We are looking for ambitious and strategic Development Manager – Corporate and Philanthropy to lead the growth of our corporate fundraising, build high-value partnerships, and work with our network of senior supporters to unlock transformational opportunities.

With a strong foundation of mid-level corporate partners (typically £5k-£25k) and a skilled Senior Officer in place to manage and grow those relationships, you’ll be free to focus on securing new, higher-value partnerships and support.

The Role:

You’ll lead our corporate new business development identifying and approaching companies aligned with our mission, and converting them into long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Fundraising to cultivate high-net worth individuals and senior volunteers who can introduce us to the right people and help get us in the room.

Working with colleagues across communications, marketing and services, you’ll create professional, pitch-ready presentations and proposals that inspire companies to partner with us – and then deliver those pitches at a senior level, with confidence and clarity.

Key responsibilities:

· Research, Identify and approach new corporate prospects, building a strong pipeline of potential six-figure partners

· Lead on creating bespoke, compelling pitch decks and proposals, working with the communications and Marketing Team to ensure quality and impact.

· Deliver high-level presentations and pitches to senior stakeholders across a range of industries.

· Work with the Director of Fundraising to identify and engage major donors and key contacts who can help unlock introductions and strategic support

· Manage Senior Officer who leads on existing mid-level corporate partnerships.

· Support the growth of the mid-level portfolio and ensure excellent stewardship and reporting for all corporate partners.

· Collaborate with marketing, communications, and service delivery teams to ensure partnerships are meaningful, on-brand, and mutually beneficial.

· Monitor income and pipeline progress, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking.

What we’re looking for:

· A track record of securing new business or corporate partnerships, ideally in a fundraising CSR setting

· Confident writing and presenting skills, with experience creating professional pitch decks and delivering high-level presentations

· A strategic thinker who can spot opportunities, plan a compelling approach, and close the deal

· Experience collaborating across teams (e.g. Marketing design, service delivery) to shape proposals and deliver joint objectives

· A strong relationship-builder with the credibility to work with senior executives, philanthropists and decision-makers

· Organised, self-starting and passionate about helping families when they need it most

· Line management experience desirable, but not essential

This is an exciting opportunity to join the City of London’s Central Funding and Charity Management Team (CFCMT) as a Funding and Charity Manager, to support the Funding and Charity Management Lead to deliver the Community Infrastructure Levy Neighbourhood Fund and other grant programmes.

The Central Funding and Charity Management Team are based in the City Bridge Foundation but work across the City of London’s different functions. The Team develops, manages and delivers funding programmes across the City of London Corporation and its different functions as a Local Authority, a Corporation and a Corporate Trustee. In addition, the Team manages 6 Charities on behalf of the City of London and has a Charity policy and governance remit across the whole City of London charity portfolio.

The Team oversees the CIL Neighbourhood Fund, Proceeds of Crime Act Funding and the Central Grants Programme and manages 6 charities on behalf of the City of London that provide funding across a variety of initiatives.

You will assess applications to the CFCMT working across a variety of grant programmes including a significant strategic grant initiative for two City of London Charities. You will support the Teams evolving ‘Funder Plus’ offer and implementing a ‘total assets approach’ to use the full range of funding, knowledge, networks and expertise available through City Bridge Foundation and the City of London Corporation; and make recommendations to Members to guide their funding decisions.

You will manage an interesting and diverse portfolio of funding agreements and ensure that the monitoring and evaluation are carried out; distilling any learning from the portfolio in line with the Units commitment to Learning and Impact.

The Eikon Charity helps children and young people in Surrey to feel and be safe, heard, and supported. Through one-to-one support, group work, and programmes in schools, Eikon helps children build confidence, resilience, and the skills they will need to navigate life’s challenges.

This is a senior fundraising role within Eikon’s Trusts & Grants team, focused on generating significant voluntary income from charitable trusts, foundations, and local government funders. With an overall team target of £1m, this postholder will contribute around £250k per year through a mix of high-quality applications, strategic account management, and relationship building.

The role requires both strong bid writing skills (especially for complex, high-value and multi-year proposals) and excellent interpersonal skills to develop and steward relationships with funders. It offers the opportunity to take on more responsibility within the team, deputise for the Grants Lead when needed, and help shape Eikon’s fundraising approach.

