Supported by a Counselling Administrator, the Clinical Manager’s role is to ensure that our counselling services are delivered to a high standard in accordance with the BACP & BPC frameworks and the Psychodynamic approach.

Purpose of the job:

We are seeking a results-driven and ambitious Individual Giving Manager to lead and grow our individual giving programme from the ground up. This role will deliver inspiring campaigns that boost engagement and drive unrestricted income, helping Thames21 achieve its mission. Main duties and responsibilities

Campaigns & Income Growth

• Plan, establish, and deliver Individual Giving at Thames21 to maximise unrestricted income.
• Develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns (social media, e-newsletters) to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors.
• Design and deliver major campaigns such as Christmas/end-of-year giving and Earth Raise in Year 1.
• Produce high-impact, supporter-focused copy for appeals, landing pages, forms, and stewardship content.
• Maintain brand-consistent collateral, templates, and thank-you materials.
• Collaborate across teams to identify IG opportunities and create engaging stories backed by impact data.

• Achieve growth from five- to six-figures over 3 years

• Use test-and-learn approaches to refine campaign performance and donor engagement.

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship

• Ensure Donorfy is configured to support individual giving, maximise income, and strengthen relationships, in consultation with the CRM Manager.
• Design and implement personalised supporter journeys via digital channels (e.g. Mailchimp), with timely follow-ups and tailored messaging.
• Improve retention and upgrade rates using targeted communications and segmentation.
• Ensure high-quality donor touchpoints align with organisational messaging.
• Provide stewardship for community and sports fundraising
• Collaborate on planning and delivery of donor and supporter stewardship events and initiatives.

Data, Insight & Compliance

• Conduct audience research with Communications and Engagement teams to inform campaigns.
• Use segmented data to deliver robust analysis and guide decisions.
• Track and report on KPIs, income, ROI, and retention.
• Maintain GDPR/PECR compliance and fundraising best practice.
• Liaise with Finance on acknowledgements, reporting, and Gift Aid.
• Stay ahead of sector trends and apply new ideas to improve performance.
• Collaborate with the CRM Manager to ensure data integrity and effective segmentation.

In September 2025 60 people will deliver 40 different sessions to an audience of 135 people.

Overview of the role

Outreach and Operations Support Manager, New Organising Conference

Background

Workplace Justice is the organisational home of the annual New Organising Conference, now in its third year, with support from the Network for Social Change The New Organising Conference, held over a weekend, is unique in bringing together a diverse group of participants - trade unions established and new, community organisers, not for profits, academics, lawyers and journalists, with a shared interest in worker rights and community organising. Participants learn, get inspiration and form new collaborations. In September 2025, 60 people delivered 44 different sessions to an audience of 130 people. Join Fumble as our new Programme Manager!

We’re Fumble – a bold, creative, and nationally recognised charity on a mission to make digital sexual health information relevant, engaging, fun, and safe for young people aged 13–25. We're five years in, growing fast, and dreaming big for the future. 

We’ve established an exciting programme of digital content co-creation with young people, to support them to successfully manage their sexual health, relationships, and mental health in the digital age, and we’re looking for a brilliant new Programme Manager to head this up.

This is an exciting, rewarding, and hands-on role at the heart of our small Sheffield-based team. You’ll lead the design and delivery of our projects – from the first sparks of an idea all the way through to measuring impact and celebrating success. 

This role is Sheffield-based or hybrid.

The role details

• This is a permanent role at Fumble

• Normal working day at Fumble is 9am - 5:30pm, with a 1h unpaid lunch break (7.5h day)

• 4 days/week (0.8 FTE), Monday - Thursday

  • Exciting note! We’re planning to trial a 4-day working week as an organisation in the near future, once funding is secured.

  • What would this mean? Fumble is preparing to trial a 4 day working week, which would mean a 30h work week across Mon-Thurs, with staff pay and benefits (including holiday allowance) increasing from 0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE for everyone.

• Has a creative eye and instinct for engaging, youth-led design

• Brings solid experience in managing freelancers and creative teams (we’re looking for CVs with at least 5+ years of relevant career experience)

• Is confident running charity projects end-to-end – including bid writing and fundraising, planning, people management, deadlines, budgets, and reporting

• Tools you will ideally be confident using include: Google Analytics, Data Studio, Wordpress, a CRM, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Google Drive, including especially Google Sheets.

Key deliverables expected from this role

Here are some of the key deliverables expected from the role in the first 12 months.

1. Programme delivery - youth engagement

• Expand our recent successful pilot project: ‘Healthy relationships for young women and girls’. 

This will include:

• In person delivery, in Sheffield.

• Project planning, session planning, promotion campaign to reach potential participants, facilitation of sessions and/or managing freelance facilitators, impact measurement, reporting.

• Deliver our annual cycle of engaging our Youth Advisory Board (remote, online delivery). This will include:

  • Planning and facilitating sessions via Zoom (supported by our Social Media & Comms Officer); impact measurement and reporting; safeguarding and managing the engagement and retention of members. 

