, covering maternity leave, you will need strong leadership skills, a passion for fundraising with a track record for delivering financial results, and a desire to work for a meaningful cause. This role leads an incredible team of 12 dedicated fundraising professionals who, along with the support of our event volunteers, work tirelessly to support our Hospice. Their dedication to, and care for, our supporters generates over £4 million annually, which is vital for funding our care.
This role is pivotal in ensuring our fundraising department thrives, and will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing and managing a comprehensive fundraising budget, including forecasting for the future, working closely with the Director of Income Generation
- Developing effective fundraising programmes in all revenue streams, identifying priority areas – to enhance the fundraising portfolio of income generation activities; consistently evaluating and adjusting plans and strategies
- Ensuring the close management of income and expenditure, making adjustments where necessary to ensure good financial management
- Leading, building and motivating the Fundraising team, providing leadership and management and overseeing development and training, to enable individuals to reach their full potential
- Collaborating closely with our marketing and retail heads as one of our department leads

Qualifications and Experience
- Fundraising experience and specialist knowledge at a senior level and in a wide range of fundraising income streams

About the role
NTD Master plans are essential components for effective planning and implementation of sustainable NTD programmes. It provides programme goals, objectives, and a 3–5-year strategy based on extensive situation analysis and addresses all components of the NTD programmes relevant to the country. It enhances synergies among various NTD initiatives such as Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination (LFE). It also provides the basis for integrated or linked NTD project plans and includes costing and financing requirements for effective NTD programme performance. The current NTD Master Plan elapses at the end of this year, 2025. There is therefore an urgent need to develop a new plan for use in the next five years, 2026-2030.
As the consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing Ghana's existing NTD Master Plan (2021–2025), assess its implementation progress, achievements, and challenges, incorporating stakeholder consultations to align national priorities, best practices, and lessons learned. Based on this assessment, a five-year strategic Master Plan will be developed, outlining a clear intervention strategy, budget allocations, and implementation frameworks. Additionally, the plan will identify funding gaps and propose sustainable financing mechanisms to strengthen NTD elimination efforts while enhancing monitoring and evaluation frameworks to effectively track program impact and effectiveness.

About You
You are a fit for the role of Senior Legal Officer if your background includes:

Purpose of Role
As Digital Fundraising Lead you’ll oversee Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement programme, from strategy to delivery; managing and developing a team of high performing colleagues. You’ll be role modelling and leading expert collaboration across the organisation, and with partner organisations, to deliver integrated digital fundraising and audience engagement growth in line with organisational objectives.
As a digital first organisation, a significant proportion of Comic Relief’s fundraising and public engagement is delivered via digital channels. Strategy & Planning

Progress to Change is a Leeds-based charity that operates two Independent Approved Premises (IAPs): Ripon House, a 22-bed facility for women, and Cardigan House, a 26-bed facility for men. These facilities serve individuals released from prison on licence, primarily those assessed as high risk, under the supervision of probation practitioners. The charity's mission is to assist and rehabilitate some of the most vulnerable members of society focusing on providing structured support and purposeful activities aimed at resettlement within the community. Progress to Change operates in close partnership with the Ministry of Justice and the Probation Service, and is a member of the National Approved Premises Association (NAPA).
The Lead Practitioner will play a key role in supporting the Approved Premises (AP) Managers in the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and rehabilitation opportunities for residents. This includes overseeing staff support, organising shift coverage, coordinating training, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners. The role requires a proactive approach to resident engagement, activity planning, and staff development while working a variety of shifts, including weekends and late shifts.