As Senior Trust Fundraiser, you will:

• Raise circa £250k annually from a mix of trusts, foundations, and local government grant funders (restricted and unrestricted)
• Lead on developing a portfolio of high-value, multi-year funders, cultivating new prospects and strengthening existing relationships
• Research, write, and submit compelling, tailored proposals and reports
• Work collaboratively with the Grants Lead on strategic bids (e.g. The National Lottery Community Fund, Community Foundation for Surrey)
• Develop an approach for growing unrestricted income
• Actively network across Surrey to identify new leads and opportunities
• Provide excellent account management through regular reporting, funder meetings, and creative stewardship (e.g. site visits, events)
• Manage accurate pipeline and reporting on Donorfy CRM, supporting both team and board-level reporting
• Deputise for the Grants Lead at meetings where required
• Provide peer support to colleagues in the fundraising team

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Proven track record in trusts and foundations fundraising (including complex, high-value proposals)
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information persuasively
• Confident in building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders
• Comfortable independently representing Eikon at external meetings and networking events
• Strong organisational and time management skills – able to balance writing, relationship building, and reporting
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable; able to deputise when required
• Experience of the children, education, or mental health sectors desirable
• Based in or near Surrey, with willingness to travel regularly within the county
• Driving licence essential

As our new Community Heat and Energy Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering our major new community heat and energy workstrand. You’ll work with local communities and expert research partners to move forward local renewable energy projects which help power clean heat solutions at three different sites in England, as well as developing ways to remove barriers to delivering this type of project, such as supplying energy locally and matching supply and demand.

• Contract: 16 months at 4.5 days per week (or a nine-day fortnight if preferred). We are not accepting applications for job shares for this role. While we would like to extend the contract beyond 16 months, as this is a grant-funded role, we cannot currently offer this.

• Work status: We don’t have a sponsor licence, so we're unable to provide sponsorship for a work visa, and candidates are required to hold the right to work for the duration of the contract.

• Salary: £39,200 for a 4.5 day week (pro-rata’d from £43,556 FTE). This is band C3 on our pay scale. 

• Location: Some of the role will be site-specific. We are therefore open to candidates based anywhere in the UK, although some travel to project sites will be required, and there will be an  occasional requirement to attend our Camden office, although you would be welcome to work there more often.

• Working hours: 0.9 FTE, i.e. 4.5 days per week or a 9 day fortnight. Our core working days are Tuesday and Wednesdays, when all staff are required to work.

As Fundraising Lead, you will already be a passionate grant writer or fundraiser looking to expand your role, incorporating grant writing and fundraising.  You will innovate and bring unique ideas to the role, developing  a strong foundation to lead a successful fundraising team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Essex wide charity and play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering people to age well.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

· Prepare and manage fundraising budgets, forecasting potential income and expenditure for fundraising initiatives.

· Working with marketing team to showcase partnership activity on social media, website, bespoke newsletters and press preparing and editing case studies.

· Build excellent working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, creating processes that support efficiencies and collaborative working.

· Deliver and own fundraising strategies that will excite and motivate donors to support Age Well East.

· Train, mentor, and coordinate the contributions of volunteers and staff engaged in fundraising activities.

· Innovate new initiatives and campaigns to diversify income streams, e.g., digital fundraising, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

· Liaise with finance and service delivery teams to report on grant expenditure and impact, ensuring funders’ requirements are met.

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional, creative and strategic fundraising leader to shape and deliver a new public fundraising and supporter engagement strategy, driving significant income growth across individual giving, legacies, community, events and trading.

As Associate Director, Public Fundraising, you will be a motivating leader for the talented Supporter Engagement team.  You will work with your leadership group to build on our successful approach to mass fundraising, aligning with our new organisational strategy to drive long-term transformational growth.

We are seeking someone with a passion for audience-led fundraising, who will lead and empower the team of 46 to explore new opportunities, grow income and build sustainable relationships.  Ultimately this will mean that our public fundraising programme will enable the charity to deliver its ambitious vision for the future, ensuring that every young person with cancer gets the support they need.

