Responsibilities

The employee will provide day-to-day support to the Ambassadors team. In this role, Ambassador Community Coordinator  will:

• Participate in the implementation of a “white glove” strategy aimed at retaining and engaging a broad and sustainable base of VVIP contacts while strengthening their sense of belonging to the Ambassadors community.
• Support the team in organising and coordinating a calendar of events, particularly Ambassador events taking place in Paris, London, Brussels (and sometimes New York).
• Produce communication and engagement materials to animate the community on various platforms and to promote its actions externally.
• Be responsible for researching and monitoring news about the community.
• Contribute to the identification and integration of new Ambassadors (recruitment, onboarding, etc.).
• Ensure the proper maintenance of the database.
• Be responsible for any other tasks that may be assigned to them as part of their duties.

Skills and qualifications required for this position:

• All candidates must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
• Required experience: minimum 4 years of professional experience in fields relevant to the position, for example: network and community management, customer engagement, exclusive events, etc.
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Dynamic, open-minded and independent, the candidate must be able to work with rigour.
• Ability and appetite for working independently on research and analysis assignments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and open-mindedness

Contract Details

• Position based in central London (Mayfair), UK (with option to work from home 2 days per week).

We are seeking a Wilder Communities Officer (Testwood) to join our cause.  

To succeed in putting nature in recovery, we need more people on nature’s side – to support the Trust, to take action themselves and to persuade others to do things differently. The science suggests that to create a social tipping point in society where we can turn things around for climate and wildlife, we need 1 in 4 people to take meaningful action in support of the natural world. 

As part of the Testwood team, this role will use community organising approaches to support the community to take action for nature, on and around one of the Trust’s flagship reserves, Testwood Lakes. Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve is a popular destination for the public and provides an important countryside destination in close proximity to Totton and Southampton. Part of the reserve is a multifunctional site providing access and use for angling, recreation and dog walkers. Our Education Centre provides space for visiting school groups, and at weekends, hosts a variety of children and family activities. 

The post holder will work with Trust staff, other charities and communities to make a real difference to people’s connection with nature. They will play an active role in managing and developing excellent relationships and support in behaviour change of visitors. The role supports positive community engagement and action for nature as well as actively supporting site management. Positive and confident engagement is a necessity to promote the wildlife importance of the reserve and Trust’s interests while reinforcing responsible use of the site.

Communications and Community Engagement Officer

Kingston Carers' Network (KCN) is an independent charity providing information, advice, advocacy and support to unpaid carers of all ages who are caring for someone with an illness, disability or substance misuse problem.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual with a passion for communications and social change. We are currently supporting over 4000 carers, including over 800 young carers, who are caring for a relative or friend with a disability, illness, mental health problem or substance addiction. The successful candidate will have the ability to build and cultivate relationships with local organisations, as they will be managing our various social media channels. Recent experience of working in a communications role within the charity or public sector is essential.

 About you 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and motivated Project and Programme Manager with experience of delivering complex and multi-stakeholder programmes on time, and within budget.

You will oversee a portfolio of internally and externally-funded projects focused on the delivery of Ukie’s Supercharged mission. Initially, this is likely to include Ukie’s successful Raise the Game initiative alongside a number of smaller skills-related projects.

What you’ll be doing 

As a Programme Manager, based primarily within the Education team you will also be responsible for leading on the delivery of a range of funded partner projects. Working with colleagues across teams, you will support funding bids for new education and social impact based projects. Should these be successful then you will hold lead responsibility for co-ordinating work with colleagues to ensure successful delivery. 

Key responsibilities  

As Programme Manager you will: 

• Provide programme leadership for our Raise the Game (RTG) initiative. Oversee the end-to-end delivery, ensuring the programme meets its objectives and delivers measurable impact across the UK video games industry.

• Shape the programme’s strategy and roadmap, aligning activities with Ukie’s wider mission and priorities.

• Stakeholder engagement and partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations, industry leaders, educators and community groups. Act as the key point of contact for all programme stakeholders, championing diversity and inclusion in every interaction. 

