About the Department/Role
The Church of England is continually striving to improve its safeguarding practices. The 2020 report by IICSA on the Church highlighted failures in respect of child sexual abuse and, more broadly, the challenges facing the Church to get safeguarding right.
The Church's aspiration is that safeguarding is not experienced and approached as a matter of administrative compliance. Rather, it should be what the Church is - something that flows from its core beliefs and values, part of its DNA.
The Church has made important and positive strides over recent years. There is, however, still much to be done to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and to promote their well-being. The Church is a complex collection of different bodies. Most of the safeguarding work is carried out locally within the 42 dioceses and cathedrals in England. This work is supported centrally by a National Safeguarding Team (NST).
The NST itself comprises three departments: Casework, Programmes and Administration, and Learning and Development, which provides high-quality safeguarding learning, policy, and guidance to those working, paid or unpaid, licensed or lay, in the Church of England. This role will be pivotal to delivering learning and development.
What you'll be doing
In this vital role, you'll join a dynamic team committed to nurturing high-quality safeguarding practice throughout the Church. You'll work alongside our two National Safeguarding Learning and Development Managers, delivering engaging in-person and online training for senior leaders, diocesan staff, and safeguarding officers.
Main responsibilities
- Deliver national learning events, including SLSP, with a focus on systemic theory and leadership development.
- Facilitate sensitive conversations around safeguarding culture, ensuring a safe and reflective learning environment.
- Evaluate the impact of training, contribute to continuous learning improvements, and support new pathway development.
- Organise and lead professional development programmes for Safeguarding Officers and Trainers.
Key role requirements
- This is a homeworking role; however, this position requires the post holder to frequently travel across England, visiting Dioceses and Cathedrals, including overnight stays and occasional weekend commitments.
- A basic DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks.

About the role:
We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Engagement and Support Officer (ESO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by people in contact with the criminal justice system and will work proactively to establish meaningful and sustainable cross-referral pathways with external agencies. They will nurture a professional, inclusive, and safe working environment; use their knowledge, insights, and expertise to support tangible outcomes for all Open The Gate participants; and develop the wider programme offer in line with our organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities:
1. Nurturing a professional working environment where Open The Gate Apprentices are supported to achieve their potential.
2. Building and maintaining referral partnerships with external agencies [including HMP resettlement teams, probation services, approved premises and community-based organisations supporting prison-leavers] to increase participant numbers and sustain engagement with Open the Gate.
3. Coordinating applications and referrals for prospective Apprentices, gathering relevant information for dissemination to the wider team.
4. Working with colleagues in the Programmes team to develop risk management and support plans for each Apprentice, using information regarding offences, licence conditions and risk areas, liaising closing with the probation service and other agencies where relevant.
5. Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe recording of all information and personal data.

This is your opportunity to design and manage the delivery of a new and exciting programme of work for the Ambitions National Partnership for Palliative Care and End of Life Care, working with senior NHS and statutory and voluntary sector partners. You’ll also lead an innovative Marie Curie pilot focusing on working through primary care to improve end of life care in care homes. Your expertise and evidence-led approach will help shape decisions at local, regional, and national levels - creating a more equitable system for those at the end of life.

Programme Delivery Officer role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of the First Give programme in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, plus providing guidance and troubleshooting for the lead teachers at First Give partner schools.
The role will be hybrid, with 3 days a week in our main offices in West Hampstead, London. Regular travel to schools across London and the South East will be required.

Job Description
Catch22 are excited to be recruiting for a specialist Women & Girls Case worker for our new Home Office Funded County Lines Support and Rescue Service. The Case Worker role will undertake 121 work with young people under 25yrs old and will specialise in working with female young people within the service.
Rescue Service a rescue service with out of hours capacity to facilitate the safe return home, at a critical teachable moment, of under 25’s from London, the West Midlands, Merseyside and Greater Manchester where they are identified outside of their home police force area in connection with county lines.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will be:
- Provide one to one, end to end, appropriate support, and interventions to a pre-defined case load of female young people involved in County Lines activity (and their families where appropriate) who are referred by means of effective assessment, care planning and risk management
- Act as the single point of contact and specialist in the region for women and girls involved in County Lines activity. Attend multi-agency meetings and engage with key stakeholders to raise awareness of the distinct needs and circumstances of women and girls and how the service can support them. Act as point of contact in the region for our partners, providing gender based training, awareness and developing a differentiated offer to improve the impact and effectiveness of services for women and girls involved in County Lines Activity.
- Proactively and continually assess and manage risk of caseload, using internal and external safeguarding procedures for escalation and where necessary and adapting case management frequency and methodology to reflect the individual needs and circumstances of young people.
- To ensure that the diverse needs and aspirations of all groups of service users are considered in service planning and delivery and to enable all service users to fulfil their potential.
- Liaise effectively with local partner organisations and other relevant agencies to ensure effective referrals, care and risk management as well as ease of transition and referral for young people and to promote the continued joint work of the service and other partners. Act as a sub-regional or district single point of contact where required.
This post will involve travel across the regional area, the ability be on call on a rota system and occasional evening and weekend working.
Qualifications/Experience
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a related field such as youth work, community work, health & social care, or a similar discipline.
- Experience working directly with young people (aged 8–25) and their families, particularly those identified as vulnerable or with complex needs.
- A strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by young women and girls affected by exploitation and County Lines activity.

