This is a new exciting combined role.
The Legal Administrator is a key component of the Asylum Aid team, overseeing all of our administrative systems and processes, and providing vital administrative support to our legal casework staff.
The Training Programme Coordinator supports the delivery of Asylum Aid’s two strategic partnerships that aim to help address the continuing fall in availability of immigration advice across England and Wales. The Compass Project and the Migrant Justice Greater London (MJGL) Partnership are designed to increase learning, collaboration and peer support opportunities between advice agencies and ultimately improve the provision of immigration advice to people seeking asylum, refugees, and other vulnerable people in the immigration system. This role provides key administrative support and coordination to ensure the effective delivery of both the Compass and MJGL training projects, working closely with Asylum Aid’s Immigration Supervisors and Director of Legal Casework, as well as external consultants, including the Learning Partner, managers and advisers at partner organisations.
Compass is Asylum Aid’s Advisor Development Programme of training, supervision and peer support for immigration advisers working in advice deserts across England and Wales. It is funded by the Justice Together Initiative. More information about the project can be found on our website here.
The Migrant Justice Greater London (MJGL) project is a partnership between Asylum Aid, Refugee Action and Praxis, designed to deliver legal training and supervision to frontline organisations across London. It is funded by the Greater London Authority.
Key responsibilities
Legal Administrator (approximately 4 days a week)
· To manage incoming and outgoing legal post in line with Asylum Aid’s procedures
· To post, email or arrange the dispatch of legal correspondence to clients, the Home Office, court or tribunal, counsel etc
· To receive and make telephone calls relating to casework activity, as well as covering the receptionist function in answering general incoming calls
· To manage the legal enquiries email inbox, triaging emails as appropriate
· To manage the team calendar and oversee key dates system
· To schedule and book appointments for clients, including the booking of interpreters or other experts where necessary
· To ensure all Legal Aid Agency monitoring information and other related information on cases such as disbursements and payment of invoices is recorded timely and accurately
· To assist with the preparation of electronic documents for the Home Office, court or tribunal
· To organise and maintain Asylum Aid’s legal archive, case filing system, legal library, and other documents
· To attend legal team meetings
· To assist Asylum Aid’s Billing Coordinator/caseworkers with preparation of files for billing where necessary
· To assist with general office administration, including administering petty cash
· To supervise the work of the Legal Administration Volunteer(s)
· To assist the Director in the administration of the Refugee Legal Group (RLG), which is a Google based group hosted by Asylum Aid
Training Programme Coordinator (approximately 1 day a week)
· To provide general administrative support for the Compass and MJGL programmes
· To monitor project timelines, plans, and budgets
· To organise in-person and remote training events, draft meeting agendas, take accurate minutes, coordinate travel for project participants, make and record project payments and provide logistical support for in-person events
· To assist in the promotion of the projects, including assisting with drafting external communications and social media, outreach to identify potential partner organisations, and supporting the recruitment of project participants
· To act as a central point of contact for multiple training projects, liaising with key stakeholders, including participant organisations, funders, the learning partner, and the clinical supervision provider
· To support the Learning Partner in monitoring and learning from the two projects, including facilitating learning opportunities with the partners and other organisations.

About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Ealing. You will support the Service Manager in leading a service which provides a recovery focused service to adults with long term mental health challenges. You will support the team to deliver person centred support to improve the lives of our residents, for them to gain greater independence to move onto lower support accommodation. You will do this through providing direct leadership and line management to the team so they feel empowered to perform within their roles.
You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. Some of what the role includes:

