Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to increase the fundraising capability of The Vitiligo Society and secure the income we need to deliver our support to those affected by vitiligo. It is part of our new fundraising strategy.
Reporting to the Charity Director you will take the lead on establishing a fundraising programme. You will also support our community and membership fundraising, recruiting and supporting volunteer fundraisers and helping to improve and maintain our membership & donation processes.

Your Experience

Key responsibilities
Fundraising from Trusts and Foundations
Leading on applications to trusts and foundations with input from the Charity Director and delivery teams as needed, incl:

Writing and submitting high quality applications to trusts and foundations that reflect The Vitiligo Society and our members' stories.

Researching potential charitable trusts and foundations to approach for funding.

Build and maintain positive relationships with key personnel in relevant funding organisations.

Support monitoring and evaluation and coordinate relevant reporting to funders.

Establishing and maintaining a funders database within our existing CRM system.
Community Fundraising

Assisting with improving the processes for donations from individuals.

Working in cooperation with the staff, trustees and volunteers to develop and deliver up to 3 fundraising campaigns per year (a minimum of 1).

At West London Synagogue (WLS), we have made a commitment to helping London’s most vulnerable residents regardless of faith and background. This is achieved through delivering direct services to those who need it most. We have identified asylum seekers and refugees as the core communities in which we can have an impact.
We work closely with Westminster City Council, as well as local and national organisations to identify where our resources can be best focused, where we can bring added value, and where our teams of volunteers can make a meaningful impact.
We run 2 drop-ins each month. Our Family drop-in welcomes families with children and of all faiths and ethnic origins who are seeking asylum in the UK. We rely on volunteers to help provide a hot meal, grocery vouchers, toiletries, companionship, and advice for families who have fled life-threatening violence or persecution in their countries of origin.
As well, as our Family drop-in, we run the monthly 'Rainbow' Group.LGBTQI+ asylum seekers in the UK face the same challenges that most asylum seekers face in the UK. In addition, they face further challenges since their sexual orientation WLS opens its doors once a month to provide a safe space for LGBTQI+ asylum seekers to feel a warm community welcome, to build community together, and to receive vital support whilst living in poverty awaiting a decision on their asylum application.
At WLS we have recognised the unjust and compounded hardships for asylum seekers who are members of the LGBTQI+ community. We aim to create an environment where asylum seekers of the LGBTQI+ community can feel safe, supported, and comfortable.

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Campaign Manager to lead, plan, implement and evaluate campaign activity to showcase and promote us as Kingston and Richmond’s local Hospice, helping us to build trust and engagement now and to sustain future decades of community support.
You will lead on gathering insights on these local communities enabling us to create a campaign which resonates with and inspires people to support us, work with us and connect with us. You will collaborate to produce an innovative campaign, using digital and non-digital channels across a range of owned, paid and earned media.
Your success will be measured on results; increased awareness, understanding, engagement and activation that results in raising more income for Princess Alice Hospice. Building relationships with local stakeholders will also be key.
The role will be based at the Hospice but will require you to spend time on a weekly basis in both Kingston and Richmond. There is also some flexibility with regards to hybrid working.
Flexible, between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend and/or evening work required. Part-time (minimum 30 hours) will be considered.
About you
You will be an exceptional communicator. You will have experience of managing comprehensive campaigns across a range of media especially in local or community-based campaigns. Your ability to inspire, motivate and mobilise both internal colleagues and potential partners externally will be key. Overall, you will have excellent insight, planning, organisational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and appreciation of copy and production quality issues.

This role is a new post within our Fundraising and Communications team and an exciting opportunity to shape a growing area of our work. CAFOD’s mission in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and equip Catholics to actively engage in the Church’s efforts to overcome poverty and injustice. Our regional teams focus on recruiting and supporting a dedicated group of volunteers within parish and school communities, empowering them to educate, engage, and inspire others to act in solidarity for the common good. The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative and communications support to the Community Participation Coordinators across England and Wales, with a focus on the West & Wales region as the first point of contact. This includes coordinating administrative tasks performed by office volunteers and identifying opportunities for process improvements. This role can be based anywhere in the UK including our head office in London, working from home, from one of CAFOD’s Volunteer Centres, or a combination of both. WoW delivers a blend of life and vocational skills training, promoting general employability and improved wellbeing through work experience placements, internships, job brokerage, practical advice on self-employment and micro-businesses, ESOL classes and more. The programme provides women with opportunities to gain formal and accredited training qualifications and provide support with tailored into-work action plans.
About the Role

The Role
The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.
You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.
Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.
The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
- Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
- Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
- Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
- Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
- Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met
- Demonstrate everyone safe and well everywhere, every day by making health and safety a primary consideration in your decision making
What we need from you
A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methods and techniques, including Theory of Change and Logic Models

West London Crisis Recovery House is Registered Care Home, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to the residents aged 18 and upwards.
The Role
- To promote independence by supporting service users to move on positively.
- Develop networks across West London to build strong move-on pathways from the WLCH.
- Ensure discharge KPI timescales are adhered to within the WLCH.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with Team Managers to develop strong community links, ensuring effective housing support for all residents.
- Directly run, manage or supervise groups or activities as appropriate.
- Effectively manage a service user caseload by prioritising workload.
- Organise and provide purposeful one to one service user action planning sessions and reviews.
- Directly run, manage, or supervise activities and groups designed to support residents in the discharge process and their integration into previous or new living arrangements.
- Adhere to the Community service referral procedure.
- Using their processes, provide a needs assessment, risk assessment and risk management plan for each individual service user.
- Where appropriate refer service users to other support services e.g. housing, counselling, CAB etc.
- To increase service users’ independence and self-esteem, promote and encourage access to services that develop personal wellbeing, health, and life skills training
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained as detailed in their Confidentiality Policy.
- Participate in key aspects of the Service as requested by the Team Manager.
General Accountabilities
Administration:
- Maintain appropriate paperwork as required by the organisation and by the Commissioners who fund the day services.
- Provide copies of individual support plans and reviews of same to referrers.
- Accurately contribute to service monitoring systems.
- Maintain accurate service user’s records.
- Observe any written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice issued by the organisation.
- Provide regular reports as required to the Team Leader.
- Ensure the petty cash procedures are used when money is spent locally on groups/ activities and other resources.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and their Health and Safety policies and procedures
Liaison:
- Liaise with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies and provide information as necessary.
- Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with local community groups, resource providers, and partnership organisations.
- Present the Community Link Worker and the Day Service in a professional and positive way to external organisations.
- Attend local meetings and conferences of relevance to the service.
Supervision and Training:
- Accept regular support and monthly supervision from line management.
- Attend training courses and events as required.
- Attend and contribute to staff team meetings.
- Assist as requested in the selection of volunteers.
- Provide personal supervision to volunteers/ or less experienced workers as assigned.
- Assist as requested in the induction of new staff according to their Induction Policy

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across the West Midlands but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.
The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.
This is a community-based position working from home covering the West Midlands, delivering both remote and face to face support, ideally you will be based in Staffordshire or Shropshire. The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.
