About the Role:
Here at Construction Youth Trust, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and ready to dive into a supported internship. This is a fantastic chance to get a hands-on feel for what it's like to work in the charity sector. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the Trust e.g. participation in strategic working or Task & Finish groups.
We are particularly looking for individuals at the start of their career interested in working directly with young people within our Delivery Team
As a Delivery Team Intern, your key duties and responsibilities could include:
· Supporting the team to deliver fun and engaging programmes and activities for young people to get them ready for the working world by building on their skills and confidence.
· Supporting the team in the development of effective long-term working relationships with schools and referral partners.
· Supporting the team to enlist, manage and coordinate the support of local industry partners to connect young people with opportunities and employers that match their unique strengths and interests.
· Supporting the team with administrative tasks, helping to register, monitor, and evaluate the young people participating in programmes and activities.
· Please note that you will be required to travel across London regularly
About You
What we’re looking for in our new Intern(s) includes:
· Ideally educated to Level 3 (BTEC, A- Level, etc) or equivalent experience.
· Enthusiastic about connecting young people to opportunities, particularly those facing significant barriers to work.
· Have a ‘can-do’ attitude, as our Intern you will be expected to get involved in a variety of our programmes and activities.
· IT literate and digitally savvy
· Ability to communicate professionally with a range of people including young people, schools, funders, universities, industry representatives, training providers and community organisations.
· A willingness to learn about career opportunities offered by the modern construction and wider built environment sector.

The Senior Centre Manager will contribute to the day-to-day operations of Out of School Childcare & Play services at Camden Square Playcentre. Your responsibilities will be to create and retain a happy and committed staff team, lead them in delivering high quality play services that promote the children’s health and well-being, and assist in the development of new projects and services. As an experienced playwork manager, you will work effectively with stakeholders and develop positive relationships with parents/carers.

The Person We Are Looking For:

Their responsibilities will be to create and retain a happy and committed staff team, lead them in delivering high quality play services that promote the children’s health and well-being, and assist in the development of new projects and services. As an experienced playwork manager, you will work effectively with stakeholders and develop positive relationships with parents/carers.
To succeed in this role, you will have an appropriate early years, childcare, education or playwork qualification at Level 3 or above. You will also have experience managing staff and leading teams in delivering high-quality, inclusive play or childcare services.
You will be a team player with strong leadership and communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with people from all backgrounds, including service users, parents, staff and delivery partners. Additionally, you will be able to show us your knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, EYFS, Ofsted standards and relevant current legislation, as well as approaches for supporting children and young people with disabilities.

Art Explora is seeking a freelance Project Coordinator to work closely with Art Explora’s Community Programme Manager to take the first steps in establishing our Arts at Home programme in and around Birmingham.
Art Explora is a non-profit arts organisation was founded in the UK in 2021. Our mission is to tackle the social, economic and geographic barriers that prevent many people from having the opportunity to take part in the arts. We increase access to arts and culture through innovative programming, new forms of engagement and by taking cultural projects into the heart of communities, schools and care settings. We believe in building connections through the arts.
Arts at Home helps older people access arts and culture by encouraging conversation and connection through art. We work with a dedicated team of trained volunteers, who deliver our Arts at Home sessions in care settings across London.
During these sessions, volunteers introduce residents to a variety of artworks, accompanied by open-ended questions and thought-provoking prompts designed to spark conversations and connections within care settings. Our aim is to bring residents together to encourage independent thinking, combat loneliness, improve their wellbeing, and to experience arts and culture just as everyone should have the right to.
We are now looking for looking to expand our offer to Birmingham and are seeking a freelance project coordinator to establish initial partnerships with care settings, recruit and train volunteers and coordinate the pattern of delivery.
Who we are looking for
- A team spirited, organised, proactive and reliable individual
- An interest in arts and culture, with a passion for engaging new audiences
- A good knowledge of arts engagement practice in the UK and leading organisations in this field
- Able to respond to challenges with flexibility, positivity, and solution focused
- Proven experience of working with volunteers including recruitment, training, logistics and personal management
- A confident communicator (oral and writing), with an enthusiasm for building creative partnerships and capable of working with a wide range of stakeholders and partners
- An interest in working directly within the care sector
- A proven track record of budget coordination, data reporting and administrative support
- The Project Coordinator will be required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which Art Explora will carry out upon appointment.
£150 per day based on three days a week for 24 weeks (approx. September 2025 to February 2026). Up to £10,800 allocated for the total project delivery fee.

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of students and equip them to put their faith into action?
SCM is looking for a recent graduate to spend a year working with us to help us to continue to build on the work of our successful Faith in Action project.
Run in partnership with Project Bonhoeffer, a small charitable trust, the project began in 2012 with a vision that Christian students in Britain would have a greater awareness and understanding of Bonhoeffer’s radical approach to faith and discipleship, and its implications for Christian living in the modern world.
The project has helped to run over a dozen campaigns from Food Poverty to Peace, and had an immeasurable impact on thousands of students through blogs, resources, and relationships. All of this is bringing to light many ‘Bonhoeffers’ of today negotiating the implications on Christian living in the world.
In 2021 we developed the Faith in Action project as a graduate scheme by employing two graduates to work on the project; one to lead on theology bringing a depth of learning and theological refection, and the other to be a campaigns lead, taking us always back out into the world to make a difference.
The project has been very successful, and now we are looking to grow it for further. We are looking for a passionate graduate to join the project for the 2025-26 academic year.
In this role, you will be a theologian to make other theologians, and will provide the framework for students to be able to reflect theologically on their life and modern Christian Living. You will be responsible for growing the breadth of SCM’s Faith in Action resources, and discovering new ways of connecting with the current membership via the trends of social media or engaging in face-to-face reflections. An activist to make other activists, you will coordinate social action for SCM, engaging the membership in social justice projects that maximise our impact in society and the world.
You will work to build relationships between SCM communities and members to equip students with the skills they need to become faith-filled agents of social and political change and lead them in theological reflection to discern their involvement in local and national campaigns. You will also work to develop relationships with other Christian social justice and campaigning organisations to create opportunities for students to put their faith into action. In all of this, you will be supported by our small but perfectly-formed team, who will share your values and fully understand your aims in this project.
The role will require some travel within Britain, as well as semi-regular visits to the office in Birmingham, which may also include an overnight stay. All reasonable expenses for travel and accommodation will be reimbursed. Some evening and weekend work may be required for which time off in lieu will be given.
