What we need from you
You’ll be:

Time expectation

The Role
As a Flyer Distributor you will play a crucial role in helping to raise awareness about our services and events within the Enfield community. You will be responsible for disseminating promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and event announcements to various locations within the Enfield area.
- Distribute promotional materials provided by Age UK Enfield to designated locations across the Enfield area. This may include community centers, libraries, local businesses, healthcare facilities, and other relevant locations.
- Engage with members of the public in a friendly and courteous manner while distributing flyers. Answer any questions they may have about Age UK Enfield's services and provide basic information about upcoming events or initiatives.
- Keep accurate records of the locations visited and the quantity of promotional materials distributed. Report back to the supervisor on to provide updates on distribution progress.
- Act as an ambassador for Age UK Enfield by promoting the organisation's mission, values, and services to the community. Help to increase brand recognition and visibility within the local area.
General Key Skills:
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Comfortable with walking and standing for long periods in various weather conditions.
- Maintaining professionalism and addressing public inquiries effectively.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong sense of responsibility.
Time Commitment
2-4 hours Between 10 am - 2 pm (there are other volunteer opportunities available)
Requirements
A DBS Enhanced check will be required. Training to be provided around safeguarding.

Richmond Arts Service offers a range of events and festivals throughout the year as part of its diverse programme, including the Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival and the Christmas Shopping Weekend at Orleans House Gallery. Volunteers help support these events through a variety of responsibilities, ensuring their success.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Providing a warm welcome when engaging with participants, providing information and signposting
- Checking in participants against booking details
- Supporting staff with preparation, setup and packing away of events
- Travelling to a variety of venues across Richmond borough

Training and Support

As the NHS and local authority services face a period of significant change, it's vital that people and the quality of care remain front and centre, and their voices and experiences are heard.
This is a voluntary, unremunerated role, although we do cover all reasonable expenses and applicable care costs.
Luminus is a Surrey-based Community Interest Company (CIC) which exists to make sure those voices are heard. We are now seeking new Non-Executive Directors to help guide the next stage of our growth. This is a great time to join a well-led and well-governed organisation, bringing your existing skills, or building your experience on a Board, as we offer a warm welcome, friendly atmosphere, mentorship and training - as well as the chance to make a real difference. In particular (but not exclusively), we welcome applicants who have experience of one or more of the following:
- growing a business;
- a network of contacts across Surrey and beyond who are potentially relevant to the wider business interests of Luminus; and/ or
- a particular interest/ experience in fulfilling the Board’s oversight of finances and/ or its governance in general.

We’re seeking volunteers who are self motivated, creative, aligned with our values and want the opportunity to build their social media campaigns portfolio; someone who understands social media platforms, trends and relevant software. Ideally, you will have experience of social media volunteering or management and will be able to help us in developing our online presence.

What the role involves

The Board of the Cornerstone Library in Southport retain oversight across library functions, ranging from service provision, fundraising and community engagement to heath & safety and financial stability. The Cornerstone Library is looking to recruit a Trustee to help promote the objectives of the Charity and fill the role of Secretary to the Board.
The role of Secretary to the Board combines the responsibilities of overseeing the Charity's overall governance as a Trustee with maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication between board members, including taking minutes at monthly meetings and managing official documentation.
We would benefit from the input of a Trustee who will complement the team of existing volunteers by bringing knowledge and expertise in, for example, IT, business, health & safety, event planning, web development or a legal background.

Are you a Clinical Supervisor interested in supporting counsellors and therapists?
Burning Nights CRPS Support has a highly skilled counselling and therapy team who provide counselling and psychotherapy to adults and children who have been affected by a debilitating pain condition, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). This team is expanding rapidly and we are now looking for 2 volunteer Clinical Supervisors to join this team ensuring we can continue the provision of our vital emotional support services to this community. We would ideally like to take on 2 Clinical Supervisor supporting a small group of therapists who specialise in a range of modalities.
All our Counselling and therapy team help to develop our growing mental health support service for patients, families and carers affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). As a volunteer with the CRPS Counselling & Therapy Service, your skills and experience as a Clinical Supervisor will be providing support to therapists who offer therapy to vulnerable individuals, many of whom are isolated and in need of mental health support.
Depending on your qualifications, skills and experience, you will provide group and 1-2-1 Supervision support for counsellors or psychotherapists who provide counselling support or specialist services, such as general talking (person centred) therapies, integrative therapists, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for CRPS patients, their loved ones and carers. The service currently offers specialist support to anyone over the age of 5 who is affected by CRPS.
Key Tasks and Objectives

Facilitate Clinical Supervision group sessions on a monthly basis (online) and ideally be able to offer at least 1 or 2 supervisees on 1-2-1 basis mainly trainees

Administer this supervision from invitation through to record keeping

Take part in complex case allocation meetings with the Clinical Lead

Maintain appropriate clinical records of all work and to report, along with any concerns on individuals or their practice to the Clinical Lead

Commitment to ongoing supervision of supervision practice at Burning Nights CRPS Support as well as engaging in separate own personal supervision as/if appropriate
-
Work flexibly as part of a small team as necessary to provide maximum coverage for supervision, such as in the event of emergencies

Abide by all Burning Nights CRPS Support policies and procedures

Adhere to BACP, BABCP (or other appropriate therapies governing body) Ethical Framework
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
-
Psychotherapy/Counselling qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a similar field
-
Qualification in Clinical Supervision - ideally level 7 or above (could also suit experienced counsellors who require a placement during Clinical Supervision placement, or experienced counsellors wishing to gain experience in supervision)
-
Accreditation/registration (or working at the level of or towards this qualification) as a Supervisor with BACP/HCPC/BABCP or equivalent
-
Significant proven experience of supervising individual counsellors/psychotherapists from a range of training backgrounds
-
Appropriate and proven clinical experience of working with clients with a range of difficulties including complex medical health issues, loss and bereavement. Ideally experience of working with clients living with or affected by chronic pain or chronic conditions

Willingness to engage in any Burning Nights CRPS Support training
-
Understanding of issues regarding confidentiality and management of risk within a counselling service
-
Good administrative skills
-
Understanding of the voluntary sector

Commitment to on-going engagement in personal supervision
-
Knowledgeable of and committed to equalities’ provision
Desirable:
-
Appropriate and proven clinical experience of working with clients living with or affected by chronic pain or chronic conditions

Being able to supervise therapists who work in therapy such as CBT, ACT, EMDR etc
-
Experience of working within a low-cost / free voluntary sector counselling setting
-
Experience of working within the voluntary charity sector
To drive change for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) & ensure people whose lives have been touched by this condition are not alone.
