About the Project

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in psychiatric hospitals across Hertfordshire, based at Kingfisher Court in Radlett.

About the Role:

The Bounce Back worker will use a recovery orientated approach working with patients on the ward, and in the local community, including in people’s homes.

The Bounce Back Worker will be based at Kingfisher Court or Albany Lodge and Herts Mind Network Centres, promoting joint working between Kingfisher Court staff and HMN, creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.

The aims of the Bounce Back service are; to provide up to 10 sessions of emotional and practical support, advice and information to patients. We will visit patients on the ward and continue the sessions in the local community and in patient’s homes once discharged. We will facilitate a smooth and timely hospital discharge.

The recovery approach includes empathy, warmth, acceptance, authenticity, compassion and humanity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive referrals from the ward teams at Kingfisher Court, Albany Lodge and other appropriate hospitals across Hertfordshire.
• Provide practical and emotional support to encourage patients to develop their independence within their local community.
• Facilitate a smooth discharge from hospital back to the community.
• Have a solid understanding on the dual effect of mental health and drugs and alcohol.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service.
• Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of patients using the service is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• Embed a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.

This role provides overnight waking cover to ensure the safety, security, and smooth running of properties within the Cluster and on-call night hub. You bring strong experience in delivering high-quality customer service within supported or accommodation-based settings, ensuring that service users feel respected, safe, and supported at all times. You demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety regulations relevant to housing environments, alongside a basic knowledge of housing management, including maintenance, repairs, and the ability to monitor and report any property-related issues promptly.

You have proven experience in working with individuals with mental health needs, with a solid understanding of the signs, symptoms, and treatments of mental illness. You are confident in recognising when a client's mental health is deteriorating and taking the appropriate action to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

You are proficient in maintaining accurate records related to both premises and clients, using computer-based systems and demonstrating strong IT skills across Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet applications. Your good literacy and numeracy skills enable you to produce clear written correspondence and manage basic financial transactions, such as petty cash, with accuracy and accountability.

You work in line with safeguarding policies, applying your understanding of safeguarding principles to ensure the protection and welfare of all service users. Overall, you combine professionalism, attention to detail, and empathy to deliver safe, efficient, and person-centred support within accommodation-based mental health services.

When will I be working?

You will be working a shift rota, covering evenings, 39 hours per week, including some weekend shifts.

As our Domestic Abuse Officer, you will provide a high-quality pro-active service to victims of domestic abuse and other forms of VAWG in either 1:1 or group settings delivering a service to those at medium and low risk.

As a Domestic Abuse Officer, your responsibilities will be:

· To work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.

· To reach out to survivors of domestic abuse and raise awareness of domestic abuse and local services offered.

Required Skills and Experience:

CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Registered Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with CoramIAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.

CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Children in Need occupies a cherished place in the hearts of the British public and is the UK’s largest independent funder across the children’s sector. We hold a significant voice on children’s issues and play a powerful role in improving the lives of children and young people.

This role is central to that mission. You will be primarily responsible for the development and successful delivery of the ‘We Move FWD’ Fund—a £10 million, 10-year commitment to address systemic racism and issues faced by Black children and young people. To date, over £4 million has been awarded to 66 projects across the UK, with grantmaking decisions led by young Black advisors.

Under the co-leadership of Alex Holmes and Mercy Shibemba, the Fund has expanded to include narrative shifts, storytelling, and celebrating Black joy and imagination. As interim Co-Director (covering parental leave), you will build on this foundational work and lead the strategic management of an additional programme focused on polarisation and division. You will ensure both programmes are aligned with BBC Children in Need’s charitable ambition and strategy, and that their operational delivery drives meaningful impact.

Purpose:

• To ensure the accurate and timely data processing of the sales and purchase ledgers.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities cover the processing of purchase invoices, payments to suppliers, reconciliation of debtors and supporting credit control, the administration of grants and bursaries, preparing recharges across the various entities, managing the administration of the Financial Assistance scheme plus other book-keeping duties as required.

• Post authorised purchase invoices onto ledger in preparation for automated payments at least weekly. All new accounts must be added with full customer details to allow automated purchase payments
• Produce creditors report for mid and month end payment runs, clean up any allocations and prepare payment run for authorisation by Finance Manager
• Reconcile debtors, clean up any allocations, process any credit notes and prepare aged debtors report for credit control monthly
• Grants and bursaries administration
• Monthly reconciliation of cash book to Bank Statement
• Claim grant on a monthly basis

The Role

This is a senior-level opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing professional to lead content, campaigns, and digital engagement. The Candidate

You’ll bring a strong track record of leading successful campaigns, managing budgets, and using data insights to drive performance. Prior experience and knowledge of the Islamic giving community and managing Ramadan campaigns will be a distinct advantage.

You should have a clear passion for humanitarian causes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the cultural sensitivity required to work within faith-based environments. Knowledge of tools like Mailchimp, CRMs, analytics software, as well as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and HTML/CSS would be advantageous.

We are creating a new Senior Women’s Caseworker role to deliver tailored health advocacy and support to women experiencing homelessness.

You will:

• Provide one-to-one advocacy for around 35 women annually across 11 London boroughs.
• Attend approximately 250 healthcare appointments each year with clients.
• Deliver 20 women-only health promotion sessions, reaching around 100 women.
• Co-create three new resources on women’s health with clients for wider distribution.
• Support the HHPA team to embed women-centred approaches into the broader service.

We’re currently recruiting full time or part time Mental Health Practitioners to work directly with young people in our schools Mental Health Teams. For this post you need to have a mental health qualification and at least two years’ experience of working with young people.
