Main Responsibilities
Support from our membership and donors provides a vital source of unrestricted income that supports the charity’s work with wildlife.
The Supporter Care Assistant is responsible for efficiently administering the ‘supporter journey’ so that everyone is welcomed and thanked promptly and personally. This includes regular actions such as:
· adding new members to our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
· steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and used for the purposes given, in line with regulations such as GDPR
· responding to supporter queries
· sending routine correspondence
· working with other team members to support the smooth running of various fundraising processes.

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to join a successful and thriving team. Working within the Trusts and Foundations team, the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager will grow income for the charity through high value grants and support the directorate’s ambition for securing sustainable long-term funding. One of the key areas of responsibility for this role is to develop and lead a process for statutory fundraising, working closely with a range of internal stakeholders to identify suitable government-funded and researcher-led funding opportunities and submitting compelling applications for our priority projects. The ideal candidate will have a track record of securing 6-7 figure sums, ideally via government-funded and researcher-led opportunities. You will have significant experience of using multiple platforms to identify and research suitable opportunities, managing a portfolio of prospects and , building and stewarding relationships. You will thrive in a fast paced environment, be able to work to deadlines and have a results-driven and solutions-focused attitude. You will have a confident nature with excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable with high-level external representation. You will have strong influencing and negotiating skills and significant experience of writing inspiring applications and factual reports. You will be a brilliant collaborator and team player with experience of working to structured fundraising processes.

You'll be a key part of the Statutory and Lottery Partnerships team who have a diverse portfolio of funders and an annual target of £5 million. The role
This role will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network.
For designated top food partners, you will be their day to day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels. You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them.
You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.
You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.
Main areas of responsibility
Partnership Management
- Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources.

Then this could be the role for you. At the Digital Poverty Alliance, we are looking for our new Policy & Insights Manager. You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.
We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. We seek social change through our National Delivery Plan, whilst also delivering solutions in local areas that help real people and provide evidence for change.
This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. You will report directly to the Chief Executive, working alongside our Head of External Affairs.
A big part of our social change ambition is delivered through our public affairs work; influencing policy makers so that our ambitions are shared with government, companies and with everyone able to deliver to our vision of a world where everyone is able to connect successfully with the digital world where and when they want to. You will also be responsible for drafting white papers, analysing trends and data, and identifying new insights. You will support our Industry Forum, working with existing and new members to broaden the group.
The DPA aims to work through partners in delivering to our core mission and, as such, we retain only a small core team with support from our PR agency. As such, you’ll lead on delivering our policy and public affairs work, from briefing MPs to developing our policy positions.
Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. Given the need to attend meetings in Westminster and Whitehall, you will need to live within commuting distance of London.
Key focus areas
- Building relationships with public, private and third sector organisations, including the wider DPA community.
- Working to convene and collaborate with organisations and individuals committed to ending digital poverty.
- Work with colleagues across local, regional and national governments and across political parties to advocate for policies to promote digital inclusion.
- Undertaking research and analysis to understand digital poverty and the impact of policies to address it.
- Managing policy and research projects including the ongoing development of the national delivery plan and supporting ‘proof of concept’ projects.
- Developing commercial and research partnerships with organisations and supporting the development of the industry forum.
- Communicating the DPA vision and perspective through verbal and written communication.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a lovely Health Charity to find their new Supporter Experience Manager
The organisation offers a flexible working environment, with a primarily remote working pattern and salary between £30-35k dependant on experience. This role will require monthly travel to their Leamington Spa offices for team meetings.
This role will oversee the development of the charity’s supporter experience strategy in line with fundraising priorities and objectives, developing donor retention methods and fantastic supporter journeys to increase long term income.
Key responsibilities include:
· Effectively lead the development of supporter journeys via multiple channels, leading on product innovations and integrated campaigns to build supporter loyalty.
· Work effectively with fundraising & marketing colleagues to implement a multi channel supporter experience and journey strategy.
· Act as the main point of contact for community volunteers to maintain engagement and activity to help them fulfil their roles across the country.
· Develop supporter retention methods and techniques to increase net income.
· Lead the Supporter Experience team, line managing two people.
Experience required:
· Experience of developing supporter journeys in a public fundraising setting.
· Experience of developing multi-channel fundraising & marketing campaigns
· Experience of managing community volunteers.
· Knowledge of supporter retention methods.
· Experience of line management is a plus.

Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We currently have around 90 staff based in England, Wales Scotland and Northern Ireland.

There are huge challenges facing bowel cancer patients across the UK, and our community needs us now more than ever. We’re building a strong and united team to bring us closer to a world where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive online community professional to join our friendly and supportive Peer Support team. This role is part of our peer support services team and will be responsible for supporting our online peer support communities, including our forum and Facebook groups.
The post holder will work directly with the Peer Support Manager and the Senior Online Communities Officer, as well as with colleagues from across the charity to develop our online communities, helping us to reach and support more people affected by bowel cancer and those concerned about symptoms, risk and pre-diagnosis.