This is a pivotal role across the wider Income Generation directorate, supporting the Director and colleagues to deliver the overall Income Generation strategy, demonstrating YLvC values, and helping to develop our high performing team.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
 
The Events Community Fundraiser will lead the development and delivery of RABI’s community events programme, working closely with volunteers, regional supporters, and local stakeholders. This pivotal role focuses on organising and supporting fundraising events that unite our community while driving vital income generation. The Events Community Fundraiser will not manage every community fundraising event directly, but will provide the necessary support, training and guidance to ensure volunteers and local teams are equipped to execute fundraising activities successfully.
 
As a key player in our community-focused fundraising efforts, the Events Community Fundraiser will be at the forefront of fostering regional engagement and support for our committees and community groups, ensuring the continued success and growth of RABI’s fundraising events portfolio. This role will also be responsible for identifying and scaling key events that have the potential to be rolled out nationally, expanding RABI’s reach and impact across a broader geographic area.
 
With a strong emphasis on relationship management and supporter stewardship, the Events Community Fundraiser will spearhead the growth of community-led fundraising initiatives, ensuring that both supporters and volunteers (committee and non-committee) feel valued and empowered. Supported by both centralised and regional teams, this role will play an instrumental part in helping RABI achieve its ambitious five-year fundraising goal of £10 million.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Event Planning and Coordination: Organise and manage a wide range of community fundraising events (e.g. agriculture shows, supporter-led, community and corporate) from concept to execution, ensuring every event is well-planned and runs smoothly.
• Community Engagement: Develop relationships with local community groups, businesses and individuals to foster collaboration and secure event participation. Act as the main point of contact for community stakeholders and partners.
• Promotion and Marketing: Work with the Marketing and Communications team to help create event marketing materials to promote events and drive participation.
• Fundraising Strategy: Set and achieve fundraising targets for each event. Identify new opportunities for fundraising through events and provide recommendations for improving event-related fundraising efforts.
• Volunteer Management: Support volunteers with event planning, logistics and on-the-day activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that expenses are controlled and fundraising goals are met. Monitor event spending and provide regular budget reports.
• Donor and Sponsor Stewardship: Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring they are properly acknowledged and thanked for their contributions.
• On-the-Day Event Management: Oversee the event on the day to ensure smooth execution, including coordinating logistics, managing staff and volunteers and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing successes and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on fundraising outcomes and gather feedback from participants to inform future event improvements.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing and Communications, Service Delivery, Volunteering and Finance, etc) to align community fundraising efforts with RABI’s overall purpose and goals.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards, upholding RABI’s commitment to ethical and legal fundraising.
• Systems: Effectively use RABI’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to track donor engagement, segment audiences and identify growth opportunities.

 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 
Essential:

• Proven experience in community fundraising, regional fundraising or events within the charity sector.
• A track record of delivering successful community fundraising events.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, equipped with the skills to engage and inspire a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and volunteers.
• Financial awareness and planning with the ability to develop and manage project-level budgets.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple fundraising activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practices in community fundraising.
• A self-motivated, proactive and results-driven approach to work with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
• Empathy with the farming community and an understanding of the challenges faced in rural life.

 
Desirable:

• Experience working in a charity focused on rural, agricultural or community-based initiatives.
• A full UK driving licence, as travel within England and Wales will be required.
• Knowledge of agriculture and the farming sector, with an ability to tailor fundraising approaches accordingly.

The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) aims to create and develop the conditions that will enable people who have Down's syndrome to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives. We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Fundraising Events Officer to join our fundraising team.

Reporting to the Fundraising and Events Manager, the successful candidate will manage all challenge events in the portfolio.  This includes the planning, organisation, marketing, delivery, recruitment and stewardship of participants and day to day administration for all DSA events.

The Main Responsibilities of the role are

Assist the Fundraising and Events Manager with future event plans and creating and building on our Community Fundraising offer.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation. Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.  Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams. You’ll work with communications staff to develop impactful donor communications which enhance our accountability and inspire renewed major donations.  You will have a demonstrable track record in winning grants as well as in the stewardship of major donors.  Occasional trips to France. As Fundraising Manager you will have a clear vision for implementing fundraising plans to develop current and new income streams, maximising the effectiveness of our fundraising programme. You will play a key role in delivering Dorset County Hospital Charity's fundraising programme, as part of a small, collaborative team raising funds from a range of sources including events, challenges, corporate, grants, community fundraisers and individual giving.
