The Development Assistant is an essential part of the Cathedral’s fundraising function and provides important support to the team, streamlining processes, acting as a first point of contact and managing the fundraising database for the organisation.
As Development Assistant you will:
· Have fantastic communication skills and excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all enquiries and managing the Fundraising inbox.
· Enhance the development team through robust administration processes and providing essential administrative support across all income streams, including administering the Cathedral’s Planned Giving scheme.
· Work with the Finance team to efficiently manage payment processes and administration and ensure timely acknowledgement of gifts.
· Support excellent donor engagement and stewardship through thank you letters, mailings, creation of literature and event co-ordination and support.
· Assist collating information and co-ordinating regular supporter communications across different channels to inspire people and demonstrate the impact of support.
· Deepen supporter relationships through accurately recording all income and activities on the Cathedral’s CRM system. Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM and keeping records up to date. (We are currently reviewing our systems, and this role will be instrumental in supporting implementation of any new systems.)
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of data and reports for use by the wider team to support future plans and activity.
· Amplify the prospecting work of the team by undertaking preliminary research and preparing briefing materials, in consultation with members of the team.
· Showcase the work of the Cathedral through supporting event organisation.
· Be keen to develop your fundraising skills and undertake relevant training and skills development to keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.
· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

PSS invented Shared Lives back in 1978 and it’s now become a national model of care that lots of other social care providers run. We’re really proud of that. Alongside the head of Shared Lives, your job will be to make sure each one of the services in Shared Lives is absolutely top-notch in every way:

On a day-to-day basis, your work would involve things like:
- Getting behind our Shared Lives teams and offering them your support with Care Quality Commission (CQC) compliance, safeguarding reports and complaints
- Leading the way when we win new contacts in new areas of the UK (the plan is to grow our schemes)
- Deputising for our head of Shared Lives: maintaining the risk register for services, identifying, managing, monitoring and escalating risks appropriately when our head of Shared Lives isn’t around
- Helping keep our Shared Lives carers and supported people feeling happy, connected, motivated and part of our big Shared Lives family
- Finding out what our carers and supported people need and how they feel things are going by heading out on the road to meet them
- Supporting our Shared Lives communications and engagement manager with nailing any info and insights they need for their role by sharing what you know, and supporting them with maintaining and introducing communications and engagement initiatives

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse.

Purpose
The Programme Officer will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of project delivery activities across our portfolio, predominantly in Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
The post holder will support project delivery, ensuring quality expectations (internal and client), delivering within the scope and budgeted resources of projects, and in line with project timelines. The post holder will work closely with other members of the project delivery team, our technical team, delivery partners, and consultants to ensure projects maximise their positive impact.

Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Programme Officer include the following:
Project Support

- Set-up and monitor project workplans, including change requests ensuring that approvals are formally recorded and filed

The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an organised, analytical and proactive Development Research and Operations Manager (DROM) to support the growth in fundraising activity of a busy and ambitious orchestra. The post-holder will deliver high-quality philanthropic research, pipeline and CRM management, the creation of donor briefings for individual, corporate and trust supporters, and horizon scanning for new and future opportunities.
As the department’s research and CRM lead, the DROM will generate prospect research on those suggested by senior volunteers (Board, Development Board etc.) and those identified in our database, Tessitura. They will support fundraisers across giving streams to create engagement and cultivation plans, and act as the pipeline management champion for the team. The DROM will support fundraisers to ensure activity and contacts is logged consistently, working closely with the Head of Development to monitor KPIs, track and record income and maintain accurate donor and donation records.
This position is central to ensuring that frontline fundraisers can focus on income generation, supported by robust operational processes, accurate data, and high-quality research.
This role reports to the Head of Development and will work closely with the Senior Development Manager (Philanthropy) and Director of Development. The work of the Development team is actively supported by the Philharmonia’s Development Board.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Pipeline Development:

About the HR Lead role
As Norfolk Rivers Trust’s first dedicated HR professional, the HR Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing effective people practices that align with the organisation’s culture, values, and strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with the Senior Management Team and Line Managers, the HR Lead will offer expert guidance and operational support across the entire employee lifecycle.
This standalone, hands-on position requires a proactive self-starter who is confident in establishing new processes and adaptable to the needs of a small but growing organisation. The role is diverse and dynamic, ranging from advising managers on complex employee matters, enhancing recruitment practices, updating policies, to leading wellbeing initiatives.