About you

We are looking for a person who is driven to reach targets through building relationships with bereaved supporters and partner organisations. You’ll also manage warm stewardship of legacy pledgers & become part of a passionate team at JGDR.
Hours: 35 hour per week (with occasional weekend or evenings)
Location: This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required across our operating regions – including North and South Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and East Yorkshire. The postholder will be expected to work flexibly in the community or on the road for meetings with supporters or partner organisations on at least four days per fortnight, with a minimum of one day per fortnight worked from a Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre (North Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire, or Nottinghamshire). The postholder will also be expected to attend regular team meetings in an agreed location.
As our sites are in rural locations, holding a full UK driving licence and having access to your own vehicle is essential. (Business mileage is reimbursed according to JGDR’s expenses policy.)
Purpose:
We are seeking a confident, compassionate and target driven individual to lead on the delivery of JGDR’s in memory giving programme and support the delivery of legacy marketing.
Working with the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, you will be driven to reach targets through building relationships. You will follow up with supporters who have given in memory of their dog, family member, or friend – often following a funeral collection – and help them take the next meaningful step, such as setting up a remembrance page, making a further donation, or exploring other ways to honour their memory. This role is responsible for raising circa £40,000 per year from a portfolio of in-memory products – with aims to grow this valued income line.
You’ll also manage warm stewardship of legacy pledgers and help deliver long-term marketing activity to keep gifts in wills front of mind.
This role would suit someone from a bereavement, funeral, or supporter-facing (sales or fundraising) background who is confident converting warm leads into action with care and professionalism.
Your role
You will sit in the Individual Giving and Legacies team and report to the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager.
Your focus will be on:
- Growing income from in-memory giving through proactive supporter engagement and lead conversion.
- Delivering light-touch legacy marketing and warm legacy stewardship, in support of long-term growth goals.
Responsibilities
In Memory Fundraising
· Work with the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager to develop and deliver the operational plan for in-memory fundraising, including campaign ideas, journeys and stewardship.
· Engage with in-memory donors via phone, email, post and in-person conversations, offering remembrance pages and other meaningful giving options.
· Proactively follow up leads and develop a pipeline to track progress and maximise conversion.
· Convert warm leads into active fundraising, donations, or page creation on our tribute fund platform, MuchLoved.
· Develop and maintain relationships with funeral directors, pet crematoriums and celebrants.
· Promote in-memory giving internally, supporting Operations, Retail and wider Fundraising and Marketing teams to spot and signpost opportunities.
Legacy Marketing & Pledger Stewardship
· Work with the IG and Legacies Manager to craft and execute legacy marketing campaigns and materials, supporting with copywriting and creative development.
· Oversee stewardship of legacy enquirers, intenders, and pledgers, ensuring they feel valued, thanked and connected
· Organise and deliver events or moments of recognition for pledgers, to promote legacy giving to long-term supporters and other target audience groups.
· Manage relationships with relevant agencies and external suppliers, e.g. free will writing services, local solicitors, and Remember a Charity Week.
- Champion legacy giving across JGDR, including working closely with colleagues in Operations and Retail to ensure that Centres and shops are equipped with the information and training needed to promote legacy giving effectively.
Other Duties
· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online.
· Keep up-to-date with sector trends and developments in legacy and in memory giving
· Attend ad hoc supporter and community events to represent JGDR and promote legacy and in memory giving
· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements
· Manage any complaints from supporters with empathy and professionalism, ensuring sensitive issues are escalated and resolved appropriately.
· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

· Ensure that our fundraising CRM is up-to-date, in a timely manner, and develop reporting mechanisms to understand and analyse metrics on your audiences, including legacy enquirers, pledgers, and in memory supporters, and their historical engagement with the charity.
· Maintain accurate supporter records in our fundraising CRM, ensuring the status of in memory fundraising and legacy pledges are monitored and reported on to support financial planning and forecasting against budgets.
· Monitor and report on activity and agreed KPIs, such as donor calls, follow-ups, page creation, and pledger contact. Provide insight to support future development of in-memory and legacy products and journeys.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity to recruit for the Head of Individual Giving in order to lead on the development and delivery of a forward thinking Individual Giving strategy that drives donor acquisition, retention and income growth.
You will manage and grow a diverse range of fundraising products across Regular and Personal Donations, Payroll Giving, Legacies, In Memory, and Mid Value Donors. With the support of experienced colleagues in Events, Partnerships and MarComms, you will build a seamless and supporter focused experience that boosts engagement across all touchpoints.
you’ll be responsible for growing awareness and diversifying income through well planned, evidence based fundraising and strategic communication. You’ll lead campaigns, manage digital and offline channels, coordinate fundraising events, and report clearly on performance and progress.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership, shaping messaging that inspires donors and stakeholders, while also managing volunteers and apprentices to support campaign delivery. The role is varied, rewarding, and deeply rooted in creating a more inclusive society.
As a Head of Individual Giving you will:
- Lead the design and execution of an integrated Individual Giving strategy
- Develop engaging supporter journeys using automation and personalisation tools
- Test and scale new giving products to reach wider and more diverse audiences
- Use data and insight to guide decision making and evaluate success
- Work cross functionally to align fundraising and communications for a cohesive supporter experience
- Manage the delivery of donor appeals and campaigns from concept to execution
About You:
You’re an experienced Individual Giving specialist with a strong track record of delivering income growth across multiple channels. You understand the value of data, automation and personalisation, and know how to turn supporter insight into action.
You’re creative, proactive, and results driven, with excellent communication and relationship building skills. You bring energy, innovation, and a genuine passion for building meaningful supporter relationships that last.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Significant experience in Individual Giving, Legacy or Personal Giving, including digital
- Strong understanding of donor journeys, segmentation, and CRM systems
- Proven ability to develop and deliver integrated fundraising campaigns
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and campaign performance
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE
Location: Remote (occasional travel to regional Hubs in the North-East, Manchester, and Norfolk)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

