About the Role

As Media Lead you will be responsible for running the charity's busy press office and you will play a central role in shaping how Victim Support is seen and heard in the media. You'll write and deliver a strategic Media Plan that positions the charity as a trusted and recognised victims' voice, increases the profile of our services and contributes to influencing positive change.

This is a hands-on role where you'll manage media enquiries, build trusted relationships with journalists and ensure our spokespeople are briefed and supported for interviews. You'll work closely with colleagues across external affairs, social media and frontline services, and provide expert media advice to senior leaders. You'll also line manage our Stories Officer and oversee our Stories Library, giving a platform to victims' voices and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and run the Victim Support's press office.
• Provide quotes and comments to the media, and secure and manage interviews with VS spokespeople.
• Write and deliver the charity's Media Plan.
• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers.
• Oversee the strategic development and growth of the charity's Stories Library.
• Enhance and protect the charity's reputation.
• Increase the visibility of our services.
• Oversee the effective monitoring, reporting and evaluating of media activity.

• Experience of delivering media relations across print/online, broadcast and digital.

About the role

In this role, you'll play a key part in upskilling practitioners who support victims and witnesses of crime, helping them develop the soft skills needed to make a meaningful impact. You will;

• Support the scoping of learning needs with L&D colleagues and make recommendations on potential learning interventions.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation collating learning needs and providing consultation on effective learning solutions.
• Lead on the continuous improvement of learning across the organisation, using various sources of information, to make recommendations on amendments. Take ownership of courses and conduct scheduled reviews on content and the effectiveness of the intervention.

It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner. GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.

About the Role

Grant-making is central to GiveOut’s mission of growing giving to support LGBTQI human rights activism globally. As Senior Grant-Making Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our grant-making programme, ensuring we effectively channel resources to LGBTQI activist organisations worldwide.

Bringing a passion for and knowledge of international LGBTQI human rights, you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills in grant-making, gain insights into LGBTQI human rights movements worldwide, and build meaningful relationships with LGBTQI activists and organisations across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sector Expertise and Insights

  • Stay informed about developments in the LGBTQI movement and global LGBTQI rights.

  • Undertake occasional international travel to strengthen relationships and deepen understanding of partner activities.

• Donor and Grant Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with grant partners through regular communication and engagement.

  • Capture and share evidence and success stories from grant partners to engage and inspire GiveOut’s supporters.

  • Work with the Grant-Making Advisory Panel (GMAP) to identify and assess new grant partners, and coordinate annual GMAP meetings.

• Grant Portfolio Development and Management

  • Develop an annual portfolio of grants, balancing renewals and new partnerships, and collaborate with the Executive Director to present to the Board for approval.

  • Conduct due diligence on grant partners, draft grant agreements, and manage payment processes.

  • Monitor and evaluate partnerships, coordinating narrative and financial reporting to track progress and impact.

  • Maintain and update the grant partner database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Programmes Officer to support the growth and development of our regional service delivery over the next 18 months.

The Programmes Officer will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a portfolio of activities to strengthen CoppaFeel!s awareness raising work at a regional level, helping us to engage more young people across the UK through volunteer activities and localised service delivery.

This is a fixed term position and a busy role with broad responsibilities including project co-ordination and administration. You will sit within the Education team and report to the Senior Programmes Manager.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings, and in-person training. We will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes. 

Due to the nature of the role you will also be expected to provide occasional support with delivery and events in targeted regions throughout the UK. There may be occasional weekend / out of hours working for which you will be awarded TOIL.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to the Senior Programmes Manager to ensure the successful implementation and operation of regional projects.
• Provide administrative support, facilitating communication between key stakeholders and acting as the key contact for enquiries.
• Attend programme and stakeholder meetings to share updates and gather feedback.
• Assist with the set up and operational delivery of collaborative services, coordinating activities, resources and timelines in line with agreed delivery plans.
• Attend in person events and activities to support staff, volunteers and community partners.
• Represent CoppaFeel! at events, promoting and communicating our awareness message.
• Deliver awareness talks and presentations of our key messaging to support regional interventions.
• Liaise with colleagues in other departments to ensure services offered are targeted appropriately and to support a collaborative approach to delivering regional programmes.
• Work with the Senior Programmes Manager to identify opportunities to deliver our work in localised settings.
• Collaborate with the digital team to promote and celebrate regional work through CoppaFeel!s digital channels.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regional partners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and community groups.
• Support the Senior Programmes Manager to monitor the effectiveness and impact of regional programmes by gathering, collating and reporting data to track project progress.
• Maintain records on activities delivered and update stakeholder records using our CRM database.
• Work with the Engagement and Inclusion team to ensure services delivered are inclusive, accessible, and are informed by meaningful engagement with young people.

The Centre for Progressive Change is looking for a full-time Operations Director that will be part of the newly formed Executive Team. This role will be responsible for running the operations of the organisation with a focus on our people, systems and processes. They will work closely with the Executive Team, ensuring the organisation runs smoothly and efficiently so that we can have impact.

The Centre for Progressive Change (CPC) is an organisation that builds campaigns for national policy change in the UK. Our focus is on making progressive gains that improve the lives of low- and middle-income communities. Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

This is an exciting new role for an experienced mental health professional who has experience of providing support to and working with clients with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. You will provide Client Support for all services, including effective, in depth triage of clients, identification of client risk including escalation and support to clients. The successful candidate will provide support to all services, including building up and developing a bank of volunteers and (volunteer coordination) including general administrative support, as well as changes in service delivery. 

Client Support duties include:

• Support client enquiries by using in depth mental health skills to triage effectively
• Ensure appropriate and timely responses and assistance to clients by drawing on mental health training and experience.
• To use social prescription methodology, mental health experience and mental health triaging experience to most effectively signpost and refer (internally or externally) clients, on the phone and possibly via walk in (should we move to that type of provision)
• To liaise, (on behalf of clients), with services and service managers where clients get in touch for enquiries, changes or updates.
• Contribute to the development of a safe welcoming environment
• Provide support for clients when they may be experiencing emotional distress.

Service support duties include:

• Working with the Therapy Services Co-ordinator to provide service support, liaising with relevant staff where there are changes to client appointments or staff rotas and keeping rotas up to date
• Utilising and updating the client database/s for client enquiries, client information and changes to services
• Working with service managers to ensure homogeny of client referral information and processes
• Supporting clients and services by keeping an up to date understanding and log of internal services

Volunteer Co-ordination duties include:

• Building up and developing a bank of volunteers for services in order to develop new service models to expand our capacity to reach more people
• Recruiting and inducting new volunteers and working with / liaising with service managers to ensure they are matched with the right opportunities