Key duties and responsibilities
HR Policy and Compliance
- Develop, implement, monitor and maintain HR policies and procedures ensuring they comply with employment legislation and reflect best practice.

Employee Relations
- Provide guidance to managers on a range of employee relations matters including absence management, performance concerns, disciplinary and grievance processes, flexible working, and annual leave.

- Coordinate complex or sensitive employee relations casework in collaboration with line managers and external advisors where appropriate.
Line Manager Support
- Act as a key advisor to line managers, providing coaching, tools and resources to help them manage their teams effectively.
- Deliver training and guidance on key HR topics (e.g. performance management, recruitment best practice, probation and employee wellbeing).
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage the recruitment process, reviewing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, shortlisting applications, overseeing interview process.

- Manage new starter onboarding, ensuring new starters have a positive and structured induction experience.
Employee Lifecycle Administration

Performance and Development
- Coordinate the performance review process (including appraisal, probation and the annual staff survey), providing support to managers to ensure a consistent approach.

Systems and Payroll
· Implement and maintain a HR management system.
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary changes, benefits and statutory deductions to administer payroll and payroll records.
HR Data and Reporting
- Produce HR data and reports (e.g. staff turnover, absence, diversity data) to feed into the management team and use data to make recommendations regarding future practice.
- Use HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving people management practices.
Strategic HR Support
- Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation (e.g. workforce planning, reward, and staff engagement).
- Promote and drive delivery of the Trust’s equity, diversity, and inclusion priorities, through advice monitoring and collaboration.
- Work with Senior Management Team to contribute to and drive HR strategy development and implementation, including reward strategy, recruitment and selection strategies, talent and succession planning, alignment between HR strategy and business goals, supporting change management processes.

The purpose of the role
The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. The purpose of this role is to support the Director, Mass Markets by implementing the Retention strategy in order to generate long-term sustainable growth, cultivate a loyal and engaged donor base and maximise net revenue.
As Retention Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for annual operational planning and delivery across for the retention programme, including for emergency appeals. You will work closely with the Director, Mass Markets to create and manage significant annual budgets, ensuring return on investment is maximised at all times. Supported by the Retention Marketing Executive, you will oversee all campaign activity, ensuring that it meets the strategic objectives and financial goals of the department.

Key accountabilities
Strategy and planning
- Support the Director, Mass Markets in the development and delivery of the retention strategy and priorities
- Identify, scope and deliver new and innovative opportunities that advance the retention strategy
- Manage retention operational planning, including leading annual, quarterly and monthly planning sessions, defining key deliverables and ensuring all activity supports the aims of the retention strategy

- Oversee the design and implementation of customer journeys across all segments and products, in order to increase loyalty, average value and product holdings

We are looking for a Product and Programme Manager to lead on our High Value and Professionals workstream within our Legacies team.