About You
We are seeking someone with:
- Advanced expertise in data analysis, using tools such as Python, R/SPSS, SQL, and Power BI. Experience with Salesforce is desirable.
- A proven track record of translating complex data into strategic, actionable recommendations.
- Experience designing and delivering research projects, surveys, and data strategies in a commercial, membership, or income-generating environment.
About the Role
As our senior subject matter expert on data and insights, you’ll:
- Lead the Fellowship and stakeholder data strategy, ensuring data quality, governance, and best practice.
- Manage complex datasets from CRM systems, surveys, and digital platforms, integrating multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
- Deliver statistical and qualitative analysis to identify trends, audience behaviours, and opportunities for growth and improvements.
- Create dashboards and reports that inform strategic and operational decisions across the organisation.
- Lead on survey design and analysis, producing insight that shapes the Fellowship experience.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, up to and including the Executive Team.

Business Development Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum
Somerset Wildlife Trust is excited to announce the search for a confident and strategic Business Development Manager. This role is pivotal in creating, implementing, and driving a robust Business Development Plan that directly aligns with our strategic goals. Our innovative approach is designed to build strong relationships and develop services that will significantly enhance our sustainable income.
The Business Development Manager will lead the transformation of the Trust's Business Development Plan by creating and sustaining long-term unrestricted income and business opportunities.
Responsibility 1: Lead the development of sustainable income by:
- Developing strategic partnerships with investors, corporates, and investors.
- Exploring and delivering commercial opportunities in alignment with the Trust’s priorities.
- Contributing to the long-term sustainability of the Trust by increasing unrestricted income.
- Collaborating with the Trust’s Ecological, Environmental, and Fundraising teams to ensure strong customer relationships and maximising business opportunities and projects.
Responsibility 2: Provide commercial and business leads by:
- Scoping and securing new business opportunities whilst keeping the sales pipeline moving.
- Horizon scanning for new opportunities and commercial income streams.
- Initiating cold outreach to viable prospects through whichever methods are most effective.
- Providing feedback to the Executive Team on success and routes to increased revenue.
- Developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders, influencing decisions both internally & externally.
- Leading on developing messaging, with the support from the Communications Team, to create marketing materials that facilitates expansion of the Trusts overall sales.
- Ensuring customer issues are always handled efficiently and professionally.
- Utilising the CRM system to maximise visibility of opportunities and corporates connections across the wider organisation
- Analysing market data to support opportunities for business development with existing and potential clients.
Responsibility 3: Monitor and report on income and commercial progress by:
- Preparing budget information, short and long-term forecasts on account growth and development plans.
- Monitoring account performance against budget and implementing action plans to ensure achievement of budget targets.
- Communicating with internal functions within the Trust to ensure all clients are favourably serviced at every stage of the sales process.
- Maintaining internal records and continually suggesting improvements to ensure sustainable growth.
- Utilising reports and information to support effective decision-making and analysis.
