Data Insights Officer

This is a newly created Data Insights Officer role within the Systems team, where you will significantly enhance the capacity and expertise in data analysis and reporting.

You will be instrumental in embedding a data-driven culture, driving analyses and insights to feed into decision making throughout the Network.

The focus for this role will be supporting the Network's young people’s engagement strategy. The Data and Insights Officer will contribute to reporting design, ensuring data informs decision-making at all levels, and will provide ongoing support through tracking the impact of new young people engagement initiatives, helping identify indicators for success.

About the Role

You will play a vital role, driving enhancements in data capture and strengthening the Network's ability to demonstrate the measurable impact of its youth work. This role is perfect for someone who can translate complex data analysis into compelling narratives within a youth work context, drawing out insights to shape recommendations for the Network.

Key responsibilities

· Ensure parent carers have someone to work alongside them to help to overcome barriers they are facing as a family as a result of their child/’s sensory impairment.

· Provide practical assistance (such as letter writing and attending meetings with a parent carer) where this is needed.  This will include assisting with the Education & Health Care Plan (EHCP) to ensure it accurately reflects their needs.

· To assess and identify when the needs of the children and their families are not being met and work with parents, other professionals, and organisations as appropriate to address the issues with the aim of ensuring that the children have the opportunities and environments that will enable them to reach their potential and achieve their aspirations.

· Reduce loneliness and social isolation for parent carers by both connecting them with wider parent carer support services, and by organising and facilitating opportunities for them to come together, such as through drop-in events at community café’s and parent led support groups.

· Empower and enable parent carers to have the knowledge, skills, confidence, and support they need to advocate for their child/children through organising group training workshops and development around specific topics, creating and sharing resources that will help, and through our Power to The Parents event.

· To support children and young people through transition from children’s services into adult services, engaging with SEND services and adult services where appropriate.

· To follow all policies, including those focused on confidentiality, equality, and diversity. 

· Keep accurate and up to date records of work completed and support provided.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in the delivery of the income accounting provision at Hastoe.

You will assist our Management Accountant with the accounting, management and reconciliation of Hastoe’s solar photovoltaic portfolio, including the income that Hastoe receives from Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) payments. You will also assist with general management account duties.

The role will require close working and collaboration with colleagues within the Finance team and wider organisation (in particular our Housing and Property services teams), as well as communicating externally with other stakeholders regarding our PV panel portfolio. You will also need to liaise with Hastoe’s FIT licencee and other external organisations.

You will also assist with an exciting project to modernise Hastoe’s PV panel metering and data collection processes.

Duties will include:

• Assist the Management Accounts team to input accruals, Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) payment schedules and invoices relating to Hastoe’s solar photovoltaic (PV) panel portfolio.
• Assist with administration for said PV panel portfolio, accessing online portals, monitoring status of PV panels and payments.
• Liaise with Hastoe’s FiT licensee(s) to submit and receive information relating to the panels.
• Assist with the maintenance and servicing as required of the PV panel portfolio, working closely with Hastoe’s Property Services Team.
• Assist with completing reconciliations to ensure payments are allocated and accounted for correctly.
• Assist with reconciliations, month-end and other management accounts functions.

The main function of the Bookings Team Executive role is to provide high quality customer service for the Into Film Festival. About the Role

As our Trust and Statutory Fundraiser, you’ll lead our statutory fundraising programme, focusing on government funding and the lottery, while also supporting large trust funding applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of funders and overseeing grant management.

• Researching and developing statutory funding sources.

• Crafting compelling cases for support to secure winning bids.

• Building relationships with funders and internal teams.

• Collaborating on impactful projects and providing timely, high-quality reporting.

A large part of this role is leading on our funding for work in prisons, managing a portfolio of over £1,000,000 across the UK and Ireland.

​

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience securing 5- and 6-figure grants through compelling applications.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

• Strong organisational and project management abilities.

• A solid understanding of bid processes and statutory funding.

• The ability to create and manage budgets with attention to detail.