About The Role
We are recruiting for an Events Fundraising Manager within the Third Party and Organise Your Own (OYO) team. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract.
This is an amazing opportunity to join our sector leading Third Party & Organise Your Own (OYO) team in a key managerial position. As Events Fundraising Manager, you’ll guide and inspire a talented and motivated team to deliver some of the UK’s most exciting fundraising events, contributing towards an ambitious £12M income target for 2025/26.
From strategic planning to on-the-day delivery, you’ll lead and project manage some of our highest value third party event programmes, including London Marathon and the Great Run Series. You’ll bring together internal stakeholder groups to maximise opportunities for recruitment, supporter engagement and income generation. Working closely with our Events Marketing, Media, Press & Celebrity and Participant Experience teams, you’ll take a test and learn approach to innovate marketing campaigns, refine supporter journeys, and build exceptional relationships with event organisers and suppliers.
Managing four direct reports, each with their own event portfolio, you’ll build and role model a culture of excellence in supporter experience, marketing delivery, and partnership management, ensuring every event makes a lasting impact. Award-winning music education charity, the London Music Fund, is seeking a Fundraising & Data Manager from October 2025 to join our small team of 3. The role is varied and interesting, with a fundraising and donor reporting focus – the post-holder will support the CEO with all fundraising for the charity, including writing Trust and Foundation applications, research on new prospects, and managing donor reporting. In addition, we hold 2-3 major fundraising events each year, and this role would support the CEO in all aspects of event management.
We are also looking for someone who is interested in developing our impact reporting, working with the Programmes Manager to develop evaluation frameworks, using and gathering data to support impact reporting to donors.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
The charity currently raises c. £750k annually from a variety of sources including individuals, trusts and foundations, corporates and events. The key aspects of this role are:
Trusts and Foundations
- Research and draft Trust and Foundation applications, updating the prospects and pending report, managing pipelines.
- Manage the reporting schedule (with the Programmes Manager).
- Collate data for reports and maintain positive relationships with funders.
Individual Donor Relations:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records on Salesforce and SharePoint.
- Respond to donor enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage donor communications, including thank you letters and updates.
- Assist with donor stewardship activities to build relationships and encourage continued support.
- Manage the Scholarship Sponsor reporting schedule (with the Programmes Manager).
- Lead on the management and growth of the Friends Scheme, including developing relationships and reporting.
Data Management and Impact Reporting
- Maintain and update the fundraising database (Salesforce), including GDPR and Gift Aid records, processing donations, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Develop methods of data analysis and segmentation for targeted fundraising efforts e.g. event attendees, Scholarship sponsors, major donors.
- Work with the Programmes Manager and CEO to develop quantitative KPIs and evaluation of programmes, including graduation data, surveys, alumni monitoring and developing a long-term impact framework.
General Fundraising Operational Support
- Lead on fundraising campaigns e.g. the Big Give Christmas Challenge and ad hoc projects.
- Support the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, in collaboration with the CEO.
Finance Support/Gift Aid
- Responsible for managing the online donations platform, Enthuse, including thanking donors and supporting the Senior Programmes and Operations Manager in reporting / reconciliations.
- Support the CEO in managing the quarterly Gift Aid reporting schedule.

Marketing & Comms
With the team:
- Manage LMF’s social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), posting regularly, growing reach, compiling strategy, keeping up to date with current trends.
- Manage LMF’s website and news stories, keeping updated, monitoring photos etc (within Scholars’ privacy policy), support the development of LMF’s new website launch in 2026.