• Establish the RTG small grant funding pot and oversee its process for distribution. 

• Plan, co-ordinate and deliver key programme activities, including the annual Festival of Food event. 

• Manage programme budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money and long term sustainability.

• Work closely with Ukie’s Communications team to develop and deliver impactful content, case studies and campaigns that amplify our initiatives and increase engagement. 

• Represent Ukie at external events, roundtables and conferences as a visible ambassador. 

• Promote good practice in diversity, equity and inclusion practices across the games sector, influencing industry approaches.

• Co-ordinate working groups and steering committees related to initiatives and projects being managed.

• Work with Ukie colleagues to seek and apply for funding opportunities related to Ukie’s social impact and education work.

Fundraising department:

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.

· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.

· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

Job purpose

This is a new and pivotal role, responsible for developing and growing legacy income for the Royal Free Charity. It focuses on building a comprehensive legacy programme that encompasses strategy, marketing, and stewardship, ultimately securing long-term income to support the Royal Free Charity's vital work.

Key tasks and responsibilities

Legacy strategy and marketing

•  Develop and implement the RFC’s legacy fundraising strategy to significantly grow legacy income from a base of £1m per annum.
• Work with the senior individual giving manager to identify distinct legacy audiences and segments among supporters, understanding their characteristics and motivations to tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
•  Work with the senior individual giving manager to develop compelling and powerful cases for support tailored to identified target audiences.
• Undertake research where appropriate to inform strategy development and identify new legacy prospects.
• Work collaboratively with RFC’s communications and engagement team and Individual Giving to develop effective marketing concepts and approaches across various channels, including digital and print, to promote legacy giving.
• Influence internal culture and ensure legacy messaging is included in all relevant communications.
• Proactively engage with teams across the charity and NHS Trust to demystify legacy giving, overcome barriers to discussing death and gifts in wills.

Legacy stewardship and engagement

• Act as a primary point of contact for external enquiries about legacies.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with legacy pledgers and potential supporters, ensuring a personalised approach to engagement and communication.
•  Devise and implement a robust engagement and stewardship programme for legacy pledgers and prospects, ensuring integration with other fundraising and communications activities where relevant.
• Review and develop correspondence sent to legacy enquirers and pledgers.
•  Implement procedures to ensure all enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner.
•  Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as solicitors and lay executors to gain insights and support for legacy giving.

Legacy administration

• Work with our outsourced legacy administrator to monitor the legacy income pipeline and oversee practical legacy administration tasks.
• Work with the outsourced legacy administrator to provide timely and accurate reports on legacy income, including progress against targets and insights for future strategy

• Liaise with the outsourced legacy administrator on complex or contentious legacy cases to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain and support accurate record keeping on Raisers Edge.

Budget & reporting

•  Develop and manage the legacy marketing expenditure budget, as well as forecasting the legacy income pipeline
•  Support the team by contributing to the annual planning and reporting process, including progress reports and financial reports.
•  Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of legacy strategies and activities.

General responsibilities

•  Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, such as donor events and communications campaigns.
• Stay informed about changes in legislation, best practice, and industry standards related to legacy promotion, ensuring all activities adhere to relevant regulatory procedures, including GDPR, the Data Protection Act, and Institute of Fundraising guidelines.

Key relationships

 This role will need to maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders:

• Internal: wider fundraising team, communications and engagement team, grants team
• External: legacy administrator, solicitors, supporters, patients and their families, NHS Trust staff

Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced and committed Service Manager to lead supported accommodation services for young people in Lambeth.

Position: Service Manager
Salary: £37,880 per annum (including London weighting) plus pension and other benefits

About the Role

As Service Manager you will oversee a group of supported accommodation services across Lambeth, Twickenham and Greenwich. The service supports young people aged 16 to 25, including those at risk of homelessness and unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people.