2. Programme delivery - digital content and campaigns

• Delivery of our planned ‘Sexual health Q&As between young people & doctors’ campaign. This will include:

  • A series of video content, co-created with young people, for a social media campaign and series of associated website articles on the Fumble website. 

3. Supporting our safeguarding

• Supporting safeguarding at Fumble, as our Designated Safeguarding Officer. You’ll bring previous experience of effective safeguarding to help us build on our policy and practice. 

• This will include:

  • Conduct / manage annual safeguarding training for Fumble team & stakeholder groups

  • Maintain DBS checks

  • Communicate with external safeguarding agencies & expert advisors (where relevant)

  • Ensure safeguarding info is visible on the website and in sessions, and 

  • Ensure safeguarding continues to be embedded in a meaningful way across all of Fumble’s activities. 

4. Impact measurement

• Participate in the team’s development of our recently introduced impact measurement framework

• Design any additional tools needed for evaluating youth sessions, campaigns, and content.

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data (e.g. surveys, feedback forms, analytics).

• Report on outcomes and impact.

• Engage young people in co-evaluation methods where possible.

5. Supporting our fundraising 

• Participate in the team’s collective fundraising efforts. This includes:

  • identifying funding opportunities for Fumble, writing and reviewing bids, and writing reports for funders.

For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by kidney disease.

We are looking for a passionate, talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing non-legacy income 34% year-on-year since 2021 as we approach our new 5 year fundraising strategy.

This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio (target for this 12 months period is £378,000). There are no direct reports, however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Senior Management Teams, other departments and stakeholders to build and develop cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.

The successful candidate will utilise their expert writing skills to shape those cases for support into compelling, high-quality proposals and reports.

Building relationships with a wide range of audiences including funders is key. Inspiring them to support kidney patients across the UK and engage with the kidney community, enabling them to tell their stories and better communicate how larger trust grants can make a real difference for people with chronic kidney disease.

A dynamic, self-motivated, ambitious and pro-active fundraiser is required for this role, demonstrating enthusiasm for the projects and services we are seeking funds to support.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.

You will have demonstratable experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.

You will also have a background in report writing and demonstrating grant impact whilst being able to build relationships with funders, individual/major donors and senior stakeholders.

Experience of providing excellent supporter care, building mutually beneficial long-term relationships with funders is a must for this role.

Key responsibilities

Research and process management

• Work closely with our Director of Patient Support Services (Patient Grants, Hospital Grants, Advocacy and Counselling) to fully understand our work, and with our Director of Finance to fully understand the costs of delivering our work
• Build strong cases for support, ensuring that you have all the information needed to create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders
• Research and identify prospective trusts and foundations and other grant giving bodies
• Grow and maintain a strong trust funding pipeline, creating new trust prospects for our priority funding areas
• Develop our long-term trusts and foundations strategy, and agree ongoing budgets and targets for this income stream
• Maintain accurate records including tracking and analysing opportunities, results, and outcomes

Fundraising 

• Identify and manage a pipeline of high-value prospects and opportunities which have the potential to deliver five- and six-figure grants
• Work with colleagues across Kidney Care UK to develop and submit high-value and high-quality trust and foundation bids for a range of short, medium and long term projects
• Develop relationships with the Senior Management Team and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development
• Champion ways of working with the kidney community to enhance your fundraising approaches
• Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kidney Care UK’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met

Reporting 

• Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support
• Alongside the Director of Finance prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants
• Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget
• Provide briefing notes and income pipeline on donor activities and potential funding opportunities

About this key role

Our successful candidate will focus on supporting the delivery of trauma-informed, co-produced, and developmentally appropriate interventions across Poverty and VEX services.  You will be expected to build strong local partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies, representing St Giles in regional networks and multi-agency forums, plus provide line management, supervision, and coaching to up to eight practitioners working across dispersed locations, which will also include acting as safeguarding lead for your team.

We will count on you to drive performance against KPIs, contractual outcomes, and quality standards, using data and client feedback to inform service development, and to support service reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives across both pillar areas.  Supporting recruitment, induction, and training for staff across the Wales and South-West region is also a key aspect of this role.

•  In-depth knowledge and experience of implementing safeguarding policy and legislation affecting children, young people, and adults at risk, including in cross-border (England/Wales) contexts
• Proven ability to lead and manage diverse and geographically dispersed teams in complex, high-pressure environments across multiple contracts and thematic areas
• Strong understanding of the drivers of poverty, violence, and exploitation and the systems that shape exclusion
• Experience using quality assurance frameworks, audits, and data to drive service improvement
• Familiarity with contract management, KPIs, and performance frameworks

This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on Business Development Manager to join a growing social enterprise at a pivitol moment of national growth. You’ll lead on securing income through contracts, tenders, grants, and traded services, taking full ownership of the business development function from prospecting to proposal, and from pitching to handover.