As a Product and Programme Manager you will drive forward our High Value and professionals strategy, to provide compelling experiences for audiences, grow lifetime value, and deliver on CRUK's promise to research.
In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of our High Value and Professionals strategy for Legacies, creating compelling experiences that resonate with key audiences, enhance lifetime value, and help fulfil CRUK's commitment to pioneering research. You'll work in close partnership with colleagues across Philanthropy and Supporter Relationship Management to ensure our strategy is executed seamlessly, providing outstanding supporter journeys across every CRUK touchpoint.
What will I be doing?
Work with the Senior Proposition Manager to drive continued growth of CRUK audiences and supporters by managing the proposition with innovative, agile, multi-year proposition and implementation plans, working collaboratively and cross-functionally across the directorate and beyond.
Support the management of the P&L for the proposition, ensuring agile cross-functional teams deliver against audience, volume, value, contribution, and other targets
Support the Senior Proposition Manager in delivering sound resource allocation plans, proposition briefs and business cases in collaboration with the proposition and being cognisant of the propositions' role and the part it plays in a supporters' overall relationship with the charity
Contribute to a culture of end-to-end delivery and collective team-level accountability, adhering to standards set and upheld in conjunction with the Product and Programme Community of Practice and any external benchmarking of best practice in our sector
Facilitate group activity, including cross-functional decision-making, dependency, risk, issue mediation, performance evaluation and changes to the implementation plan, working in collaboration with the proposition SLT and cross-functional stakeholders
Understand appropriate governance frameworks to ensure that activities are managed effectively, and decisions and escalations are managed appropriately
Liaise with the Senior Proposition Manager, relevant teams from Information and Involvement and Audience, Strategy & Innovation teams to help identify opportunities for horizon 1 development; ensuring that CRUK is future-proof, and that the right decisions are made for audiences
Work closely with Data, Insights & Performance teams to deliver an audience-led approach to proposition planning, management, and development, helping to identify key trends and market disruptions, and capturing the implications for the proposition
Coordinate with Marketing & Digital teams to ensure compelling and sensitive campaigns and digital experiences for audiences that inspire action and support for the mission
What are you looking for?
Experience in building and driving forward propositions so they are commercially valuable, meaningful, relevant to target audiences needs and differentiated in the market. This could be through a background in legacies, philanthropy, academic institutions or other charity backgrounds
Relevant experience in advancing innovative, journey-led thinking into tangible action plans, business processes, and systems to maximise value over the long and short term
Relevant experience of digital and insight led solutions, services and approaches including understanding of the principles of service design and methodologies, that can support commercial success and horizon 1 innovation, to drive competitive challenge and distinctiveness
Experience of managing complex initiatives and projects involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers either within a charitable or commercial environment, including the ability to understand, work and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Commercial, analytical and strategic thinking adept at bringing the outside in, translating insights into successful propositions
Facilitation skills, including the ability to effectively manage and influence cross-functional teams and meetings to deliver the required outcome within the time allocated, but also to ability to empower teams to make decisions independently

About the Role
The Content Creator will play a vital role in helping Urban Saints communicate with clarity, creativity, and consistency across all platforms. From video editing and creating social media graphics, to designing resources, brochures, or branded assets, this role is responsible for creating visually engaging content that amplifies our message and inspires action.
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing and producing compelling visual content across digital and print formats.
- Filming and editing videos for campaigns, training materials and resources.
- Managing and editing visual assets, including team-supplied images.
- Contributing ideas and visual concepts to support campaigns and storytelling.
- Acting as a brand guardian for visual content, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Working closely with other members of the Communications team to deliver content for campaigns, training, and wider initiatives.
Please note, this is predominantly a remote role, but with travel as the role requires. All full-time Urban Saints employees are required to attend two team residentials per year (3 days/ 2 nights each).
About You
You'll shape and deliver high-quality content that supports campaigns, promotes our training and resources, and strengthens Urban Saints’ brand both online and in print.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong design and video editing skills across digital and print formats.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut etc)
- Confident in video production – from filming to postproduction.
- Ability to develop content for a range of platforms including social media, web, email, and YouTube.
- Strong attention to detail and visual consistency.
- Proven experience in a content creation, multimedia, or graphic design role.
- Experience creating visual content as part of multi-channel campaigns (e.g. email, social media, website etc).
- Experience working with brand guidelines and visual identities.
- Understanding of digital content trends, platform specifications, and audience behaviour.
