The Role
As a Representation Coordinator at SUSU, you'll be part of a fast-paced, expert team working together to deliver our Representation offer. You'll coordinate and assist in the effective operation of the Representation team by encouraging and supporting our Student Officers, Academic Representatives, and subject based societies.  You will maintain and develop the Academic Representation structure, and maintain the transparency and integrity of the democratic structures of SUSU. You'll work to strengthen the student voice and identify issues that SUSU can take forward on behalf of SUSU.

About You
Whilst not essential, it's desirable that you hold demonstrable knowledge and understanding of University academic structure and processes in the Higher Education sector, and have experience in the specialist area of work - Student Representation. It's essential that you have experience in project development and management, delivery of training, and have excellent office administration skills, and you must be able to work in a student-lead environment of elected officers. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation primarily under legal aid contract. About the role

This role will provide leadership and management for CCLC particularly focused on the Legal Practice Unit’s legal aid billing operations. Through systematic and efficient management, the post-holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial and operational sustainability. The role will be accountable for maximising the unit’s legal aid billing in controlled work, certificated work and inter partes costs and will hold responsibility for the unit’s billing systems. It will also be responsible for private fees billing. The post-holder will oversee the smooth running of legal aid billing including through line management of the billing team. The post-holder will work very closely with legal, operations and administrative staff. The role will act as a key point of contact for a range of internal and external stakeholders including Coram’s central finance team who will support the role with grant fund management and overall accounting functions for CCLC. The post-holder will support the Managing Director of Legal Practice and Children’s Rights and department heads in the successful maintenance of our relationship with the Legal Aid Agency. Where appropriate they will be deputising for the Managing Director on legal aid and financial matters.

The role would suit a highly organised and efficient legal, or a finance or billing professional with solid experience of legal practice and a deep understanding of the challenges of legal aid. Whilst candidates with direct experience of legal billing (and more specifically civil legal aid billing) are welcomed, we recognise that this is a highly specialised and niche field. As such, this role could suit a highly experienced solicitor who appreciates the important role developing sustainable businesses plays in ensuring access to justice and who therefore wishes to move into practice and financial management. They will need an aptitude for processing large amounts of data, developing and managing spreadsheets and improving organisational systems. However, they will be well supported through training, an enthusiastic and competent junior billing team, the central finance team and an outsourced legal cashiering company, as well as a friendly and collaborative management team including the Managing Director and the Heads of Education Law, Community Care Law and Immigration and Asylum Law.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the billing team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period and there will be flexibility over how the three days will be spread across the week (within working hours). The team are mostly based in the London office and with one billing team member in Colchester so the post holder may require some occasional travel.

This role will lead on providing advice, inspiration and support for schools looking to develop their school library provision and all the benefits this brings. An expert in school libraries, you will be comfortable supporting members 1:1, delivering training to larger audiences, providing consultancy to schools and sector organisations, writing training and resources, or preparing book recommendations. Purpose of job

The Support and Integration Officer are responsible for providing excellent standards of support, as well as quality information advice and guidance, to enable the resettlement and successful integration of refugees. This role is one of the main pillars of the service that ACH provides.

Key Responsibilities

 Completing an initial Pre-Tenancy Assessment for each person referred to the service as well as developing a personalised plan of support for them ensuring that it is reviewed regularly

 Giving advice and support on a range of issues including housing, finance, education, employment, health and immigration, as required.

 Supporting people with budgeting / registering with care providers / creating social networks / advocacy/ volunteering / training / employment opportunities etc.

Individual Giving Lead (Supporter Experience)

As our Supporter Experience Lead, you’ll develop and deliver personalised, meaningful journeys for thousands of supporters. You will be the advocate for our donors—ensuring every interaction feels thoughtful, bespoke, and truly valued.
This role is pivotal in driving repeat giving, maximising donor loyalty, and increasing lifetime value across all Individual Giving channels. You’ll use insight, creativity, and innovation to build best-in-class supporter experiences, strengthen long-term relationships, and help shape the future of the donor stewardship.

Individual Giving Lead (Acquisition)

As our Acquisition Lead, you’ll focus on growth bringing new supporters into the community through diverse, multi-channel campaigns including digital, direct mail, and face-to-face.
 

You’ll lead innovative acquisition activity, test and optimise new approaches, analyse performance, and ensure the charity is always growing sustainably and strategically. As the expert in new donor recruitment, you will deliver high-quality campaigns that attract committed, long-term supporters inspired by life-changing impact.