You will manage five properties and lead a team of Progression Coaches, Night Progression Coaches, a Senior Coach, a Floating Support Worker, an Apprentice and volunteers. Working closely with Lambeth commissioners and the Leaving Care Team, you will ensure high-quality, safe and responsive services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating a team to deliver person-centred, high-quality support
• Overseeing service delivery to meet contract requirements and KPIs
• Ensuring effective safeguarding, health and safety and compliance
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies
• Managing budgets, assets and reporting requirements
• Maintaining positive relationships with neighbours and local communities
• Contributing to on-call rota for London-wide emergency cover

About You

We are seeking a compassionate and confident Project Manager to lead our InterAction project, delivering high-quality support to asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants across Tyne and Wear. This strategic and operational leadership role involves managing a small team, coordinating multi-agency partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of impactful casework, drop-in services, and targeted contracts focused on health access and social inclusion. 

The InterAction service provides practical and emotional support through weekly drop-ins in Newcastle, regional casework, and collaborative work with community organisations. You will oversee service planning, budgeting, and monitoring, while promoting integration, wellbeing, and empowerment for those navigating the asylum and resettlement process. 

You will work closely with the Head of Client Services and other Action Foundation teams to ensure joined-up delivery and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a commitment to inclusion, and a passion for supporting people with lived experience of migration.

Action Foundation is an award-winning charity established in 2005 to support and empower asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants in the North East. We deliver services across Tyne & Wear, helping over 2,000 people each year to overcome barriers, build community connections, and develop skills for independence.

Essential information

Reports to: Head of Client Services

Hours: 35 hours per week, full time

Location: To operate from Newcastle and Gateshead with travel across Tyne and Wear

Salary Scale: £31,483 – £36,581 per annum plus 6% pension contribution

Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months; subject to passing a 3-month probation period

Annual Leave: 28 days + English Bank Holidays

About the role

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

Crisis at Christmas is our unique event, with centres across Britain offering people experiencing homeless food, clothing, advice and support with health, housing, employment and benefits, as well as a safe space to stay at an extremely challenging time of year.

Our Christmas Case Management Team work across the Crisis at Christmas services in London. We provide support to guests of Christmas experiencing homelessness and who lack support from other services. We continue this support into the year after Christmas and we take further referrals throughout the year from partner agencies.

We prioritise building meaningful relationships and work with people to identify what works for them. Our approach is developed from trauma informed, strengths-based and intensive case management approaches and we deliver this through an outreach-based service, working across the London boroughs.

About you

We are looking for an experienced, skilled and driven person to join the Case Management Team as a Case Manager. In this key role, you will support a caseload of people experiencing homelessness. You will ensure the accuracy of records and data, compile reports which evidence our impact, oversee financial systems and support the mapping of services across London reporting. The role also provides opportunity to supervise volunteers, collect feedback from members, and support the team manager with service development.

You will receive support with training, regular supervision, and professional development. Crisis is an innovative and multi-faceted organisation and there are many internal opportunities to get involved with as well. Finally, you will be joining a high performing and highly experienced team, who are passionate and motivated to improve the quality of life of people experiencing homelessness across London.

The Community Development team at KCLSU are looking for an Events and Outreach Department Manager to lead the team and drive the strategic development and delivery of KCLSU's community events and volunteering opportunities. The Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association (known as SASRA) is one of the longest-established Christian charities supporting the British Armed Forces. Under Royal patronage and working with over 70,000 soldiers, 30,000 RAF personnel and some 10,000 supporters of various types, we look to introduce members of the British Armed Forces to a practical experience of the Christian faith. 

We are now looking for home-based Regional Managers to help us engage with the Christian public across the UK.

The main function of Regional Managers is to bring before the Christian public the work we do taking the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing a practical experience of the Christian faith to the young people of the British Army and Royal Air Force.

The Regional Manager will present in churches, manage a team of volunteers, establish and maintain strategic partnerships across their region, lead regional projects and events, and produce and curate a wide variety of content.

The aim is to stimulate and encourage prayer, financial support and volunteering in support and furtherance of the work of SASRA, always respecting the interdenominational nature of our ministry. You will shape and grow the fundraising activities in the region and meet with supporters.
